Overall pleased with construction & interior wood features, abundant storage inside & out, floor plan, the things over which manufacturer VanLeigh has direct control. Their Customer Svc response during that first year was simply outstanding, but with the issues surrounding conditions of components manufactured by others arose, their assistance dropped off. The OEM TripLite inverter burned up the residential Samsung refrigerator twice. Within 2 yrs of my purchase date, VanLeigh had changed to a different inverter manufacturer (obviously aware of the issues with TripLite) but charged me to change out the TripLite to Magnum), in addition to Samsung refusing to cover the damages. There were other issues that I would have hoped VanLeigh could have been of greater assistance. Customers have to understand that all manufacturers have to include all the features customers want these days, but then the units have to be relatively light & built to withstand a “virtual tornado during an earthquake” while in tow; some things will not do well for long with those circumstances, but I feel that I probably had fewer problems with a VanLeigh manufactured product (with its Tiffin related history of quality) than some other producer.

We've had our 5th wheel now since 2019. When it was built great attention was paid to quality control. Around 2020, I think things started to go downhill a bit with Vanleigh & they started to cheap out on cabinetry (plastic vs. wood), components & workmanship! We feel really fortunate to have had this experience with this unit as nothing major has ever gone wrong. Even before we beefed up the suspension, it pulled like a dream. There's about 19K miles on it & no problems at all except for cosmetic furniture breakdown which happens in all RVs that have a particular faux leather but that is not a fault of Vanleigh. Great service center in Tishomingo MS too! We will miss vacationing around in our little apartment on wheels.

Amazing layout and fulltime livability! It's a beautiful fifth wheel with more than enough storage.
I can not say enough about the customer service of VanLeigh RV’s. My wife and I saw our first Beacon at Lazy days in January of 2019. We fell in love with the high gloss cabinetry, finish, and high end features other fifth wheels lacked. We realize there are very few “Top of the Line,” fifth wheel manufacturers. Mobile Suites comes to mind, but we were not nearly as impressed with their product as that offered by VanLeigh. We sold our fifth wheel in June 2019 and purchased a Beacon 40FLB. We initially had some issues, most of which were caused by the independent service tech setting up the camper, but there were some other issues directly attributable to the manufacturing process. As everyone suggested we contacted VanLeigh’s Customer service department and told them about the items we were having difficulty with. They got us in touch with Bryan Powers. Bryan did an amazing job, taking care of issues on the road. We needed a mobile tech to come out and fix a stuck slide. Bryan insured VanLeigh covered that issue. Additionally he set us up with their service center in Tishomingo MS to address the other things that needed fixing. It took two trips to Tishomingo to fix all our issues, but it seems we have an outstanding camper now.
I felt that some of the issues that cropped up were quality control issues in the manufacturing process so I contacted Leigh Tiffin directly. He answered my email on a Saturday and called me on a Sunday to get my input, and to ask what else needed to be accomplished to insure we were happy with the camper. What other executive takes time out to answer concerns of their customer, more importantly who does so on a weekend? To say the least my wife and I are very impressed. We are exceedingly happy with our Beacon even though our initial experience was frustrating. Their customer service department is incredible and the executives at VanLeigh are second to none!!!
Although problems are rare, If you do have a problem with your product do yourself and VanLeigh a favor, contact their service department. You will not be disappointed…

We bought the Vilano because Vanleigh is part of the Tiffin family RV company. The after market service is the best we have found in the RV industry and we have been RVing for over 40 years.
Our Vilano is in excellent condition and has had no problems or damage. It became necessary for us to buy a brick and mortar home as our 97 year old mother needs full time care.

We bought a 2016 Allegro Bus 40 AP in 2019. We loved everything about it. If anything needed to be fixed ( and there were only little things) we took it back to the factory in Red Bay, Al. You got the best treatment at the factory and were treated like royalty even with a used one. Tiffin is the absolute best because of their customer service. My husband could call a tech anytime he had a problem and they were quick to help him. It is well worth the trip to Alabama if you have problems with local dealers. You will not be disappointed with the treatment there. We took ours back a second time to just get it serviced and Aqua hot serviced.
We owned 3 5th wheels with the last 5th wheel being a Vilano Vanleigh by Tiffin. This is why we stayed with Tiffin. Same great service with the Vilano as with the bus. You will never go wrong with a Tiffin.

We brought a brand new Vilano in Feb 2021 to full tome RV in. We brought it home and it had problems from the start. The heat and ac was supposed to be 3 zone, but all three sensors are in the same place, water pipes were not tight and leaked, tank sensors didn’t work, CO detector did not work, window frames were dented, ice maker was leaking, furnace doesn’t actually heat the living space, and more from the beginning. When summer began I started not feeling well. My doctor had me hire a mold inspection company and the AC units are full of mold because the manufacturer left a ton of wood shavings in the ac and air ducts. The water heat has mold on the insulation because the exterior access was not sealed and water probably got in at the dealer since we kept the trailer covered. The trailer is no longer usable. I contacted vanleigh and heard nothing back. We spent over $10,000 on inspection and have to move to an apartment now. This destroyed my health.

