We purchased our Lance 1985 in Feb 2025 and have lived out of it for the past nine months. The trailer is very well built, rock solid. The updated acrylic windows are amazing and do not require protective covers like the old glass front window. The tri-five propane tanks combined with the Truma Eco AC/heat and water heater system allow us to go for nearly a month before refills in the summer and well over three weeks even in colder months when we remember to turn off the water heater when not in use. Our 1985 came with the fold down queen/ couch combo and while the couch is comfortable we chose to upgrade the folding mattress for the added comfort and leave to couch in the folded position. The standard 6” folding mattress is fine for a few days but not for long term sleeping. We prefer to sit in the slide out both so the couch is really not needed. The stock 32” flatscreen TV was quickly replaced by a different brand with more features and viewing options. The trailer does not have speakers throughout but instead uses a JBL Aura mounted below the TV system with a smaller portable Bluetooth Flip 5 which is more than enough for us. There are JBL speaker mounts inside the door and on the outside near the rear curbside. All three tanks are 40 gallon which allow for extended dry camping stays. The solar system was originally 190watt with two 100amp hour AGM batteries from the dealer who installed it incorrectly and caused issues with the tow vehicle but was easily fixed once the cause was traced out. It has since been replaced by 400watts in two panels and 200amp hour Lithium Batteries. The solar on the side can handle an additional 20amp solar input. A separate Victron solar controller was installed in the curb side battery box just for peace of mind. The bathroom drawers are open to the water heater compartment directly below them. Minor safety concerns there as items can bounce out of the drawers into the large compartment below and allow odors from the water heater/heater combo to enter the trailer area during the break in period. Burnt plastic… Like most trailers of this size the kitchen has limited counter space but is easy to work with using the sink insert covers and folding extension. As the dinette is directly behind the cook area it allows me to dirty twice the area in half the time. The 7.5cubic foot refrigerator/freezer is perfectly sized. Cabinet space above and below are more than ample for kitchen items and food storage. The trailer probably has more storage than any comparable trailer for its size and the best part is, it has the weight capacity to actually allow you to use every square inch of it with weight to spare. That being said, the two hanger half closets at the bed area and the half hanging closet in the bath area are useless for us tall people and were quickly converted to shelves. This doubled if not tripled their usefulness. Got off to a rough start with the solar wiring issue, the dealership was worthless but the Lance engineers returned my email and call in just a few days, sending schematics and list of items for me to check. Heard nothing but bad things from everyone but I am delighted by their service. All in all? Very pricey trailer, still cheaper than an air stream and I am actually happier with this purchase than I think I would be with an airstream. Love the floor plan better. The build quality seems to be the same if not better in some areas. Small annoying items like the sliding bathroom door smacking around during travel and coming off the rails was a simple $5.00 fix. Old style cabinet latches were swapped out for 10lb magnetic pulls for $20 and now stay closed. 9 out of 10! Catch them on sale! You won’t regret it. Every trailer has issues, most are minor. Get over it, we did, that’s why they come with warranties. Show less

Lance quality and reliability, future proof enough to still be relevant in the 202x's. Will go anywhere and stays comfortable year round from below 0 to over 100 degrees. Fridge and AC work better than most new RVs. Slide topper and awnings make for an extended footprint and great base camp rig. Show less

We have owned our Lance 1575 travel trailer for 5 years now. We have not experienced a single issue with it. Incredibly well constructed as well as 4 seasons capable. This Lance has everything you need in a very small package. The large U shaped dinette slides out to provide a very open feeling. This dinette contains tons of storage beneath it inside and out. The queen sized bed is actually queen sized so that you can fit any queen mattress on it. We have not replaced the one that came with the Lance as we have been very comfortable sleeping on it. The kitchen features a full sized oven as well as a microwave and enough counter space for our coffee maker. Plenty of storage space for the kitchen and cooking items. The Lance 1575 also contains a dry bath with a pretty large shower/ bath for such a small space. At only 20 1/2 feet tip to tongue and weighing 3500 pounds, it tows very smoothly with our Honda Ridgeline. Quality craftsmanship inside and out. We love our Lance! Show less

This is an older camper with very little use that has been a total piece of crap since the day I bought it. If this is quality material in construction of this cheap as possible construction,Lance is full of shit! Material to construct the seating at the table started flaking off chunks of the plastic from the material after one year. Refrigerator needed replaced after a couple years after very little use. Air conditioner broke. Heater broke. Outrigger broke. Edge of table cuts into your arms when sitting at the table. Toilet plumbing leaked after second outing. Gauges to indicate water, black water and grey water are not accurate. Heater broke. All this with very little use!! Blinds don’t work. Window valances fell off. For what I paid for this piece of shit, I expected alot better quantity since Lance uses quality as a featured selling point. NEVER BUY A CAMPER FROM LANCE!!!!!! Show less

Worse trailer I have ever had. Poor quality inside. Rear window rubber seal came off. Locks not strong enough to keep drawers closed during travels. Gas Range burners keep coming apart. Furnace has never worked properly. Leaky water furnace. Radio stopped working, had to be replaced. I bought the trailer brand new, it has been in the shop 4 times now in less than a year. I dont know if other model Lance trailers have had the same problems I have encountered. If you are looking for a travel trailer, I suggest you stay away from this model. Show less

Bought A Lance Camper brand new , took it out once to discover all the problems with it. The workmanship and quality control from Lance is horrible! It’s all warranty, however it’s been at the dealer for a month, long story short I bought a brand new camper that was not usable they took my money and sent me out with a POS .So here I sit with no camper waiting for them to fix their problems I’ll never buy another Lance ever again. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice shame on me. Show less

Overall our Lance 1995 is very well constructed. We have experienced a few issues with trim falling off including the baseboard at the bottom of the dinette slide. We had to have a refrigerator replaced due to my leaving the refrigerator door open when I retracted the dinette slide and cracking the interior of the refrigerator. It was difficult to get hold of the factory to schedule replacement of the refrigerator. I didn't trust the dealer to do the job. But once the service was scheduled at the factory they did a good job replacing the refrigerator even fabricating a new trim piece because the refrigerator was a slightly different form factor. The Lance 1575 is a great example of how you can pack a lot into a smaller space without feeling cramped. The layout is really well thought out, making the most of every bit of room. Like floor plan love all the windows poor quality workmanship 1 window is already compermized the backslash of stove over is rippled some of the floor is ripped the riferater door broke 2 years after we brought bathroom sink has been had to been replaced twice blackout shades have all come apart water pump is not working Show less

We absolutely LOVE the layout of this trailer. The kitchen island is very handy with extra counter space and storage that utilizes space well. The electric fireplace is a really nice feature that actually gives off heat. Towing is made much easier with the included anti-sway bar and hitch. The upgraded bigger tires and heavy duty axles provide extra clearance. Show less
