We received a followup from Grace Newman, Owner Relations Manager of EAST TO WEST manufacturing wrt to the grey water tanks from the shower and the bathroom sink draining into the black water tank which means that the black water tank needs to be emptied daily instead of weekly with any other trailer. Hence you can't camp in a provincial park or honey bee service park without sewer hook up unless you want to not use your bathroom at all. The bathroom was the sell of this trailer to us and no one at the dealership or nowhere in the write up of this trailer did it state that the grey water, except for the kitchen sink, drains into the black waste tank. The P traps also don't work well enough to stop the sewage smell from the black tank from coming up in the bathroom. Here is Grace's response: " Grace Newman 5:41 AM (6 hours ago) to me Good morning, While we understand it is inconvenient to have to empty out the black tank more frequently, this is not a manufacturing defect as it is per design. Again, if you would like to have the plumbing changed, you may, however it will not be covered by us." I DON'T RECOMMEND EAST TO WEST TRAILERS FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO BUY ONE. THIS IS MY FIFTH TRAILER AND I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH A BOUGHT IT NOW ITS YOUR PROBLEM MANUFACTURER NOR WITH SUCH DISREGARD AFTER PAYING OVER $36000 FOR THIS TRAILER. IT IS CRAP, LITERALLY BECAUSE THE BLACK WATER TANK IS ALL THIS TRAILER HAS AND IT IS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH BLACK AND GREY WATER. YOU HAVE TO USE THE TRAILER AT A FULL SITE SERVICE ONLY THAT ENABLES YOU TO DUMP IT DAILY OR TWICE DAILY. POOR/SHODDY MANUFACTURING, POOR DESIGN, POOR QUALITY, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY EAST TO WEST PUTS THEIR SHODDY DESIGN PROBLEMS ONTO THE CUSTOMER SO EAST TO WEST IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

🚨Warning: Major Design Flaws & Zero Accountability from East to West RV re Della Terra 220RBLE🚨 A Useless Plumbing System That Ruins Travel: When purchasing the East to West Della Terra, I expected quality and functionality for its price over $36000. Instead, I discovered a serious plumbing flaw that makes this trailer nearly impossible to use outside of full hookup campsites. Here’s the fundamental problem: # The shower and bathroom sink drain into the black tank instead of the grey tank. # Only the kitchen sink is connected to the grey tank. # This means the black tank fills daily—even with just two occupants—forcing frequent, inconvenient dumps. # The bathroom smells constantly because the plumbing traps don’t stop odors from escaping. # You must run the kitchen sink for an hour just to get enough water in the grey tank to flush the sewer hose properly. 🔴 If you're planning to camp anywhere without a sewer connection, forget it—this trailer IS a complete logistical nightmare. Deceptive Sales Practices & Zero Transparency: At no point during the purchasing process was I informed of this plumbing setup. Had I known, I would have never purchased this trailer. My previous Wilderness RV had a standard plumbing layout that allowed us to camp for an entire week without worrying about tanks filling too quickly. When I reached out to East to West RV, hoping for a resolution, their OWNER/RELATIONS MANAGER EAST TO WEST, GRACE NEWMAN, sent this DISMISSIVE RESPONSE: "Good morning, The unit is plumbed this way per design as it allows for the specific layout of the unit to be achieved. If you would like to have the plumbing changed, you may, however, it will not be covered by us as this is not a defect." Not only did they refuse to acknowledge the issue, but they also ignored my follow-up email, in which I explained how this plumbing setup makes the trailer functionally useless for many RV travelers. East to West RV Does NOT Stand Behind Its Products This trailer cost over $36,000, yet East to West is washing their hands of responsibility. Their lack of customer service, poor design choices, and refusal to fix a critical usability issue that EAST TO WEST CARES about PROFIT than QUALITY or CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. ✅ If you’re considering an East to West RV, DON’T BUY ONE. ✅ Ask detailed questions before purchasing ANY trailer—especially about plumbing. ✅ East to West does NOT stand behind their product, so don’t expect any help if you run into issues. If you're looking for an RV that is actually usable in real-world camping situations, look elsewhere—because THIS MANUFACTURER, EAST TO WEST DOESN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR BAD DESIGN CHOICES DONE TO MAKE THEM PROFITS AND IS A WASTE OF YOUR GOOD MONEY. 🚐⚠

