I was looking to upgrade my camper trailer with specific objectives in mind: 1. to be able to get further off-grid in BLM land where the terrain is rougher 2. to be able to be out earlier and later in the shoulder seasons when the weather is colder I chose this model for the following reasons: 1. it is still smaller and lighter for towing off-road 2. the floor plan is comfortable for 2-4 people and the dining area is the best with windows on three sides and the full back wall is window! 3. it comes with an off-road package and four-season package with additional insulation, tank heaters, higher clearance, more aggressive shocks and tires and aluminum frame I pulled this comfortably behind a Chevy Colorado and could go everywhere I wanted. I love this model!

I simply love the floor plan. We did replace the rv queen mattress with a true queen mattress. Original was pretty useless. Not really impressed with the build quality. Slide out bracket was installed poorly, lost a suspension bolt before 5000 miles. Finish exposed to Texas sun degraded within 12 months. Had to replace the leaking toilet flush valve on first trip. Vinyl trim strips were replaced after 24 months due to complete degradation. Just shoddy workmanship overall. You would think a little bit of quality control would have caught most of these I love their floor plans but they have to do better before I’ll buy a Keystone again.

First time buying a brand new camper. Loved floor plan and bought. On delivery noticed damage, so looked closer. LOTS of half ass work building unit!!! Hot water heater didn’t work on power because was installed to far from power outlet. Of course dealership didn’t catch until after a year of owning so cost was on me. Drawers not installed properly so if you pull out more than one entire drawer set falls out wall. Fridge not installed properly so have to use screwdriver to open. Seals around EVERYTHING not properly sealed so of course damage and not cover once discovered so again cost on me. Gave Camping World 2 chances to fix everything wrong but still skimmed over! Never buy from Camping World! In 2 years have only used camper 4 times and been in shop 6! Bought brand new and very disappointed! Will never buy another Heartland because of crap construction. Tried filling LEMON LAW but not available in my state!!! Tried filling after 2 months from buying! Paid 80k and after only using once because of issues asked about trade in and was quoted 30k!!! WTF!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from buying anything new and anything from Heartland! Soooo much more I’m not listening about crappy construction of this camper but I hope you get the point!!!

We owned both Type A and Type C motor homes prior to owning the JAYCO Jayfeather 25RB travel trailer, and we can say that our experience with the Jayfeather was much better by far. For us the affordability and the cost / benefit comparison favored the travel trailer by far; and this cost effectiveness, extends to maintenance and insurance costs, making it the more budget-friendly option for us. We feel the Jayfeather floorplan was much more practical and comfortable than we had with our prior motor homes. The kitchen configuration and the bench-style seating in the dining area was both efficient for meal preparation and dining. We also like the versatility of being able to unhitch the trailer and travel around town without being concerned about access and parking, making shopping and sightseeing more convenient.

Livability the camper is perfect. I travel for work state to state, and it had been a breath of fresh air. However overall quality of the RV has been hell. I was giving a one-year warranty and when i call in for service no one ever calls back nor help. The summertime my ac unit went out. I call the local dealer for assist and no help. Out of pocket I paid 1500 just to fix the AC unit. When I purchase my camper in March of 2024 I was not told or educated on the horrible service I would get with the warranty. Now my refrigerator unit went out. The lights are on, but the unit is not getting cold. I called yet again to make a service appointment left voicemail and no call back or return any of the calls. Why purchase the extra warranty when they don't help you with the original warranty.

I bought this travel trailer brand new. We’ve had nothing but issues from the get go. From a cracked bathtub, leaks everywhere, a faulty toilet (warranty surprisingly did replace the toilet), the underbelly coming lose, poor construction job, etc. I’m so tired of owning this POS and can’t wait till we are done paying it off. I’ll never buy a prowler again.
