Very disappointed in quality. A friend bought the same thing he only has a few issues. I would like Winnebago to repair this properly. Because we do like it.

Dealer said would have to get permission from winnebago to get parts then obtain parts... Still waiting on that.. Looks great, mercades runs great, coach 100 degrees in this florida sun... What a piece of junk...

My husband and I recently purchased a brand new Winnebago Micro Minnie 2225RL. It is without a doubt one of the most poorly manufactured products we've ever purchased. We've already had numerous problems with plumbing leaks causing water damage, leaking slideout, damaged slide track, broken water heater, a cabinet door that fell off, the bedroom door fell off, the sofa doesn't stay in the locked position when moving, the refrigerator door handle broke off, the smoke alarm went out, one of the overhead lights went out, the sink drain leaked into the cabinet and today I got a recall notice about the faulty spare tire mount. The customer service rep we spoke to at Winnebago was not helpful at all and took my information and told me her supervisor would be in touch with me. A month went by before we were contacted again. Taking people's hard earned money in exchange for a piece of garbage like this should be against the law and Winnebago should be ashamed!

Love the floor plan, lots of storage and it is easy to tow. But 2nd time we used it the slide out broke, the radio quit, awing motor would not stop, tv didn't work. Got back from repair after 5 months, (our entire summer) took it out the next spring, heater quit, hot water didn't work, leaked water around slide out, Tongue light switch broken, two recalls on the trailer for spare tire and solar panels. Took back to repair got back after 6 weeks. Hot water still didn't work and still leaks. Called Winnebago and all they could say about the water leak was, are you keeping up on caulking Maintenace? I explained it had been in the shop and they had just fixed, and new caulking was installed around the slide out in October it leaked in April. They blamed the leak on us. Terrible customer service from Winnebago. They also referred us to a non-authorized dealer to fix the water heater so we would have to pay instead of repairing it under the warranty.

This is the second RV I have owned recently, I had an Imagine Grand Design 2800BH prior to buying this Winnebago. They are the same year. Layout is similar but the Imagine uses the space a little more effectively. The big difference is in build quality. The Winnebago doesn’t fail to surprise me with just how cheaply and poorly it is built. Almost everyday I use it, it has a new and exciting problem for me to address. The water lines are a cheap Chinese knockoff thread re-enforced PEX type tubing, and if you spring a leak (which you will!) they are a real PIA to fix as PEX rings are just a hair too small to fit, and clamps lead to more leaks! The stabilizer are junky, and fail one after the other, the floor squeaks and flexes (even with the stabilizers dow) and the overall feel of this Winnebago is just cheap and worrisome. I am pretty sure Winnebago is short for Winne Bag O **** !

We purchased this 26RBSS brand new in 2018 because we loved the floorpan. However, after only a few weeks the unit developed a SEVERE water leak from the front cap. It leaked into both closets in the bedroom, dripped all over the new mattress we bought for the unit, and filled the basement compartments with several inches of water. After a lot of back and forth with WINNEBAGO we discovered that none of their units are warrantied against water leaks! There is a known defect with the attachment adhesives and caulks that were used for this unit and most of them leak. After haggling back and forth with the dealership and the warranty department they finally fixed the unit (they kept it for 4 months). We got it back and all seemed ok until we had a bad rain storm and it leaked again! This time mold developed in the walls and closets. The overall quality and of this unit is terrible. Trim pieces fall off, the bathroom door was only attached with small wood screws that were not designed for that load, the list goes on and on. We will never buy another Winnebago product. Buyer beware.

Despite seeing a few negative reviews, I decided to buy a Winnibago Micro Minnie. It had several things I wanted: dual axles, queen size bed and a large slideout. My mistake! In the first 10 months of ownership I've had to do, or have done, 12 repairs. These include five water leaks (they had failed to glue the pvc drain pipe sections together), replacement of a defective water pump, repair of the furnace, repeated repair of loose or broken stovetop fittings, drawer slide failure, entryway handrail failure because of stripped screws, two factory recalls and, most recently, failure of the slideout system with significant damage to the wall of the RV where screws holding the slideout frame were pulled out. This last failure happened in the middle of a cross country trip, leaving us to live with the narrow aisle between the closed slideout and the fixed interior cabinetry. As for warranty service; Winnebago only gives you the name of a local dealer and leaves it for you to make an appointment (usually in a few weeks) to get the repair done. Not terribly useful if you are on the road! Winnebago never again.
