We had bought an rv and a camper with bates. The employees Cass and Colton took care of us and were wonderful. In September we gave our camper to Bates to sell on consignment because we moved to Indiana. Little did we know he let go his employees, changed his business strategy and left us out to dry. When we looked on the web page, our camper wasn’t even there, so how could he sell it. We either had to move our camper or start paying him 200/month and then by chance if it sold we would pay 3,000 consignment fee. We chose to move it. When Gernzey came to get it, the LP tanks were missing, the shower hose was missing, the battery was dead, and the working fireplace was no longer working…to the tune of 1600. Frank is a scam artist and when approached about the tanks he said it wasn’t his responsibility. If you are a buyer/seller, stay away from Bates Rv. It is not what it appears. Cass and Colton were the only thing that made it a legit company. Now it is just a scam. Show less
