We purchased this RV in Denton, Texas. We took off to California parks n October 2019. We returned to Texas in Marc2020 and haRV has sat in the same spot ever since. The floor plan is great BUT, we have spent literally thousands of dollars in repairs since. The this RV is a money pit! Repairs so far. Main AC unit, replacement of Awning Hoses in Bathroom under the shower stall, in the kitchen and had to replace the water heater. Leaks in main bedroom. Had the furnace worked n twice and it still won’t stay in. Now the slide out will not come in. It’s always something and nothing cheap to repair. If I could pick this thing up and throw it back to Ri reside, I would. Arrrgggghhhh

Do not buy a Prime Time or Forest River RV. They are junk and even worse Forest River will not stand behind them. In reading reviews I see all the same problems I have with mine, slide dragging pealing the lanolium in kitchen, trim inside falling off, light fell off the ceiling on the way home from the dealer, brand new. The cheap tires they put on the rvs are junk so much so Goodyear won't even stand behind them. I blew one with 500 miles on it and destroyed the right side of the trailer. My unit has been in the shop waiting on a new floor for the slide since Nov 14 it's now March 6 and still no floor. 31/2 months qualifies for Texas Lemon Law and I am going for it. I have owned several rvs and none fell apart this quick or even at all, never blew a tire and never had problem with service. This unit has been a nightmare and so is Forest River to deal with.

We’ve enjoyed it overall... I won’t say it’s top quality but not bad for the price! It’s a nice layout and we haven’t had any major problems! The outside kitchen and the spacious bathroom with its extra large storage are the biggest pros! The negatives are the typical things like cheap / low quality stabilizer jacks, an under-sized, very loud and shaky AC and very little insulation! In the Texas heat we can’t even keep chocolate in the cabinets without it melting even with the AC going which has to run almost non-stop. A few other design things I would’ve done differently like access doors under the dinette instead of always have to remove the cushions and lift up the seat, the lift up bed should have some kind of support struts to hold it open, and the open shelf over the bed should be cabinets in my opinion, a MaxxAir or FanTastic vent fan in the bathroom would be nice. Not a fan of the floor vents but there are only 2 so it’s not a big deal. Our next RV will certainly have better insulation but overall we’re enjoying it!

I'll start woth what I like. The finishes. Our first trip in this RV, the bottom of one of the cabinets came down. It was just pinned up there. So everything in the cabinet was all over thebrakes. The main closet in the front also came off the back wall and all outer clothes were on the floor. We tried fixing, don't know how it will fair when we leave. Then the 50amp brakes wasn't wired correctly so we had to fix that and get a new braker. The wires under the camper are a total birds nest. You'd think they would be neater. We also had several water leaks that we had to fix because they use cheap plastic parts for the joints. We had two AC units that were freezing up constantly. The roof was laying on top of the returns which wasn't allowing air to flow. So we had to open the vents on the ceiling and put blocking in to create airflow. However, they were still freezing. So we got a tech to come out and he found that two of them had a bad switch? If you send a bill to Vanleigh, they will only cover parts and labor. Mind you, we're living in BFE Texas, because I work on wind farms. So I only got less than half of the bill back. And you better have everything spelled out on the bill they give you when you turn it in or they won't pay it. Oh...it's also hotter than Hadese down here. They claim this is a 4 season RV, but it's not. They basically insulate with bubble wrap. Also, the toilet is electric and we had to unplug the sensor because it kept saying the black tank was full when it wasn't. And would stop flushing the toilet. We got this RV because Vanleigh had a good reputation. But they don't care that your brand new RV is falling apart. Horrible!! Will NEVER buy one of these again!! End rant. It's not worth the price tag!!! Not by a long shot!

