We purchased this Attitude toyhauler in June of 2023. Immediate problems were holes in the bottom of trailer allowing rodents and dirt into living area. The onan generator would not keep running and the onan regional director found it was installed incorrectly at the Eclipse factory. The front cap is de-laminating and must be replaced. The hot water heater does not work properly. The fridge wont operate over 5500' in elevation. We began dealing with the factory on these warranty items in July 2023. As of 5/28/2024 Eclipse has not made one repair. Their warranty dept. is deceitful and dishonest to both their customers and dealers. I have spoken with 2 of their dealers who told me they will no longer sell Eclipse (attitude) RV's as their quality is horrible and they can't get the parts to repair them. Buyer beware!

They'll make you as the consumer, jump through hoops to fix the problems with their units. Calling any idea they have "suggestions" so they can weasel out of coverage of anything done to your unit per their "suggestions" Even if you show them proof of the issues (video, written documentation, multiple witnesses, etc.) and show that the parts they've installed are out of specification - they'll assume no liability leaving you with the bills and an unsafe expensive camper because they choose not to fix it. They'll try to bully you into submission when you stand up to them as well, I've found and anytime they have information that hurts their case further they will call you rather than continue in email correspondence so they can try to lose the paper trails. They'll also tell you that people with 30+ years' experience don't supersede their techs who claim nothing is wrong when they've proven time and time again their products are failing. They'll also blame you - your experience, tow vehicles, hitch(es), everything they can to push blame from their units. In my case the trailers axles were installed 5" out of spec in terms of front to rear positioning, and also have a 1/2" difference between a front & rear hanger diagonally causing sway, bounce, tracking issues, movement etc. in the trailer. I've learned since that I'm not the only owner experiencing this issue and not many have found solutions that work. Those who have, I've tried with no difference made in my particular unit. Now I'm told it's my responsibility to pay a 3rd party out of pocket to prove (again) that there's still an issue. Then, once I do; it must be reviewed by their team before they deem it something they need to fix under their "warranty". I have since found cracks in the trailers frame and gaps / drops throughout the flooring inside. I have filed a report with the NHTSA at this time providing every detail, email, invoice, photo, video proof, and written statement.

Our Work & Play toy hauler obviously works really well for taking our Polaris XP-1000 RZR side-by-side out to the desert or mountains for riding, especially since it has a 30-gallon fuel station built into it. I was always uncomfortable with carrying gas cans inside our previous older to hauler. That being said, the toy hauler does have 2 built-in vents; one that draws in outside air toward the front and one toward the rear that expels the air. The little secret about toy haulers is that they work great for "regular" camping since they are very roomy. We've used it many times for camping trips, and we took it to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last year and it was great! Unlike many toy haulers that have a bed in one corner of the main area, this one has a separate bedroom on a slide-out adjacent to a large bathroom with a large shower. Being a toy hauler it also has a 98-gallon fresh water tank! We put the patio kit on ours, which makes the ramp into an outdoor patio area, separated by a wide screen to keep bugs out. This is great for BBQ'ing so we didn't have to go up and down the steps each time we needed something from the kitchen. One minor downside to this toy hauler is that it is 8.5 feet wide, so visibility in hindered a bit along the sides of the trailer. However, I equipped ours with a wireless camera and screen which I clip onto the mirror in our truck so it's natural to look at it for a good view of the road behind. The 21LT only weighs 5928 lbs empty (UVW), so it is easily towed by a half ton truck that is geared appropriately. Gas mileage suffers though as the trailer is both wide and tall. Finally, we used a Blue Ox Sway Pro weight distribution hitch which does an amazing job controlling sway, and is also very quiet compared to the friction type hitches. Note that I rated the factory warranty / support as 3-stars based on experience with a previous new Forest River trailer we had bought. We bought this toy hauler used and did not have to used Forest River for any repairs.

