The 2020 to 2023 models are built much much cheaper quality and cost more than double in price. We like our 2016 SS 550 but would not purchase the 2023 even for $10k

We paid $55k for a huge headache.

We searched for the perfect travel trailer for several years, and, this was the perfect unit! Spacious kitchen located in the front of the rv, offering lots of counter space. Full size refrigerator/freezer. The large window in the kitchen allows you to view beautiful scenery, while making a meal.
The bedroom is in the rear with its own slide-out. This offers plenty of head room and space. Great for people that are tall, or, are claustrophobic. Plenty of privacy, as there is a separate door from the bedroom to the bathroom/shower. Also, your own entrance/exit door off of the bedroom outdoors. Lots of closet, drawer, and storage space throughout. Tv is located directly in front of dual recliners, so, you aren’t watching at an angle. Nice outdoor kitchen with an awning that covers dual entrance/exit doors. Screens on the doors offer a pass through for handing utensils/supplies to the person cooking outdoors.
Towing is a breeze. We have a Chevy 1500 Silverado that pulls it just fine, even with all of our gear. We think it was designed well.

Hello,
I just spoke with Jerald Summey about my outstanding warranty claim. I received the worst customer service. Jerald was rude and short when discussing my warranty claim. Obviously his job is to deny claims, which he does well. I have multiple cosmetic issues with my Palomini that I'd like fixed and Jerald denied them all. You certainly are going to lose a customer and I will begin letting everyone I know not to choose Palomino or Forest River for their next camper purchase. I thought I was purchasing a quality camper and did so at a quality price. I am very dissapointed in my experience with this camper and your customer service/warranty department. I plan to litter the internet with negative reviews, advising folks to stay away from Palomino and Forest River.

I bought this camper new last June. Health issues intervened and I've decided to sell it.
Inspecting it I discovered that the bathroom door had warped-- it was an inch out of line, causing the door to hit the trim at the corner and the latch did not hit the striker.
I contacted the dealer and they said it would be covered under warranty, bring them the door and lots of pictures. I took pictures, removed the door and drove 2 hours to the dealership in my small truck (big truck was working out of state) to show them the door and pictures only to be told that the pictures had to be taken with THEIR camera.
So I drove home with bad door. Haven't heard reply to my email to Palomino asking why my pics weren't acceptable.
(Just having them ship me a replacement door would run about $200 according to the parts guy at the dealership; I'm a woodworker and would just make a better door if I were keeping it.)
One other problem-- the support jacks are mounted to stick outside the body of the camper which means they block the sight lines of my Chevy 2500HD extendable rear-view mirrors. I was planning on moving the jacks (simple side-to-side swap) so they were inside the sight lines but I'm selling it because of my health.

That took 3 try’s finally a new window was ordered. It seems everything in this camper had to be fixed. This was a brand new camper. The last time it was in the shop it was there from Nov. 9th to Feb. it was there 4 months. I have asked Forest River to extend my warranty due to the fact I haven’t really used it. They refuse to talk to me about it. As much as the camper cost you would think you would get better customer service. I will never own another Forest River product. They are a joke and don’t act like they want to stand behind there product. My warranty is about up and I will be stuck with a camper that I hope is kinda fixed.
