Had a Dutch Star with absolutely no problems. Bought a 2018 King Aire and have the same wall slide problem as the other reviewer had. Our driver’s side slide also would pop out an inch or two while traveling. That was scary but we seem to have gotten that resolved.Seems like this is an ongoing problem as our RV is two years newer than the previous reviewer. We have also had Electrical issues, and some quality issues. We are going to the Newmar factory later this month for repairs.

It drives fine but have had nothing but electrical problems. Had a water leak in the shower that had to be fixed. The radio and backup camera quit working. The generator interminately starts. Hydraulic Jack's don't always function.drivers window won't open. Bed above the front seats won't operate half the time. Headlights aren't installed right from the factory. Drawers wont shut and latch on 2 drawers. This has about 5500 miles and beautiful inside but not functioning right so not even usable. This all happened after my wife died. Tryed calling the dealer and they would do nothing. Called factory and they said it was up to the dealer. No one will help do anything. So here is an extra nice rv just sitting.

Purchased new 2/2014 - out of the 1120 days we have owned it the trailer has been at the dealer for warranty repairs 206 days. Terrible craftsmanship from the factory. The paint is now turning white and Primetime refuses to fix it. A customer service rep at Primetime admitted to me that Primetime knew of the paint problem with their vendor but will not repaint the rigs that are now having paint problems. Our RV is definitely a lemon. We've had problems with the fender skirt, the rubber gaskets, the jacks, the slides, holding tanks, water pump, electrical outlets, ceiling falling down in the closet and that's just to name a few. Do your research before buying anything by Primetime.

This camper has been one problem after another. Factory installed slide topper too low and was collecting water and had to be replaced . First letter received stated that they couldn’t be out in the rain. So slide outs have to be retracted when it rains meaning you can’t use the rv. They did finally fix this after the dealership fought them on it and they put a metal strip over the holes on the side of the camper and again had to insist that this was unsatisfactory for a brand new rv. They finally fixed this after months of back and forth. During this time the fireplace would over heat and shut down causing a hot electrical smell. Took it back 3 times to get this looked at and after the 4th trip they replaced the fireplace. Seemed that an electrical fire was not a priority for them to fix. Rear and front jack lights don’t work, after it was taken to the dealer to fix. While having our tv for the winter the did fix the holes in the slide and when I picked up the rv in the spring the roof had leaked in a couple of different places and cause water damage in the roof. It was confirmed that it was faulty worn from the factory. We have missed a couple of trips and have lost deposits and non refundable camping sites. Because of the need to tow my rv during the winter months we are now seeing rust on the leveling arms also. We have tried to work with Forest River for months on getting this worked out and their answer is to ship our rv to Indiana this fall and replace the entire roof. Today we are experiencing more electrical issues of gfi outlets randomly tripping with nothing plugged into them. We asked to have the RV replaced serval times and Forest River will not entertain the conversation even though I have stated that the level of water damage is bound to cause future problems and that this is clearly an rv that was poorly made and will continue to have problems.

Our previous class-b was a fantastic Great West Van and the Galleria 24FL floorplan was the closest to the GWV. We ordered our new van at a rv show and was told it would be 6-8 weeks. After an 8 month wait, it was delivered from the factory with numerous problems, including a burned out awning controller and missing bed cushion. After refusing delivery for a month, nothing was repaired, so we took delivery and had to fix all the problems ourselves. Nine months later, the Galleria was totaled due to an electrical fire in the 12-volt wiring cabinet while sitting in storage. Coachmen made promises to get us back on the road quickly but failed to fulfill any of their promises or compensate us on our losses.

Nothing but a disappointment. The trouble started on the first trip over 3 years ago, and has not stopped yet. We have had problems with slide rooms not opening or closing since day one, and have not been resolved. The hot water heater fell out driving down the road. Cabinets have fallen off the walls. Several electrical issues have presented themselves. The Leveling system has started having issues since a recall was performed last month. We have taken our RV back to Jayco's factory three times, and all three times it has come back unrepaired, with more problems than it originally left with. We have had multiple roof leaks, mostly from things that come loose from the factory using self tapping fasteners. The fresh water system continues to have new leaks where the fittings come loose. Jayco's craftsmanship is the absolute worst I have ever seen. We have never made a successful trip, where the camper did not need to return to a repair facility after being used. Don't walk away from a Jayco, RUN AWAY.