I bought my Beacon in January 2022 and have had nothing but problems since. It spent two months back at a dealership getting repairs done which have been fair to sub par and things just keep falling apart. The unit does not hold up with being towed and things just keep breaking. The cabinets were very poorly built and installed, and have literally fallen from their mounts, including the microwave. One of the sinks in the master bath fell from its mount, the entire master vanity came loose from the wall, the roof leaked due to the skylight, the shower leaks, shades have fallen, the seems in the walls are coming unstapled( yes they were attached with very small flimsy staples), and the walls seem to ooze new sawdust with every move. I looked at countless RV’s before trading in my bumper pull to the VanLeigh 5th wheel and heard about what great workmanship the company was known for. I have been nothing but disappointed and wish that I had gone with the Solitude.

A beautiful, nice towing, piece of junk.
We spent 165k on this, expecting a high end 5h wheel, with very few if any problems, but it's making me feel very stupid for listening to the salesman, who told us all about how Vanleigh was top of the line and, how the company's main concern was quality, with the best furniture and appliances.
I don't know why these RV companies use Furrion TV's and appliances, they are garbage period!
I don't know anything about Franklin furniture for houses, but the junk they gave us is NOT comfortable.
Where did they get the people who assembled this 5th wheel?! The shelf in the bathroom was upside down, the wall behind the sink was not attached or sealed!
Screws are falling out, I expect the walls to fall off any time! One of the slides in the living room has been stuck in since October! I had to go to Tucson RV to get an apt. for Jan 17th! They shipped the parts to the wrong RV dealer, then they didn't do anything for 2 weeks, then sent them on, and it was for the wrong slide!
These people don't know how to make a RV, and are complete idiots!
BIG TIP: DO NOT BUY A NEW RV! Unfortunately, I've spoke with owners of other brands, and they all have a lot of problems for the first 5 years.
Buy a cheap travel trailer, at least you'll get what you expect.

We were brand new to the industry and studied nearly all manufacturers and all the various modes of transportation and after 2 years of extensive search we chose this Rv. We had this one built to our specifications and chose to load it with everything they offered and added solar panels and a 30 amp pass through inverter for boondocking. We also chose the gas refrigerator and the booth dinette, light color cabinets, and the best part they let us design the outside colors of the Rv and at that time free of charge. We did this during Covid when not many were buying and before the price hike.
About 3 on this in we noticed some imperfections and called to set up an appointment for warranty work and scheduled it for the 11 th month of ownership. We did not have many problems really and everything was taken care of at the factory at Tishamingo Mississippi. They were excellent. They allowed us to enter the bay for 3 full days. We had to leave during the day as they worked on it and sleep there at night. We had electricity and water. They only work on Vanleigh
5 th wheels so they are very well versed and know everything about them. They were excellent. The biggest problem we had up to here was the Dometic refrigerator. But that was a Dometic nightmare and not their fault. My husband and I went to
Red Bay Alabama which is nearby, to a Tiffin tour (they own Vanleigh), and spoke to Mr. Tiffin, his son and so on and they did get me a new refrigerator. Long story. Now we have used it for another 6 months since almost full time and it has been wonderful. I would not trade for anything else even if you showed me a larger much more expensive anything. It is a surprise when we don’t get complements on the color and it truly has everything we need to travel full time without it being too big to get around. There is a huge pantry, 2 TVs one for my husband and one for me. I like to lay down watching tv on the large couch and sometimes fall asleep on it. The island is great to prepare meals and I have even made pies. It has a slide in gas stove and large oven which I use every day. The microwave is my breadbox. The booth dinette has padded cushions ,no need to mess with it when we move, and has a lot of storage. There are so many cabinets I always have some that are empty for souvenirs. We have used the 3 air conditioners and the heat pumps often. They work great. We also have used the gas heater and it warms up fast in there. The fireplace was also awesome to take the chill out of the place. Love the multiplex electrical system. As soon as I walk in we set it as the main is there. So easy to check on everything. I love love love the amber glaze cabinets. They are real, light in color, and one can see laborious to manufacture, But the results are perfection with the soft close and lit cabinets inside. We chose a dishwasher which took us a long time to figure out how to use it and it is still kinda hard to understand. It beeped for months and drove me crazy. Also the spinner comes undone often after traveling so a must check each time. Leaning the tv was a challenge but necessary. I think they should leave a note on it as to setting it with the Wineguard. Simplistic once you know. Took 3 months before we finally asked someone to show us. It was easy, wrote it down and used every time we moved. This was important. My husband had to learn the exterior connections and his only complaint is that the gauges don’t work they always say full and blink no mater what we have tried. But all the connections are convenient. We did get some quick connects and purchased extensions for electric and dog bones for 30 amp campgrounds and so on. It cost us about 3000 dollars for all the miscellaneous things needed to run the Rv seamlessly and cautiously. We love the double pane windows because it allows us to shut them when it is noisy outside and lets us sleep. Also keeps the temp inside longer without drafts. We did purchase a Berkeley water filtration system because I am neurotic about drinking pure filtered water even though we had a filter on the Rv. The generator works well and can be started inside. We purchased 3 battleborn lithium batteries with heaters that are fantastic. Expensive but work great. We also had to purchase a truck and after much deliberation and speaking to those who had one we decided on the f450 ford Lauriet. In the most difficult meanderings it was strong, and absolutely dependable. We even pulled our rig straight up the Shenandoah campground 1.5 miles into the clouds. I was scared but there were no issues. 450 verses 350 cost was minimal difference and the turning radius is impressive. I see people with a lot of problems with their Rv. We are sooo satisfied and would do it all over again. No regrets. Traveling is fun…
