Walls are not insulated well with large amounts of insulation missing. Bathroom fan not vented, dead ended underneath between insulation and ceiling panel. A/C unit that came with unit cannot cool Park Model, unit is large enough but it is really inefficient being placed underneath Park Model. Screws missing in dresser draw mounting brackets, screws found on floor. Brackets were stapled with air gun and came out, but dresser on other side were screwed properly. Very low quality light switches and plugs, on/off switch for water heater started on fire and melted. Bought this unit new and tried ti get a response from Forest River but finally gave up. They obviously have a poor quality of work and not much of quality control. Buyer beware or be prepared to have a low quality unit.

I purchased this park model in 3/21. 2 months ago the tiled shower floor became spongy near the drain. After consulting several bath specialists it became clear that the entire shower would need to be replaced . The contractor showed me the reality that there was no subfloor under a majority of the shower. It was cut out at the time of construction. Had I not acted quickly to find a resolution to the issue I could have been gravely injured had the tile collapsed. With this knowledge I reached out to Forest River. This was a faulty build. Their response was without accountability. They stated it was outside the 1 year warranty, and no compensation for the build was forthcoming. A word of advice to anyone looking to purchase a park model. Do not buy from Forest River. They do not stand by their product.

I am new to the RV market. I’m very excited about my purchase of the Forest River Timberwolf 16ML. I’m very happy. I’m very satisfied for the unit. I’m single and I’m an over the road trucker. I’m not home much. It’s definitely a starter. It’s considered a destination trailer. You don’t want to travel around with this big black box with a porch. My only problem is I was naïve with the paperwork. They penciled me in at $35,000. I put $8000 down. And somehow the finance company saying I owe $49,000 right now to pay it off. I didn’t know what I was doing. I was just happy with the payment. Plus, I needed a place to live.

I was so disappointed with the 2024 Hampton 388fkl. Bought it new. Very poor support and workmanship. Continuously getting piping leaks, mould everywhere. Within 3 weeks I feel thru the step going down to the bedroom and fell bad enough that I had to have surgery on my knee. The step was made of 1/4 " plywood with no support at the back of it or on the centre. Took 3 months to get them to fix it. All kinds of mould under it on the floor. The freshwater pump which I never had to use as I was attached to town water it ruptured and spewed water all over. Had to fix it myself as they had no time or manpower to do it. Furnace wouldn't run right and had to be replaced. Thermostat wouldn't work right and was changed out 2 times. The heat thermostat also does not come back on after an electrical outcome. Not good when you are out overnight and it turns off during freezing weather or you wake up to it being off for the night. Heat is not distributed very well as most of the heat poured into the bathroom and very little to the livingroom and kitchen. Had to run water on hot for 10-15 minutes to get hot water out to the kitchen. Fan above the stove never worked and couldn't get them to replace it. Hot water inline heater died within a year and they wouldn't replace it. Fridge died just over a year and they wouldn't do anything with it. Then the rodent problem during the 2nd winter. They were all thru the walls and would chew 3" holes in thru the back of the kitchen cabinets and then another 3" whole thru the side of the cabinets into the kitchen. Opened the on cabinet to find it full of insulation bits. The mice accessed all the wiring and ate thru that then loosing power in the kitchen area. They got into the theatre chairs rendering them non operative. They were everywhere and avoided any traps. I went underneath the trailer and found numerous places the rodents had access to the inside of the trailer. One hole inside I could see daylight thru it and bare main wiring. Which is what you have to do - avoid Crossroads Hampton trailers completely or do what I did and walked away from it.

Toilet started running water non stop had to replace it. All the pluming has leaked and had to be fixed. There is so many defects it would take me to long to write them all. This RV is so poor quality I wish we did not buy it. The last straw for me was when our bedroom floor was so soft we thought we were going to fall through. We got the repair guy in and he said it was probably leaking and it would be a 4,000 to repair. When he lifted the floor he found that there was no leak and they had put thin veneer board down. Not meant for floors. Do not buy Forest River you will regret it.

Horrible. Anyone who buys a Forest river product must be insane. I wish someone would have written the review I am writing now prior to my purchase. As a Berkshire Hathaway shareholder I was excited to purchase from one of our companies. This thought was a mistake. The plywood floor on the slide out is about to fall in and their customer service is horrible. 1 year warranty??? No wonder. Berkshire should sale this company immediately before a class action lawsuit happens. I would not recommend purchasing any forest river products. You will be sorry very soon after purchasing. I actually feel sorry for dealers selling their products. This company will probably not be in business much longer given the poor quality of materials and workmanship. I will send pictures to anyone who wants to see them.

I have hade several issues with the Sandpiper 401 that I bought last year. The black water tank has been leaking since I bought the trailer., and is still leaking . The wall in the bedroom came loose from the studs. The awning arm was broken. The backsplash in the kitchen came loose from the wall. The screen door on the sliding door was 5 “ too short. The trailer is used as a summer home and is in a pole barn. I am currently dealing with the smell of the black water tank leaking in my floor. The dealer has been here 5 times to deal with it and the last time they were hear the installed a new one. It is leaking just as bad, and the wall is coming loose from the studs in the hall. I’m not a happy customer by any means! Wish I hadn’t bought this piece of shit.
