2023 Forest River Wolf Pack 24Gold14. I love this RV for its size and floor plan, but it tows absolutely horrible! I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 that has 9100 lbs towing capacity. This RV weighs 6500 lbs but it tosses my truck all over the road. Towing this is the definition of white knuckling. I had a friend tow it with his 3/4 ton and it was a little better, but it tossed that truck around as well. I believe the trailer has an inherently bad design with excessive tongue weight , extra tall and extra wide. If anyone else has experience towing this trailer, I would love to hear about it. I am planning to trade this in on a Jayco Hay Flight 265 TH, which is 1500 lbs. lighter and 300 lbs. less tongue weight. It is the same length, but is 2 ft. Shorter in height, and 6 inches narrower in width.

This RV was an awesome camper. It's a full-length bumper pull toy hauler. The best thing about this unit is the floor plan. It literally has 2 separate bedrooms each with a queen size bed, and each room with a real door to separate the spaces. This is perfect for camping with kids and guests. The second bedroom converts to the garage and it also can be arranged as 2 couches, a table and benches or 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has direct on-suite access to the bathroom. This unit also has a slide in the main living area created a spacious feel. Many bumper pull toy haulers do not have a slide. The outdoor shower is convenient for rinses off or washing feet before entering have having fun and getting dirty. This camper over all was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

Hated to do this but I'm so over Keystone RV. They are the worst and thanks to there being NO lemon laws I have ZERO legal recourse. They are refusing to refund my money at all.
I hope all my friends post this everywhere they feel comfortable.
Here is a SMALL sampling (I have 27 pages of repair requests) of what has happened with my NEW camper since I picked it up on 4/12:
3/30/2023 bought the camper
4/12/2023 picked up from dealer
4/16/2023 first incident with the vent covers and roof inspection, side of camper flapping going down the road and broken leg on couch in cargo area
4/19/2023 wire creating spark when moving the slide, front door not latching, front cap on shower not attached bowing out 1/2", screws missing on the panel, drawers not latching
4/28/2023 took in for water heater throwing an error the roof inspection showed sealant with voids.
06/02/2023 window blew out of camper while driving to appointment, awning has cuts, awning lights not fully working, Entry door latch broke locking me in the camper, leak from under shower running into the bedroom damaging bathroom sink, water leaking around vent not at the cover damaging the ceiling on both sides of it they said they found no leak
6/16/2023 more water leaking under the camper and the fireplace, water heater installed incorrectly causing it to leak, speaker fell out of ceiling, black tank not draining fully, kennel door not closing was put in crooked,
7/6/2023 ceiling still getting wet when it rains. Water heater had an E3 error, Kitchen sink not draining properly causing water to run out from under it into the living area, peeling around the cabinet in the bedroom
7/10/2023 got home from the dealer (they kept it over the weekend) and noticed that the wheel well was coming off.
7/31/2023 took back for more issues regarding the walls bubbling and repair of awning and window. When they figured out the black tank flush inlet found it was going straight into the fresh water tank contaminating the fresh water tank more every time I thought I was flushing the black water.

I have tryed multiple times to reach out to Camping World in Wentzville Mo and they keep telling me they will call back, But no one does. They contacted my credit union about a trailer I wanted and My credit union told me thay would approve a certain amount . Then I told them I was interested and I needed to know What the total amount was going to be. I was told $36,489.00 .They were supose to get back and no one did even after I made several attemps to reach out to them. I talked with Robert and Jason James and others there, Im very disapointed sofar, when people tell me multiple times they will call back and dont, Make me wonder If they can be trus The next day I went down to Camping World and I understand why they did not contact me it's because they were swamped by customers. I ended up purchasing the camper through them I'm waiting for them to do small repairs on the trailer . Ok I really got screwed. the repair work I was concerned about on the corners of the slide out and other corners were not resealed and they reashured me it would not leak at all and they fully checked it out and every thing was fine. They refused to let me check the roof do to liability reasons. the damage on the slide out on the inside was hidden by new recliners so you could not see the damage. Here is the real kicker, they told me that the trailer was going to cost me 38,995.00 and my payments were only going to be $455.29 a month and did not tell me there was going to be a $42,957.20 Finance Charge. for the lone. total of $81,952.20 for a 2019 wolf pack 25pack12 travel trailer. If I would have known I would have left without it.I strongly beleave I got Really screwed over. People they do not have the customers best intrest in mind. they are willing to hide the damage and be dishonest just to make a sale, Jason James Rv Sales Associate helped

I wish I'd read some of these reviews before purchasing. Got this unit, brand new in 2022. For 3 months the factory had lost the unit on one of their storage lots. Pretty much missed the entire summer before it arrived. Got to use it for 1 week, and went through it. Found so many cosmetic issues from it obviously being slammed together. Damage to trim, a big chip in the porcelain toilet, evidence of workers wiping their hands of caulking. Roof vinyl wrinkling. The fridge doesn't work. This unit has spent more time getting parts replaced than I've actually used it. The fridge has been "fixed" 3 times , and as of this writing, while on our second trip with it, it is still not working. All of the Brad nails used inside are failing and trim is falling off in multiple places. Other things fall off at random. For the premium price of this unit, you would think there would be some pride in workmanship. This is clearly not the case. Would never recommend a keystone unit to anyone. I can tell that this thing is going to be nothing but problems for the entire time we own this. I'm now happy I sprung for the lifetime warrant. I will need it.

Yes went back to the factory but came back as bad as it was before. Never again will we buy a Forrest River product. Their warranty sucks and you are without the rv for a prolonged period of time while they still don't fix it right.

Factory would not cover under warranty because they blamed in on roof material & glue. Roof maker would not cover it and neither would dealer. Dealer reglued roof but $1800 & 2 yrs later roof ripped in same place & started leaking again. Very disappointed in manufacturer!! Was totally ripped off. Buyers beware.

Purchased new 2022 Shockwave toy hauler Jan 2023 at CW Mesa, AZ. Dealer prep horrible. Fit and finish horrible. Quality control horrible. Hauled to campsite instead of going home to CO for Winter. First night and every one there after heater failed during night. Been 5 1/2 months and no one can fix. Numerous attempts by CW. Then picked up by Forest River and taken to CA factory for repair. Should do it right? No way Sent with list of about 20 other items also, some fixed, some half done and few they said no to.??? Heater was not fixed, they lost my keys and returned without the tables. After many e-mails and days I was told to find a dealer to take it to. They said they would ship me tables. Only reason they don't get negative 100 stars. So will have to update when and if I ever get a working heater. Other items that were defective: fridge wouldn't run on elec, showers, floor structural, carpet, windows. doors, underbelly, various trim. This thing is a bad 70K paper weight. I have stated my preference to return for a full refund. But once they have your $. So don't make my mistake don't give them the $ find a different brand. I already found mine, do the research. I can't even sell this thing until I find a tech that can fix it. A reputable co would take it back and deal with it and let me move on.
