The Triple E company who makes Leisure Travel Vans (LTV) is out of Canada and they make a superior product! They will still respond to our maintenance/repair questions 10 years later. Ours is a 2014 Unity model with the Twin Bed/King Bed floor plan. We love everything about it for 2 people. We have driven 35 and 40 foot Class A's motor homes and I must tell you we don't need to take everything with us on our trips. If you are staying for a month or more, you may want a big Class A. Because we like to move from city to city and park to park and not staying over 2 days to 1 week, we love this smaller RV with a Bigger feel. The ease of getting into national parks for camping (27 foot limit in most parks), gas stations, grocery shopping and even parking on the streets is so much easier than the larger Class A's. The ease of driving on residential streets, cities and freeways makes this the ideal RV for our type of traveling. This LTV UTB has more storage inside the RV than other newer Class B+ makes. The outside basement storage is also impressive because LTV has put many of the holding tanks, propane tank etc under the chassis so they don't occupy the valuable storage compartments. this model does not have a slide-out or leveling jacks which helps to reduce your overall GVW and increases you cargo carrying capacity, plus less things to break down. It has a macerating flush toilet instead of a gravity toilet. I have never had a problem dumping my black tank with this type of toilet like I had with the gravity model. The bathroom and shower is divided across the hall from each other, each with their own doors and the shower door also opens fully to divide off the bedroom from the rest of the RV for sleeping, dressing etc. It has a 600 watt inverter which is slightly under powered for modern appliances, but don't really use inverted power, but I guess if you have a CPAP machine it would help. We rely on the 12v house battery for lighting, furnace, water pump, fans etc. The house batteries are recharged by the 100 watt solar panel/inverter, the engine alternator, shore power battery charger or the generator. We use shore power or the LPG Generator for things like the microwave or air conditioning and Propane for the absorption refrigerator, which works really well! The 6 cylinder Bluetec Turbo Diesel has plenty of power, fully loaded going up passes, it is great along with the 5 speed transmission, its a pleasure to drive. My wife has no fear driving this rv. Not too many negatives except if you want to camp with 6 people.

Floorplan is livable and setting up is easy. The hydraulics work well so far but the self lever doesn't quite know where level is. The heater works. Both AC units have died, but even when they worked they couldn't put a dent in the high temperatures. It's like living in a soda can. Beware of the stairs because they both are faulty. One broke then a month later the other one did too. The first one almost killed me. Two of the four locks on the storage compartment doors don't work but maybe someone tried to break in, I dunno. There is a water leak somewhere and when I tried to see where it was coming from I could see the ducts under the floor and it, along with all the water and gas lines, look like a blind five year old put them in. Ducts are crushed and the water and gas lines look like spaghetti. Almost forgot, one of the awnings ,for no reason at all, just decided to let the material part go. I bought this thing brand new and it is the worst decision I have made since I was 20.

After four years of ownership and 50,000 miles of travel, I cannot say enough positive things about this van. The Mercedes platform and engine is just wonderful. It is super comfortable to drive for long distances and has very predictable handling, even in high cross wind situations. The 6-cylinder turbo diesel has ample power for highway speeds and hill climbing. The interior build quality is top grade as Leisure Travel Vans uses excellent components and thoughtfully and skillfully installs the cabinetry, plumbing and wiring. Some of the many design features that I really appreciate is there are no overhead cabinets above the driver and passenger seats, making it much easier to move from the driver’s area to the back of the van. I also appreciate how the integrated gray/black water dump tubing that tucks away hidden behind the driver’s side ground effects body skirt. When it is time to dump the tanks, the tubing just pulls out of the integrated container tube and stretches to the RV dump facility fitting. What may be a messy process with other RVs could not be cleaner or easier with the Free Spirit.

our trailer is a 2021 only three years old and we have experience trimmings falling off the walls the hot water tank leaking the furnace and heat goes on and off sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t -same with the air conditioner. Most recently my aunt slipped and fell, and the whole island fell over and the countertop broke. This trailer is so poorly and cheaply put together. I would not recommend it, and I will never buy another one. When I wrote a bad review, someone from Forest River had the nerve to call me and insinuate about the hot water tank that we may not have winterize it correctly instead of saying, what can we do to make this better poor Customer Service poor quality trailer never again in life

I purchased it privately when it was two years old. I was told the hot water tank had already been replaced. There are so many poor quality issues I don't know were to start. One of the biggest issues for me is the fact there is no insulation in the walls. My neighbors might as well be sitting in my unit as I can hear everything. Yes one A/C can't come close to cooling it. 85 outside 85 inside but no humidity. Close the drawers in the kitchen and you can still see the drawer slide ends . Cheap vent fans with small fans blades don't really exhaust any air. I can go on and on but you get the picture. I know most RVs are far from perfect but I definitely would never buy a Prime Time again. I could have gotten a much better built unit for the same price I paid. Looks good but that's it .

This tv has been a nightmare. Poor quality, the first year it spent 5 months at the dealer for repairs. The front has been sealed 3 times, twice by the dealer and once finally by family to remove three layers of caulk. It.s not a camper to be pulled hard or long distance. On the way home, the bathroom shelf fell off. At the 4 year mark the strap holding the fresh water tank broke: tanks were empty at the time. The bath room counter trim is shrinking and pulling off in the curve. The outside outlet has stopped working after a year. The only positive is the easy setup and dual axel with no slides that I wanted for convenience .

The 80 inch sofa has a fold out bed. This unit includes theater seating with cupholders and charging stations in its console. we have had no major issues with issue unit and I’m not sure what the other negative comments are except maybe lack of experience in maintaining an RV. This particular RV has suited our family well for two years. We are ready to downsize. And pass it on to the next family who will enjoy it as much as we have. This is our sixth RV, all purchased new from various manufacturers and we have yet to own one that didn’t require minor maintenance such as tightening screws and checking that sink drains are tight. This is part of owning an RV.