The RV has spent as much time in the dealers repair shop as my garage. The first year I owned it the only milage I got on it was driving back and forth to the dealer. Several defects were repaired under warranty. Problems continued, after the one year warranty expired the dealership found a factory defect in the installation of the refrigerator , a slow leak in the water line attached to the ice maker After agreeing with the dealership to repairing it under warranty they now are arguing with dealership over shop hour required to fix the damage caused by the water leak. The RV has been withe dealership since April 26th, with over 20 request to Forester Rivers warranty repair repair representative M.Janokowski the only reply is "Auth. still in request status-RMK" Since I have owned the RV I have been only able to take to trips with it, the last one without able to use the onboard water system. Numerous problems with the slide, electrical systems, a mattress that was installed backwards to hide the fact it did not fit the pedestal are only of few of the problems with this RV and Forest Rivers customer service.

Purchased a 28 DBS Backcountry 2024 in August 2023. I had the 1000 watts of solar panelsfactory installed. I added additional solar with lithium batteries. The solar panels never worked right on the factory solar chargers. The installed solar chargers were some off brand Chinese model with no way to monitor the performance of the solar panels. Ugraded the system with Victron MPPT solar chargers. Still would not work right. Discovered that there were broken and loose connections at the solar panels. Three panels had this problem. Repaired the broken connections and upon moving the trailer the voltage problems resurfaced indicating some sort of electrical short. We had the panels completed rewired which ended up solving the problem. I used an independent repair shop to repair the problem. The repairs cost me $1,300. Recommendation - don't buy the solar panels from the factory. Have a reputable third party do the Lithium and solar panel install. We use Auer's RV in Georgetown, Texas and they did an excellent job. Highly recommend them.

I bought a 2020 Thor Axis 24.1 on 1/3/20. Because of problems at RV One Dealership in Casselberry, FL I did not take possession of the RV until 3/21/20. I have been trying to get this brand new RV fixed since May of 2020. I paid over $94,000 by the time I got out of that terrible RV One Dealership. Absolutely nothing has been done other than a breaker switch being reset. I haven't even been able to use the vehicle yet because of all the problems. Two of the major problems are that the generator ran for twenty minutes and quit. I took it to RV One and they couldn't fix it so I had to find another place. They found that a brand new Cummins Onan generator with 0.7 hours run time has a bad fuel pump. What makes it worse is that the fuel pump is on backorder with none to be found in the world. More than likely there should be a recall on this certain generator because probably there are many with defective fuel pumps. The second major problem with this RV is an electrical problem that completely drains the house batteries. RV One said it was just a breaker switch and reset. When I picked it up the first time they not only to reset a breaker switch but also had to replace a fuse. Fuses don't blow and breaker switches don't pop just because they feel like it. So henceforth there's an electrical problem somewhere. There are many other problems with this RV: Broken license plate light housing from aggressive installation at the factory. Missing screen on front passenger side which they apparently can't get. Lining on the front curtain disintegrated from regular sunshine. Sink cover sticks and breaks apart when opened. Drawer latches and tabletop holders broken. The bedroom divider won't close. And when I drove over fifty miles one way from Ormond Beach, FL to Orlando an end cap fell off the awning. Two days later when I was driving to Daytona to try and get the generator fixed the edges on the shelves of the kitchen cabinet fell off. Mind you now, I haven't even had a chance to use this RV and it will be out of warranty in four months. My advice for everyone considering buying an RV is to not even look at a Thor product.

VERY DISAPPOINTED with our 2016 Open Range 2604RB .. will NEVER EVER purchase another product manufactured by Highland Ridge RV .. purchased in Jun 2016 and have had nothing but problems .. only 1 trip out where we didn't have issues. Dealership has had to replace all of the exterior hatch doors including entry door; bottom of the "supposed" pantry fell through under weight of food; dinette seats detached from the slide out floor; rear of dinette detached from side wall of the trailer; outdoor speakers have been replaced twice; ground screw for the electrical system rusted and caused all of the low voltage electrical to stop working; water tank syphons itself out when you fill it; that's the SHORT LIST just to name a few. Dealership in Cambridge, ON Canada has been awesome, but Highland Ridge refuses to recognize the issues with the manufacture of this trailer, spoke to their Warranty Supervisor twice and they will do nothing. Absolutely NO QUALITY CONTROL .. unit should never have left the factory. Our frame warranty is up in Jun 2018 and are seriously concerned about what will happen after then .. looks like it's time to sell and buy something else. I'm sure this post won't last long but trust me, I will keep reposting to make others aware.