Purchased new in June 2023. Immediately the generator would overheat and shutdown. ( cummins/Onan inspected and said it was improper installation by Eclipse). The front cap is delaminated and needs replaced. Refrigerator doesn't work properly. Slide doesn't open/close properly. All the small issues I repaired with these listed are beyond the scope of an owner. I started dealing with Eclipse warranty Dept last June. Their dealers won't do their warranty work sighting no factory support and parts availability. As of 4/4/2024 they still have not resolved my issues. No more ECLIPSE junk for me.

Buyer beware! Condensation within the walls without any visible signs . My Octane has never shown any condensation issues, not in the cabinets or living areas. I’ve always kept the unit well vented when in storage and under a RV carport. Your RV may be rotting away and you don’t even know it! My Octane is an excellent example of poor craftsmanship and no pride in one’s work! It took just seven year for the front eight feet to rot away from the inside out. I would have not known except that my Octane split open driving down the highway. The entire passenger side front corner opened up nearly the entire length while we were heading to a rally. At highway speeds it took just seconds to start peeling back and away. After opening up the walls I discovered massive gaps with no insulation and the AC duct-work taps so poorly cut that half the air was being pumped into the roof and walls! The three roof vents were open behind the trim pieces. So every time we ran the AC we were pumping moisture into the walls and roof. This was so bad that the aluminum floor framing has rotted away, yes aluminum 1 1/2 square tubing totally dissolved in seven years! There was no vapor barrier between the outer aluminum siding and the inside walls. This creates continuous condensation every time there is a temperature variation. Forget about the warranty or your RV insurance, you are on your own for the repairs on this type of damage. Dealer estimate for the repairs? Just shy of $16,000 for repairs! Like I would let any dealer repair it back to factory specs!! I’ve repaired the unit myself for less than 3K. I used closed cell insulation, treated lumber, vapor barriers, Kreg joints, exterior rated glues and highly elastic polymer caulk and sealants. Built the way you would expect to find in one of these expensive toys. So look before you buy and definitely check if you own. Not all RV Condensation can be seen!

My RV was droped off during covid. Driver refused a walk through because it wasnt his job. Both roof mount air conditioners did not work. It took over a month of fighting with Gander RV in Idaho to have them replaced. I was retiring and wanted to travel. Propane heater has been in twice because it wont come on. Electric Fireplace started amoking and I shut it down... Am bing told by Camping world that the plug that powers it melted. Radio and TV come on by themselves intermittently and will turn on putter speakers by itself. Warranty says they wont replace it unless their representative witnesses it! SERIOUSLY They tried to say it was a power surge... I showed them the surge protector they sold me that is in perfect working order. Then warranty told the Service people they then believed it was possibly struck by lightning. Service center told them there were no evidence of that and the problem is only centralized by entertainment center. They love to take your money but you have to fight tooth n nail to make them replace things in a unit you bought brandnew for 50 grand. Plus bought their extended warranty... I had to cancel retirement travel due to all the ongoing issues. Pretty sad! Now they will pay for replacing the electrical outlet and fireplace but told me I have to pay for all shipping costs of parts? 36 years of breaking my back to retire and this is the business I have been dealt! BUYER BEWARE

We purchased our new 2023 Atitude toyhauler in June of 2023. These are the issues we have had so far. 1. Hot water heater does not work. 2. Onan generator was improperly installed and will overheat and shutdown. 3. Refrigerator sometimes won’t ignite and when it does it runs a few minutes and shuts down. 4. Front cap is de-laminating creating large bubbles in the material. 5. Roofing is wavy and has bubbles all over it. 6. 10”x10” hole underneath allowing rodents, dirt and water directly into camper. 7. Bathroom medicine cabinet has sharp metal edges on it and cuts you. 8. Dealer pre-sale setup wasn’t done correctly allowing a wheel to come off at 70mph. 9. Ladder not installed correctly leaving large holes through the outside of camper. 10. AC storage door improperly installed allowing it to come loose from trailer. I have had to repair some of these problems due to safety concerns but as of 12/23 I still haven’t gotten the main problems resolved with the manufacturer. This camper was purchased from DD RV in Boise, ID. Very poor customer service and non-responsive employees.
