The purchase of a thor quantum motor-home has been the worst mistake of my life i have owned it for 5 months and has been in the shop 4 times all for electrical issues ,had almost 300 mile on it when i took possession and it now has only 900 miles we camped in it 1 time and every time we have wanted to use it we have had problems ,contacted thor motor coach today and i was given no satisfaction in fact rodney the thor rep. My complaints were not that sever and i should let the dealership take care of the warranty issues ,we purchased this vehicle to take to texas for the winter ,bottom line i don't trust in to get me there and back ,i want a replacement or my money back . Thor Motor Coach ranks LESS THAN ZERO stars in my opinion. I just hung up on a man who had indicating that he IS THE WARRANTY department before proceeding to deflect and blow smoke up his own ass with his ridiculous levels of excuses. My wife and I recently purchased a 2022 31ft Thor Quantum with a Ford 350 Chassis. From the very day we purchased it the refrigerator and freezer unit has not worked among others. I have had my dealership send out their mobile techs 3 times now to attempt to resolve the issue the third being today! My dealership has been on top of the matter and is now attempting to do what they can to solve the issue. In the meantime, my service tech suggested that I call Thor to attempt to reason an alternative solution out so we can finally correct our problem and so that we can finally have an operative unit. When I called Thor and spoke to the "man" in the warranty department it was clear from the beginning that all of his defenses were in place. Perhaps because they receive so many complaints that they have become numb about any customer issues. I started my conversation very reasonably and simply requested that they swap out the unit for one that works. Instead, he provided every reason why they cannot do that without first receiving approval from their vendor WHICH requires a litmus test of items that can take weeks or months to work through. This guy was such an asshole that because of him we will NEVER work with Thor again EVER! Not one thing he said provided any customer service solutions but rather deflecting and just passing the problem onto someone else. ZERO accountability and certainly LESS THAN ZERO customer service and/or support. If I were the owner of Thor I would fire his ass immediately! If I could have pulled him through my phone to kick his ass I would have. My recommendation, do not buy a Thor unit because they will not stand behind their product and only will deflect and run from the problem. Respectfully, Rick S. Show less

My new Thor Quantum has not disappointed me. There were bugs initially but had good service and not too long a wait for parts to get things fixed on warranty, even in the midst of COVID, when it was hard to get any supplies. I love the two slide outs, vinyl wood floors, cabinet pull outs, king size bed, beautiful maple kitchen cabinetry, window treatments and shades, spacious storage in and outside, the V10 Ford workhorse motor and I am a Chevy girl , the beautiful gray, black and white graphic exterior design, a full awning, the oven my necessity and all the other luxury Coach amenities including porcelain toilet! This RV is the perfect size, is a pleasure to drive, park and maneuver even when towing VW beetle behind. Sometimes my partner and I fight over who gets to drive. Thor’s customer service has been excellent with good follow up and answering questions. Ford has also backed their product well and I have been more than pleased with their service. Would I purchase another Thor product absolutely just not from the dealership I bought mine from. First they sold the rig with the VIN # I had put money down on, the salesperson refused to come talk to me to discuss what they had done and believe I was spitting nails, they offered another but had a different salesman show it to me said they had sold mine a couple of hours earlier, then there was a piece of wood that was cracked and needed to be fixed, it was not cleaned up, it was suppose to have a TV put in the bedroom and that needed to be done, there service was god awful and there was no manager on site to talk to but you could call him, they were not accommodating and took forever to do the paperwork for which I had an appointment of 12:30 but they took everyone else before me….I was the last one in the dealership and finally finished a little passed 6:00. Never will I ever buy from Tampa General RV or General RV again and I will make sure no one I know does either! What a joke. Show less
