We bought this coach after selling our home. We split our time between locations that included this RV. The layout is amazing and very comfortable for two people and a pet. You can have privacy, but you can also entertain comfortably. We added a dishwasher in the spacious kitchen and a washer/dryer in the bedroom, making all the difference. Regardless of the season, the Arctic package made it comfortable, and the quality of the construction gave us confidence that we were safe. We never had issues with towing or the weather. The windows and in-kitchen dining overlooking the living room made it feel like you were watching sports at a stadium. We set up two offices, and that worked great! We would keep it, but we're headed to our next adventure by boat!

I purchased a grand design imagine 2600 in April 2021. And and as soon as the warranty expired the thing started falling apart. Several weather stripping issues, I’ve replaced the water heater twice, several pex hoses have come apart. And since the pipes are sealed in the walls I’ve had to do some major repairs myself. The heater made it two years before it stopped working. It’s safe to say I regret buying this trailer. On a scale of 1-10. It’s a generous 2

It’s been in the shop as long as it’s been out., leaking shower twice, brakes locking up while driving, then no brake pads on one side. We have been battling Grand design the whole way. Our “customer service “ rep, LElizabeth Rock, has been aloof, or just ignores us. We hear from her when we file BBB complaints. We’ve had 2 so far. Going to the AG in Indiana next. DONT BUY A GRAND DESIGN! The customer service stops when you sign the contract.

Not even a year it fell again. More money to fix it. This time the tech put angle iron under it to hold it up. So far that worked. But he left it open under there to come back and check on it. Good thing because every now and then it leaks just a little. Now that’s not even all of it. The smell is horrible. We have tried everything we can to keep the smell down. We have to flush the tank every three days. My bath room closet always smells. The only thing that hasn’t been checked is the vent. Needless to say, I will never buy a Grand Design trailer. So disappointed in this trailer. Grand design is supposed to be the top of the line. Never again

Bought my trailer new in 2023. Since then it has been in the shop for almost 7 months, and now they want me to come pick it up without a clear expectation of when the work is to be done to start fixing the cabinet thermofoil problem. All the thermofoil on the cabinet stiles are delaminating and GD and the manufacturer of the stiles are debating who’s at fault. I don’t care who’s fault it is as my warranty is through GD not their subcontractors. They claim on their website that warranty approval is completed within 24 hours. . . . really? Where is my customer service? Furthermore, I’ve been told the trailer may have to go back to the factory for this work. Seriously, when do you think I’ll see that trailer again??

This is our second Grand Design Solitude. Our experience with Grand Design customer service after the sale has been fantastic. This is not the dealers unfortunately but we all know the dealer service departments leave a lot to be desired. Every RV has issues, in my book it is how the manufacture handles those issues. Grand Design has been top A++ We are getting ready to order our third Grand Design Solitude all due to the fantastic service we have received. Thank you Grand Design for being the best RV Manufacture in my opinion.

We bought this brand new in 21 two weeks after arriving from the factory. This is the only rv we’ve ever owned and nothing but good things to say about it. Never had a single issue with it, both ac’s runs strong, never had any leaks refrigerator runs like champ. We also lived in it full time for 2 years with zero complaints. All of the extras this rv came with made it even more of a home run with fully electric self leveling stabilizers to app controllable awning, lights and stabilizers. I wouldn’t have bought any other rv. This rv is great for anyone starting the rv life or a veteran of rv life looking for a more upgraded unit.

We bought a brand new 2022 Grand Design Momentum 395 MS in June 2022. We shortly started having issues with everything. The door couldn't be shut unless you slam it. The garage door and track broke. We weren't able to use the patio or entrance at all. The sewer line cracked and started leaking. (Not during winter months). The wall separating the garage from living room separated from the ceiling. The walls were coming apart in the bedroom. The furnace would not turn on in the middle of the night unless I got up and turned it on manually every one-two hours. We had the ignitor board fixed. This only worked for a couple of weeks and then we started having the same issue again. We took it into Bish's where it sat for 5 months while they tried to fix everything. They ended up replacing the entire furnace and everything else. The ceiling immediately separated again. The oven ignitor went out and the entire oven had to be replaced. After another couple of weeks the furnace started doing the same thing. We had the motherboard replaced and the command center. The ignitor board went out again and had to be replaced. We had to replace the female power outlet to connect to power. We soon discovered that the water system is completely defective and started leaking after 20+ hours of repairs we finally stopped the leaking. Due to the tubing and clamp job they did during manufacturing the entire water system needs to be relined and redone. The lines in the shower need to be redone requiring the walls to be removed. The lines underneath the sink all need to be fixed as well. We fixed the propane regulator finally fixing the furnace issue during the night. After 3 months of infrequent use of the BRAND NEW furnace the motor burned out again. The entire venting system is not correctly done. Per the Suburban manual we are supposed to have 4.4 vents we barely have 3 and that was after fixing the 4 inch vent we had the one in the kitchen opened out more because it was never completely opened during manufacturing and occluded approximately 85%. The foam seal was blocking the air flow we were only receiving 1 x 1.5 in of air flow through a 4 inch duct. In order to prevent the motor from continuing to burn out we need to add another 4 inch and 1.5 in vent. We use this 5th wheel for work. We are unable to leave it anywhere for very long without winterizing it because since the furnace won’t work everything will freeze. This is a defective unit. Since the duct system is a preexisting issue NWAN will not cover these expenses. The faulty duct system is causing the motor in the furnace to burn out and it only takes a couple of uses of the furnace to burn it out. The issues with this camper has disrupted our work, displaced my family, and has cost us thousands of dollars in repairs on top of traveling, hotels, loss of food. We are not new to 5th wheels, this being our third. We wanted the Grand Design because it is marketed as a high-quality top of the line product. We are grossly dissatisfied with Grand Design and their customer service team. We have called and are told they are unable to disclose any information about our claim only the agent can. I have sent two emails since 1/4/2024 and have not received any responses. We have already spoken to the dealership. We don't think us eating $35,000 + is fair for a defective product Grand Design manufactured. We are defeated and done. Our family is separated and displaced. The issues are never ending, we feel like we finally get everything fixed and the next day it’s something else. We don’t want this camper anymore or any other camper that Grand Design has touched.
