We purchased a highland ridge toy hauler in August 2023, First time we took it out the plumbing under the kitchen sink leaked. My husband fixed it, Had it out for a day, The 2nd time we went camping I went to load up the refrigerator with food. It didn't work, My husband found out the battery was bad, hoping to fix the problem he purchased a new battery. ( Mind you the trailer was only a year old at the time. $200.00 for a new battery) The guy at advanced auto said to him this battery is not new, its a 2020 battery, So in other words someone had switched batteries. My husband put the new battery in hoping the fridge would work, IT DIDNT!!! We took it with a few coolers in hand. Long story short, we took our first shower in the camper. Water started pouring under the bathroom sink. Then he went to let out the black and gray water, Water started pouring out under the camper itself. This camper should be considered under the lemon law!!!It has shotty workmanship to say the least. I would NOT recommend a Highland ridge to anyone. Its a 30,000 piece of crap!!! Show less

We purchased this RV 2022 at a dealership in Memphis TN which went bankrupt and they lost the information on our purchase. They couldn't help us on warranty. My husband had more knowledge on trailers than I did. This Trailer very nice at first until the nightmare that this trailer has had it's not worth getting and Steven called it the covid trailer, The manufacturer did a cheap and crappy job putting it together. Having problems with the springs and trucks having cracks and rust. Needing to weld them back together on a very dangerous highway, no help. Now having to replace the truck, sucks. To old and sick to fix it. The adder needs replaced for the bottom part of it where the screws are cracked the metal and lost the bottom part of it. Sewage issues and had to replace the parts, that's nasty. Leaking of air conditioning vents. Replacing the TV because of the TV mount coming unscrewed during transport. So basically, there's a lot to fix and lots of money to spend on this trailer for having it for only 2 years. Can't wait to get rid of it. Show less

For the time we have had this Rv we have enjoyed it. Due to my husband’s health we need to sell it A great Rv for a couple. Has comfortable theater seats that you could actually sleep in if you wanted to. There is a queen size bed in the back. Full side slide behind driver’s seat Easy to drive, no need to tow a vehicle. Great Rv to go cross country with. Has full paint & a fiberglass roof. Just had it detailed - washed & ceramic waxed. Show less

Overall we loved it at first but then the problems started. First we had two blowouts. First one there was no damage . Second one destroyed wheel wells and side of camper . Took to a tire shop and they referred to the manufacturer installed tires as China bombs . Just overall cheap tires. Replaced with 4 new better quality tires and no problem since. Second problem was doors kept coming off tracks . Next we went to install solar display in area where they put sticker only to find once we cut wall open they had installed pvc vent in same area. We also have had several problems with the awnings working when they want . Last major problem is soft spots in living room and master bedroom making it not being able to use. Will have to tear everything out to make repairs. Camper is not worth the money. Show less

Worst camper ever! No where to sit except the dinette, uncomfortable. Bathroom sink is in the main area near the kitchen. Who wants to get ready essentially the kitchen? AC runs non stop, cannot hear the TV. The TV is as soon as you walk in the door, odd placement. And finally, our camper had a soft floor. Tracing the leal, it led to the exterior electrical box, it was not sealed. Water ran off the drip at the top, into the unsealed (oversized) hole under the cabinet and ran under the threshold. Taking the drawer out revealed the oversized hole, extremely large hole and the trash left from construction. Don't fall for the quality control, it is not there. I purchased this RV used in 2021. It was a nice style, and I liked the Retro look. I got the teal/greenish color with the black and white checkered flooring inside. Everything looked great except whoever had it before me must had had something heavy on the bed that fell over when they were towing it because the floor next to the bed below the window was all scraped up and had been curling apart. The dealer made an effort to glue it back down, but I had to put a small rug on top to cover it. After the very first trip where I was parked in the shade, the plastic material on both seats started flaking and coming apart all over the seat and back rest. I had to cover the seats with a blanket while on my trip to keep them from getting worse and getting material all over the floor. After I got home and removed the blankets, they were covered in plastic seat material. Very, very poor quality. Instead of spending a ton of money to have it fixed, I opted for seat covers I got on Amazon. Also, I had attached some Command strips on the wall to hold a couple of pictures because I didn't want to put any holes in the wall. I wanted to change where the pictures hung and when I attempted to remove the Command strips, the wall finish came off with it! Not good! I am going to be taking it out again soon and I'm not crazy about the quality of it now. I can only wonder what will fall apart next. Show less

After a year of research and waiting for the build, we finally picked up our new Coach House Platinum IV 271XL. After the first 1,000 miles I can tell you that our expectations have been surpassed. This is reflected in the commitment and energy that the whole staff showed as we took delivery over multiple days to ensure everything was tested and fixed before we left the Florida-based factory. From the owner, to the sales rep, to the production foreman, to the RV technicians, all were accessible and provided great service. I left with the confidence that I will continue to be able to ask questions as we learn our rig and overcome our "newbie" experience level. Bought the riverside rv 2023 xplorer 511x last year. Worst decision ever. The quality check department was locked in the break room for the entirety of the assembly. The warranty for such a pricey item is a complete joke! Customer service will be asking you how YOU fixed the issue. Right off the bat we had issues with the electrical, with the battery connections (wouldnt hold a charge), then with the radio (which is now no longer Bluetooth capable) the rack though it appears solid is very thin & flexible and too high to reach without a ladder. The inside accents are one by one coming undone due to cheap glue and the kitchen floor ended up flooding underneath because nobody bothered to check the hose connections before sending it out. Warranty offered us $150 for us to repair the water-swollen wood in the kitchen ourselves. Now, after taking it out of its 1st winter storage we find a bubble of water underneath the trailer in-between the floor & the insulation. So far customer service solution to nearly every problem has been 'glue & paint'. The fenders were held on by silicone and came off. I despair at how much $ I will lose in the sale because I won't be able to lie to the buyer about what an absolute design-disaster this is. It's too late for me. Save yourself!! Show less

This rig is a beast ! the finition is perfect, the equipment that as been used is 1st quality. We went to adventure with it and this beast can go anywhere, anytime. You can live in it many days without shore power, thanks to the lithium batteries bank and solar panels ! Show less

This is or second RV. We bought our 1st RV because we had an older dog we would not leave or board. So we decided to take a 2 day trip and take Hershey with us. The 1st RV was a gas burner and an inexpensive way to start but we found we loved the camping experience. After 2 years that RV began to delam in the walls and we knew we must trade. We knew we wanted a bigger shower and a more heavy RV. The gas burner bumped and road walked as it road so we chose a diesel. Our RV building had a 12 ft door opening so we needed an RV under 12 ft tall. We found this National Tropical and we loved it from the start. The shower was big and the water flow excellent. The cabinets were well built and was very stable on the road. Everything about this RV was so much nicer than we had experienced before. It was consistent and we had and still have confidence in this RV. We had a couple in our town sell their RV as he felt he no longer could drive. We decided to look at it as my husband had eye surgery and this RV had side cameras to help our senior self. We just put our items in the 3rd RV last week and I can tell you a couple of things I will miss from this National RV we have for sale. This RV has a cupboard of sorts by the refrigerator. It has about 5-6 pull out baskets that are wonderful for the foods. It also has a linen closet for towels and blankets and extra pillows. Our 3rd doesn't have either of these features and I miss them already. The slides work perfectly but if you part somewhere and do not want to put the out you can still walk the entire way from front to back easily. In the 3rd RV we bought we can not. So as far as floor plan and comfort this National tropical is excellent. We have really enjoyed this RV and we hope someone else will love it as much as we do. Show less
