The 2509S has many features packed in a smaller package. The Queen Murphy bed makes it easy to use the available space for either sitting or sleeping. The bunks provide sleeping space for 4 since they are double bunks, and the kitchen table folds down to a bed as well. There is plenty of space for 2 adults and 6 kids, or 8 adults who can cozy up. Or you can sleep 5 adults very comfortably. The towing is smooth with dual axles and electric brakes. The heavy trailer doesn't feel that way behind the tow vehicle with a proper equalizer hitch. With the off-grid options, this trailer can stay out for a week easily. The solar quickly charges the batteries, and the batteries have enough power to keep things running at night. With the max air fans, the need for AC is almost non-existent, especially at night.

This camper is our first camper and we absolutely love it. It’s lightweight, and it is built to be light weight. You have to take care of these campers. If you want a better quality camper thats made with better quality then your gonna pay more and they will be a lot heavier. Even then you can’t be ruff housing in it. When the kids come in they have to simmer down and show some discipline.

The floor plan is great BUT, we have spent literally thousands of dollars in repairs since. The this RV is a money pit! Repairs so far. Main AC unit, replacement of Awning Hoses in Bathroom under the shower stall, in the kitchen and had to replace the water heater. Leaks in main bedroom. Had the furnace worked n twice and it still won’t stay in. Now the slide out will not come in. It’s always something and nothing cheap to repair. If I could pick this thing up and throw it back to Ri reside, I would. Arrrgggghhhh

Excellent build quality, well designed floor plan, top tier appliances, plenty of storage areas and drawers, queen size bed, built-in internal and outdoor speakers, outdoor kitchen with cast iron gridle and refrigerator, solar panel and inverter, easy to tow with a large SUV, there is just so much great features in such a compact travel trailer! Additionally, the trailer is backed by a two-year bumper to hitch factory warranty, that speaks by itself to the quality workmanship of KZ!

It’s a step up from a Coleman. Very disappointing when our camper was delivered. Poor finishing touches. Kinda cheap inside after you look closer to it. Our stove never worked from first trip out. No way you can take it off grid. There is no power to it. On day two the fridge drains your battery. The heater insulation melted and the heater was full of water. Crack in the side camper wall happened after first use. Good luck trying to get customer service on the phone. There is not enough power to run the camper fridge alone by itself. We have two lithium batters and the fridge drains it. We honestly don’t think they even put insulation in the walls. I wish I can get my money back. I feel so ripped off!

Upgrading to larger model due to retirement. Will only shop for rockwood. Although they are under the Forrest River brand. Rockwood/flagstaff was original company purchased by Warren Buffet many years ago. All other F/R products are built elsewhere in the country, but rockwood trailers are still made in original factory.

Travel 210 miles on I -95 south carolina with a bottled water on floor in middle of unit. Still standing at destination. Have owned since new august 2023 & have had zero issues. Our Fifth camper, first rockwwod. Before purchasing , spoke to 6-8 owners of different rockwood models. All indicated they would only purchase a rockwood in the future. Same here.
