This Rv is only a few years old and over the weekend the frame broke apart on the highway. The frame broke above the rear axle and separated the leaf springs from the frame. Someone definitely could have been killed if we didnt have someone tell us that our rv was leaning over to one side when we pulled in for gas. We were 5 hours from home so had to pay almost $2000 to get it towed home. Checked the other side of the rv and the frame had started to crack in the same area as well. A frame repair company said the rv is totalled so trying to get insurance to total it out. In our short 6 months of ownership we also experienced a water leak from no caulking behind the master bedroom window, oven fan went out, ac wouldn't cycle once it reached operating temp, ac control panel stopped functioning, poor sealant for outdoor kitchen causing wood to rot and rear bumper welds broke from putting less than 100lb generator on it.

Replaced the floor and while we were at it got rid of the carpet that was in it. It also had a small leak under the bathroom sink and outdoor shower. I feel like any camper is going to leak though. No roof leaks so far though which is always a plus. It is very livable though and I can't complain too much about it. Would definitely recommend.

This is my 4th new RV, my husband's 1st. We wanted a couples trailer, one with plenty of storage and room for the two of us, our two small dogs, and occasional grandkids (and sometimes their parents). When we were searching for a camper (went on for a couple of years), I knew what I liked and didn't like from the three previous trailers I'd had with my ex (Wilderness, Nomad and Pilgrim bunkhouses). I had boxes that needed checked. Hubby knew he wanted a large bathroom and a few other things. This model checked off most of our boxes (with the exception of a roof ladder, but we bought a telescopic ladder that works good. Just more to pack along). When we walked in, we were wowed by the nice sized bathroom and storage in it. Then the walk in pantry (we added hooks on the back of the door for keys, leashes and flyswatter, and brackets for broom and mop on the wall). The living area with extra storage (which current models lack) was a plus. The fireplace was nice but didn't last (we contacted that company directly, and after switching out the board inside twice, and then receiving two different whole units, we got one that works as it should). We did receive one that works fine at adding extra heat and ambience. We did replace the sofa bed with a nice reclining loveseat and built a table to go beside it. Kitchen is good (I wanted stove and sink covers, and separate oven). When we got to the bedroom and the salesman said it had a king bed, my husband was sold (the two pups sleep with us and we have a king at home). It is heavy to lift up. We switched out the mattress for a much better one. Ours doesn't slide side to side like the newer models, and there's not as much room on the driver's side as their is the door side to walk in that area. The drawers and added cabinets in the corner are a nice touch. We added a tv, blackout curtains, and replaced an outlet for one to accommodate USB charging, also, beside the bed. The overall trailer is good. Did we have some issues with it? Yes. But I have with all four brand new trailers. Every trailer, no matter how much you pay for it or what the brand is, will have some issues coming straight from the factories. We just fixed the ones we could ourselves, and used the warranty for the bigger ones. We've had a few issues since but took care of those ourselves, too (replaced a bad inverter, had a water line going to the outside shower come loose under the shower/linen area and leaked in the trailer. We caught it early, so luckily no damage was done). These trailers get pulled over bumps and potholes, sometimes curbs, and things work loose. It's to be expected. And, honestly, all rv's are T.U.R.D.s. Things U Repair Daily, regardless of price or brand. But still we love them. We have done a lot of upgrading/personalizing to our Embrace: put a slide awning on, vent covers, replaced the sofa, put on 12-ply tires with a TPMS, added the back camera, keyless door lock, extra hooks, shelves and brackets, replaced the living room tv for a smart tv, put a smart tv in the bedroom, replaced a bedroom outlet for one with USB charging, also, added insulation boarding in the pass-thru storage area so the bed doesn't feel as cold/hot, replaced the mattress with a foam one, and many other projects. And we did most of these while camping because we cannot keep our trailer at home. It sits at a storage/rv repair shop in between camping trips. So, would I recommend this brand/model? Yes. The floorplan is a great one for couples who don't care about having a huge trailer just for two people. It is livable. Easy to pull. I don't like that the newer ones have less storage (over couch, refrigerator, tv, and no doors on the storage under the sink area) now. And from what I hear, craftsmanship on all brands is down after covid. But, as I said earlier, all will have some issues coming straight from the factory. Expect them. And expect some to come up after pulling/using the trailer. Just take care of it. Don't be unnecessarily rough with it. Grease the axles/bearings/upgrade the tires/check the battery water. Do the regular maintenance on it. This will help extend its life.

