We own a 2024 JX450 that we custom ordered. Overall we are very happy with this unit and i don't think there is any other unit that we would want. That said i did rate a couple of things as 3 stars and quality control/attention to detail are why. My unit being custom ordered was missing some things which required the dealer to have parts sent and installed like a door. There were also some other items that QC missed that should not have left the factory that way. We did have to take a trip back to the factory to have some things addressed and while they addressed most of the things again attention to detail was lacking and i had to point out multiple things that were not fixed to my satisfaction. They eventually got it right but i had to hand hold it to get it there. My biggest gripe with my rig is the paint. I know they send them to a painter to be painted and buffed and whoever they have do it did not do a very good job buffing my rig. You could see machine marks all over it and i had to buff them out to get it to look like the brand new RV it is. Show less

I am the second owner of my unit. Having owned several RVs am satisfied with the fit and finish of the 2019 DRV product. It is unlikely that I would buy a model newer than mine. A change in ownership has led the DRV corporate mindset away from providing their customers a quality product relative to the premium price they demand. This is based on my conversations with other DRV owners. I have lived by myself full time in mine for nearly three years now. I can honestly say I'm a proud owner. These units require upkeep. I would budget $3,000 to $4,000 a year in routine maintenance. To all potential buyers, you cannot neglect the care of your coach. They need TLC. If you take good care of your DRV it will take care of you. I have had only a few interactions with DRV support. With that said, whenever I am in need of a part or have a question concerning a repair, I have been very pleased at the timeliness and professionalism of their team members. Show less

The overall construction so far is above most RV ‘s that I’ve owned. However this is a 2024 model and they have put a stereo system in it that has no remote so you must get up to change the sound for the tv surround sound in a cabinet that is 6’5” from the floor. Needless to say my wife is barely 5’tall. I’ve spoken with everyone I can at DRV to no avail . The simple fix is $110 from another source to have a tv sound as it should be in the current century. My wife and I enjoy the Snowbird life with our DRV Elite Suite. We spend summer at our home in New Mexico and 3 to 6 months in Texas during the winter. Our DRV has proven to be a comfortable and efficient home in the winter with temperatures as low as in the 20's at night and during the heavy Texas rain storms. The beautiful hardwood cabinets provide more than ample storage throughout the 5th wheel which is a priority for any experienced RV'er. We love the outside shades on the windows which keep the interior very comfortable without having to lower the solar shades or night shades. The automatic hydraulic leveling system works perfect and simplifies setting up. The reason we are selling our DRV is we have purchased a small home in TX and no longer have need of a 5th wheel. It was love at first site! We quickly felt the solid security this RV has with the quality of the craftsmanship. My only drawback was the accessibility of the high cabinets because I'm very short. So I simply made sure there was always a small folding step stool inside the RV for me to use. I would highly recommend a 2016 DRV MOBILE SUITES 36rssb3 because of its comfort inside, it's appearance inside and out and last but not least is because towing and setup are made easy. Three things this RV has that we're NOT on my "must have list" are the dishwasher, the washer and dryer and the Sleep number bed. Guess what will always be on my new "must have list"! Show less

We lived in this unit while relocating from the NW to the mid-west for 6-8 months. the unit was previously owned by a widow who used it for 6 months, then upgraded to a motor home. This unit is solid. Well insulated. Extremely user friendly. Comfortable in all weather conditions. it has all the amenities of an apartment on wheels. highly recommend the brand. Show less

We have been FullTiming since 2003 and finally had to go off the road. It’s been a wonderful life and we’ve made a lot of great friends. We started in a Teton then upgraded to a 2010 Mobile Suites and finally this 2017 Mobile Suites. We special ordered it so it has a lot of extras and we were lucky enough to be where we went to the factory every day as it was being built and checked everything out. It is a great unit and we hate selling it but it’s time. Show less

I moved into my unit not anticipating to live in it more than 1 year. Life circumstances happened and I decided to stay living in it. It’s been 8 years of full time RV life and I was very comfortable. This unit is a 4 season rig and a pre Thor build. Outside of normal maintenance, it’s been a great rig. DRV has been good about responding when I needed them. I went back to a sticks and brick home to be closer to my kids; and the unit is currently for sale. It’s in great shape! Show less

We have owned a out 12 or 13 rv's including bumper pull tt', 5th wheels and classic A Diesel rigs. We bought a 2021 Houston in December 2020. We actually got a decent deal on it. We had a 2017 Riverstone 39L just prior to buying the DRV. We had always viewed the DRV as the ultimate "keeper" for us. I was a licensed rv dealer as part of our rv park operation but after we sold out, we decided to step up to make our outings just a bit more enjoyable. The DRV has had more issues than I can name here. The initial stuff was addressed ok by a repair center in Kansas authorized to do warranty service but the more recent and expensive stuff has not been handled very well. I guess the fact that this is a "covid" rig may attribute to the quality issues. I would not buy a new DRV. I find a nice clean used one. The quality does not jusiltify the price. They used be the flag ships for 5th wheels but those days are gone. They are just another POS overpriced rv. Show less

I am a travel nurse and have been living full time on the road for 19 years. Most of those years were in a class A but we needed more space and decided we wanted a 5th wheel. We did research on which was the best 5th wheel for quality and livability and found that the DRV was second to New Horizons. We looked at both and quickly came to the conclusion that New Horizons was simply to heavy and we didn't want to have a 4 ton truck to pull it with. We have been very pleased with the DRV and haven't had any issues with it. The overall quality is better than what you will find in less expensive rigs. All RV's have issues from time to time but if your looking for quality materials and comfort then a DRV is a good choice. One tip: Don't buy any RV that doesn't have a fiberglass roof. Show less
