So, I purchased this trailer in August of 2021. It was absolutely what my wife and I were looking for. The floor plan was perfect! After about three years we noticed a hump on the floor near the slide. After some investigation, we found that the elbow on the outdoor shower was leaking. I fixed it myself and forgot about it. In 2025, the floor got much worse. After pealing the whole living room floor back, I found that it was ruined. Please note that I found this two months after the warranty ran out…. So I reluctantly replaced the floor myself. It took two months to dry out as it was very extensive. After completion I was very happy with the work I put into it. That is until now… it is now 2026. I just found it is still leaking near and around the slide. $40,000 for a pile of junk??? I have had many rv’s. Including trailers, motorhomes and campers. This, by far, is the WORSt tv I have ever purchased, new or used.

I always had Montanas Bought this new Used 2 weeks before lost wife Srove slid out bring home smashed glass they replaced but I had to pay $500 for installation. When CamOne circuit had a broken wire no power. in a receptial. When camping world replaced the stove they lost my electric cord they gave me a used one. Kiction door wouldn't stay shut. Said they fixed it When I opened the slide out it caught the open door ruined it and slide does not come all the way out now. They sent me a new door. Refrigerator doesn't work. Wire behind TV connection striped like it was pulled off. Water is dripping outside under the kitchen sink. Only used 2 weekends until this year 2025. What a hunk of sxxt I would say stay away from any of their products. Oh the warranty. They said we gave you a stove that's all we going to do.

We had a Winnebago View for several years but switched to a 2025 Entegra Qwest SE 24R due to its warranty and affordability. We are very pleased with it except for one thing. The gray tank is so small we are constantly dumping every couple of days when we stay at RV parks. And when we stay at state parks with no sewer connections you have to unhook and drive the RV to a dump station which is a Royal PIA. Here’s a quick fix for future models. Most people don’t boondock and yet most RV are designed to accommodate boondocking. Stop making the fresh water tank larger than the grey water tank! I travel with many rv groups and almost none of my friends ever boondock. But we do stay in state and national parks all the time. Most of us never even use our fresh water tanks. I’d be afraid to use it thinking it might have tons of bacteria in there since it’s never used. So the fresh water tank takes up way more room and it not being used. Please start designing your RVs for the way people use them and stop catering to the small minority of people who boondock.

Would I buy it again? Mixed, but lean towards no! I’ve owned a Winnebago Travato since July 2023. Overall, it’s been a good van in terms of layout and concept, but ownership has come with more friction than I expected—especially once the warranty period ended. WHAT'S GOOD! The layout is excellent. It’s one of the best-designed van interiors out there, and the lithium battery system in place of a generator is a big win. Quiet, efficient, and well-suited for how many people actually use these vans. When things work, the Travato is comfortable, functional, and easy to live with. Early ownership experience: The first year to year-and-a-half involved several issues, which is fairly typical for RVs. Warranty work was handled by NIRV in Las Vegas and, to their credit, they typically did a solid job addressing problems that came up. That said, it was still a fair amount of downtime and coordination during what should be the “honeymoon” period. Manufacturer support (the real issue): Winnebago’s responsiveness has been very slow, and once the warranty expired, support became almost non-existent. Parts availability and clear guidance are a real problem. Requests often go unanswered or lead nowhere, and there’s very little ownership support once you’re out of warranty. Chassis / RAM dealer warning: Be aware that many RAM dealers are reluctant to perform warranty work on the vehicle side. Several dealers consider the van “altered” once Winnebago has done their conversion, which can lead to denied or delayed service even for legitimate chassis-related issues. This can be frustrating and time-consuming. **Important warning about windows / parts support: One major concern prospective buyers should know about: a factory-installed side window failed on my van after about three years. I discovered that both Winnebago and the window manufacturer no longer supply replacement parts for that window. The only manufacturer-supported solution is a full window replacement, which is extremely expensive—even though the window itself is otherwise fine and only small components failed. There is no clear interim safety guidance and no reasonable repair path using original parts. This is a serious planning and support failure, and something buyers should factor in, especially given the cost of the vehicle. Bottom line... the Travato is a well-designed van with a great layout and modern electrical system, but ownership requires patience and a tolerance for poor post-warranty support. If you’re comfortable handling issues yourself, navigating parts shortages, and advocating hard for service, it can still be a good rig. If you expect strong manufacturer backing long-term, be cautious and go in with eyes open.

We have thoroughly enjoyed this RV and the lifestyle it provides. With four slide outs and two air conditioner units, it is prepared for any life experiences you may have for it. Featuring bunkbeds, it is uniquely suited for a large family or can double as extra closet space when not needed for the kids. It has been meticously maintained, with yearly visits to Tiffin headquarters in Red Bay Alabama. New upholstery throughout, with steel wheels and new tires. From sea to shining sea, this is the RV!