Plenty golf counter space makes it nice for preparing meals inside, however we bring a table to set up outside to do most of our work, prepare being outside when camping. A lot of exterior storage space as well. Fits folding chairs, outdoor rug, cook stove, games, fishing equipment and more. Features exterior kitchen as well. Love having a refrigerator outside so it's not necessary to keep going in and out, helps keep flys out!

As I'm reading reviews while searching for our next RV, I decided it would be worthwhile to share our experience with our current camper. New to the camping world, we purchased our first trailer in 2021- a brand new Alta 2600KRB. We did extensive research on these and this floorplan with the giant rear bathroom was scarce to say the least. We took a chance on a covid model and apparently got an absolute gem compared to some of the others we've heard stories about. Our only experience utilizing the factory warranty was when the solar panel controller fried our battery, which we were later told was wired incorrectly from the factory. One of the LED nosecap lights was dead when we bought it, but we used it so infrequently that we chose to ignore that until the battery issue necessitated involving the manufacturer. East to West gave us no problems getting the battery replaced and wiring corrected, as well as replacing the nose cap light. Our refrigerator also failed, but it was after the 1 year warranty expired. Home Depot makes a residential that looks identical and fits in the exact footprint of the original, for about 1/4 the cost. Its been in there working flawlessly for the last 3 years now. We also replaced the china bomb tires with Goodyear Endurances the first chance we got. They just looked and felt cheap, but we were lucky enough to experience no blowouts in the 1200ish miles we had them before we could replace. In the nearly 4 years of ownership and 6500+ miles we have towed this trailer, these are the only issues we have experienced. Owning an RV requires a general understanding of the hurricane-like violence that the unit goes through everytime you drag it down the highyway and expecting to need to tack trim pieces back on every once in a while, or tighten a fitting here and there. We made this purchase expecting to see some quality issues based on the other reviews of covid-made units, but have been more than pleasantly surprised. We are now looking to upgrade to a 5th wheel for the extra space needed for longer/farther trips, and based on our experience with our Alta, we are looking at East to West 5th wheel options first.

This trailer hits the sweet spot in terms of space and functionality. The queen-sized bed is comfortable, with ample storage around it, and the large windows provide great natural light. The living area is spacious enough for lounging and eating, with a convertible couch and dinette. The TV is perfectly placed for viewing from both, and the air conditioning and heating system kept me comfortable year-round. The kitchen offers enough counter space for cooking, and the appliances (fridge, stove, oven, microwave) are well-suited for preparing meals. The bathroom is compact but functional, with a decent-sized shower and storage for toiletries. The 26KRB proved to be a reliable home on wheels. The trailer tows easily, even in windy conditions, and the construction feels solid. The axles and suspension have held up well, and the exterior still looks great. The electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems performed flawlessly. The air conditioning is efficient, the furnace keeps me warm in winter, and the hot water heater works without a hitch. Towing it with a half-ton truck was no problem; it tracked well on the road. The brakes, tires, and bearings have all been reliable. After using the trailer for roughly 6-8 months, I can confidently recommend the 2020 Silver Lake 26KRB to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and practical travel trailer. It's a well-built unit that balances comfort and functionality without breaking the bank. Whether you’re a solo traveler or a couple, the layout is perfect for long stays. It’s not the most luxurious RV out there, but it offers everything you need to live comfortably on the road. The reliability and low maintenance make it a great option for full-time RVers or anyone planning extended stays.