Oh no shut off valve for the water to the toilet or outside kitchen so have to shut off all water. The cupboards are falling apart and trim is sagging. You get what you pay for with affordable trailers I guess. My next one will not be with this company for sure

The RV has a great lay out but the workmanship is crap. This is the 3 trailer I have owned and the worst in quality. Every time we have used it some issue. 1) The main door steps were so out of square the door did not close completly you can see light on the bottom. The striker plate had to be shimmed out with 3 cut washers so it would latch. I had to take out the steps and put them in square, and then I was able to remove the washer shims. 2) The sliding king bed plastic rails were also put in out of square, so that when you would move it to on side it would pop out and when you got to the camp ground the cabinet was the only thing that kept it from falling off. 3) The cabinet door on the bottom were so out of square they would not close needed to drill new holes. 4) Water line at the pump leaked because the clamps were not tight. 5) One of the angles that holds the fresh water tank broke loose because the self drilling screws were not alinged with the cross member. Had to drain the tank till I got to a place where I could fix it. 6) The front, left side storage door would come open because in too was put in out of alingment. Had to remove the stop screw and adjust. 7) The stablizer jack breaker was install with only one screw, so when it was tightned, it moved so close to the hot terminal in the rain it burned out. Had to replace and installed it correctly. My worst trailer ever.

We purchased new in 2018 a Cruiser Stryker 2912. It worked well for us with the toy hauler section having lots of options for SxS or dirt bikes. Earlier this year, we noticed a soft spot in the floor toy hauler section. Turns out that a hole was drilled into the water tank on initial installation. The pilot hole was drilled too deep when the table holer cups were installed in the floor and a perfect 1/2" hole was drilled into the upper side of the frsh water tank. Mold, mildew, water damage to the entire floor area and rotted the floor over 4 years of travel between Arizona and Montana with water in the fresh water tank. We'd been using trailer heavy and fresh water had been splashing out of water tank onto underside of flooring for years which was unbeknown to us because of the insulated underbelly. We never saw any water leaking under camper to indicate a tank issue Contacted Cruiser RV for help with cost of repair on several occasions and was ignored. We told Cruiser rv the entire situation s well as gave them the contact information of the independant repair shop. So, while we love our toy hauler and use the heck out of it, we would not recommend using Cruiser RV as they do not stand behind their products. We had to pay 1000$ insurance deductable and lost use of rv for 4 months for repair.

We had purchased our RV shadow cruiser at bluedog rv in Troutdale ,oregon . I will start out saying it was the best service upfront me and my wife has ever had. Once we took it off the lot thats when it all went to crap. We had purchased our rv becuase i am disabled and it has everything that i need for me to be able to go camping. We started having problems with alot of basic little items like trim that was not tack up correctly our have of the trim not tacked at all, then parts of the wall was not properly tacked up as well, the bed was broke and slide back and forth, screws where stripped on the outside so I had to redo about half of them with bigger screws and I silicone them as to not have any problems.when we took it in to have the warranty work done they where nice upfront But they never completed there work and they left the trailor a mess and we also had grease hand prints all over inside the trailor.not once did they ever call use our return any calls as promised. We where the ones that had to call them to find out how things where going. Finally after talking to the finance manager, then the cruiser rep, we call the manufacturer in Idaho where the trailor was made. The are going to have to take it back to the factory to remove the hole side wall because the welds did not hold and the side wall and the back wall of the trailor is separating. The only person that ever returned our call and was able to help use was Ryan at Cruiser RV. IN Idaho. We have used our trailor one time for 5 days and it has been getting stuff fixed in it every since. We have currently had the trailor for three month's. It's will be at least another 2 our 3 months before we will be getting our trailor back from the cruiser rv factory in Idaho. This is where the trailor was originally made. This has been the WORST experience we have ever had after purchasing a RV.

I like that they use azdel and real plywood and believe this will help the life of the camper. The oversized heating and air systems work great.

Axelbearing-$2500 (dealer warranty covered except $450 shipping. 2. Axel bearing again. Caused by faulty electric brake system $3500 (covered by purchased warranty 3. Paneling not glued. Coming off is several places. Repaired it myself. 4. Vinyl roof was never glued down. Factory error. Mfg refused to repair it. $1800.00. Out of pocket 5. Wiring not properly secured under slide out. Poorly designed Holder hinge broke. Repaired it myself. 6. AC was not properly installed. I had to reseal the duct work inside the enclosure for the AC unit. The seals were non existent so the cold air was directed randomly above the ceiling. 7. Other things that broke, microwave, power vent fan, gas detector, water heater, stove burner igniter. The spare tire was mounted to hang 3-4” below the bumper. I made a new bracket to raise it and stop it from scraping on the ground I would rate the quality of this company as poor. The interior design is very good. The towing is great as long as the axels don’t burn up. The customer service is zero. The mfg warranty is zero. If you purchase this unit, count in spending an addition $2500 a year in repairs on the average. Definitely buy a good Sam extended warranty.
