We have owned two different Fleetwood RVs - one Bounder and one Pace Arrow. The Winnebago Adventurer is tighter, doesn't rattle, more features, better quality, and overall just a better RV than either one of the Fleetwood products. I would recommend the Winnebago RV over a Fleetwood RV hands down. We have had very few mechanical problems, and the ones we had were minor. We are very happy with our Winnebago motor home. Great product, and reliablity.

We experience problems with the slide out on day one. Back and forth to shop multiple times over two years and still not right. Took the rv to another shop and had full system replaced with the Vroom slide. Everything works great now except Winnebago does not want to cover the cost even though it never worked to begin with. Beware of Winnebago!

Purchasing this 2015 Winnebago 36Y Motorhome was a big mistake! From day one, I've had electrical problems ! The first day my leveling jacks blew a fuse. I purchased this motorhome in August of 2018. It is now June of 2019. Both of my air conditioners won't work. My washer/dryer stopped working. My ignition system is hit, or miss. and my awnings won't work. This Motorhome has been an electrical time bomb ! Luckily I purchased the ultimate warranty. We'll see if this situation is covered. I'm not going to hold my breath ! I now have to wait two months for the Winnebago repair people in Mocksville North Carolina to attempt to fix these problems. It's Hotter than Hell here, and I have to wait two months ! I passed dissatisfied long ago ! I'll never buy any Winnebago product again !

This is our 4th Newmar (Bay Star, Canyon Star, Ventana) and now another Ventana. Canyon Star (gas) at 40 feet just didn’t have enough power for our needs. Had a few minor problems but all fixed on the rigs but we have talked to lots of folks over the last 15 years on the road and every brand has their share of problems. There is not a brand out there without issues. Some are production problems, some like a/c units are model problems and some are definitely owner caused problems. We have not had problems with getting it serviced but we did have a service writer that did not listen to us (twice,)but you will find that anywhere. Yes, next one will probably be a Newmar unless Winnebago management ruins the company. Yes, we have friends that swear by their Winnebago Horizons and others that swear at them!

We bought the Winnebago 2401RG for the floor plane and thinking this camper would have the same quality as the older 2007 Winnebago we had. We have had numerous issues from a water leak under the kitchen sink to outside trim coming off going down the road. Only one level gage is working the dealership has not been able to fix. Main door latch was misaligned and the blind keeps falling out, another problem the dealership has not been able to fix. We might not have had so many problems with a different dealership.

This is the first new motorhome bought in March 2004. We have had nothing but problems since 36,000 miles. Needed a turbo. Then another turbo. In all 4 turbos. Cummins paid for 3. Last one was $5000 on us. Winnebago was absolutely no help at all. Man in Iowa just hung his head and said there was nothing they could do. This was after the 2nd turbo. The only help we got was from the dealer in Georgia who gave us the name of the man at Cummins. Thank God for him. We are now trying to find someone to buy it. We will not lie to anyone about the problems we have had. Good luck to us. We will never buy a Winnebago.

We owned a 2021 Airstream Classic 30' for approximately one year. It has not been the quality we expected. We owned a Winnebago View prior to buying the new Airstream. Much better quality, basically no problems ever with the Winnebago. The Airstream problems we had included: sink separated from countertop on first trip - fell 4" into lower cabinet, water problems, leaks, AC problems including sensors, CZONE issues, solar power display problems, light fixture literally fell from the ceiling, foot rest recliner bracket broke, ceiling blinds came unhooked from the ceiling, vent fan above the cooktop motor went out, door issues, and more. I would like to say we only took one out of state trip (that we had to cut short due to the sink problem) and never boon docked - no dirt roads or bumpy roads ever. We had to cancel scheduled trips due to a poor service department in our area and cut trips short (the few we took) due to issues with the Airstream. It was a constant problem that we finally got tired of and just sold. We will likely get another RV in the coming years, but it will not be an Airstream. Their quality on new rigs was just so poor.

Update: Mercedes Benz totally rapes it's customers on service work. The two times I took it if for service cost me $1600 and $1200. BOTH times I had problems created by sloppy workmanship. Once the mechanic spilled diesel over the engine, we thought it was on fire after leaving the dealership. The second time it just stopped running after leaving the dealership. The mechanic had left off a hose clamp to the fuel line at the fuel filter. This was two different dealerships 150 miles apart. Guess this is the Mercedes way. Mercedes Benz will never service my vehicle again!! Winnebago dropped the ball on a faulty water pump. The dealer took care of the repairs. The floor has since gone soft (possibly from the leaky water pump?) and Winnebago refused to assist in any way. In my earlier post I mentioned the three regulators on the propane tank, Winnebago finally sent me the correct regulator (the one I kept telling the dealers that Winnebago recommended) and I installed it myself, uncovering two errors made by one dealer or the other in past installations. What does it take to get a quality vehicle and a manufacturer that will stand behind it's product?

My husband and I recently purchased a brand new Winnebago Micro Minnie 2225RL. It is without a doubt one of the most poorly manufactured products we've ever purchased. We've already had numerous problems with plumbing leaks causing water damage, leaking slideout, damaged slide track, broken water heater, a cabinet door that fell off, the bedroom door fell off, the sofa doesn't stay in the locked position when moving, the refrigerator door handle broke off, the smoke alarm went out, one of the overhead lights went out, the sink drain leaked into the cabinet and today I got a recall notice about the faulty spare tire mount. The customer service rep we spoke to at Winnebago was not helpful at all and took my information and told me her supervisor would be in touch with me. A month went by before we were contacted again. Taking people's hard earned money in exchange for a piece of garbage like this should be against the law and Winnebago should be ashamed!