Where to start with this one? We bought the RV new to stay on property we have, so nothing wrong with it can be blamed on road travel. It is comfortable and we like the floor plan., but we've had one thing after another go wrong. Right off the bat, the entry door had to be slammed to close it. We tried adjustments, etc., and finally discovered the keyhole plate was too big and wasn't installed properly. Took that off, and it closes normally. Within the first 6 months, the converter went out (in the middle of a Texas summer) and had to be replaced. The original toilet leaked and after some research on our own, we found out it had been recalled. They did send us a new one, that was cheap to say the least, but we installed it, after we replaced the cheap flange in the floor that had cracked. We ended up replacing it with one we purchased ourselves. We've replaced the water pump twice. The kitchen faucet leaks. The water heater has never worked on electric, only propane. The propane regulator was recalled. We have 2 refrigerators and have had to replace both control boards. The sound bar quit working. The outside cable/satellite connection has never worked. The outdoor kitchen light quit working. The kitchen vent hood quit working. The latest issue is that the drain pipe under the shower broke, which we were unaware of, water built up under the trailer on top of the lining underneath, which eventually collapsed sending not so pleasant smelling stagnant , animal poop-filled water everywhere, which leads me to the worst part. I found giant holes in each end of the frame of the RV that allowed critters to crawl in and set up house on top of the covering underneath and use it as a superhighway to climb up into the trailer through the giant holes they left everywhere a water, electric or gas line had to come up into the trailer from below. It took a lot of work and a lot of Great Stuff, but I think I finally have all the inside holes filled and haven't had anymore mice inside. The workmanship on this trailer is pitiful and support is nil. They should be ashamed for selling such a mess. If I could leave 0 stars for overall quality and support, I would. Buyer beware. We plan to upgrade, but it won't be to a Keystone.

MY NEPHEW IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUES AS THE REST OF YOU. HE BOUGHT HIS KEYSTONE TO LIVE IN AND HAS HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THIS BRAND NEW RV SINCE HE GOT IT. ITS A LEMON.....DAY 1, BLOWOUT ON TIRE COMING FROM THE LOT, HAD TO REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES ON IT TO PREVENT HAVING MULTIPLE BLOWOUTS. NO WARRANTY ON CHEAP TIRES, HAVE TO GET WITH MANUFACTURER. BOLTS IN FLLORING, GREY WATER SEWAGE LEAKING, TRIM FALLING RANDOMLY, GFCI FRIED 3 TIMES, FIREPLACE SHORTING OUT, FLOOR DROPPING OUT OF SLIDEOUT, HOT WATER HEATER NOT WORKING, NO POWER TO OUTLETS, SO MUCH MORE. KEYSTONE USE TO BE JAYCO, NOT SURE IF YOU ALL ARE FAMILIAR WITH JAYCO BUT THEY WERE AROUND BACK IN THE 80S AND HAD THE SAME LOW QUALITY RVS AND POPUPS. GOOGLE MASSIVE LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM IN CALIFORNIA THAT JAYCO LOST, THIS IS WHY THEY CHANGED THE NAME BUT STILL SELL THE SAME CRAPPY PRODUCTS. SEEMS NOW THAT THEY NEED TO BE FACING ANOTHER MASSIVE LAWSUIT IN 2024 UNDER THE NAME KEYSTONE. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THAT MY NEPHEW FILE UNDER LEMON LAWS AND HIRE N ATTORNEY BECAUSE THE BACK AND FORTH CONTINUES AND THIS IS TOO MUCH MONEY TO JUST BE AT A LOSS. I RECOMMEND YOU ALL DO THE AME. THIS IS A SHAME THAT THEY ARE EVEN ALLOWED TO CONTINUE MANUFACTURING RVS AT THE RISK OF COSTING SOMEONE THEIR LIFE BECAUSE OF FAULTY WIRING FROM THE MAUFACTURER. THESE THINGS BURN LIKE TISSUE PAPER. I WOULD NEVER BUY JAYCO BACK THEN AND SURE AS HELL WOULDNT BUY KEYSTONE. I HAVE HAD RVS OVER THE LAST 25 OR 30 YEARS AND NEVER HAD THESE ISSUE. I RECOMMEND YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE BACKGROUND OF THESE COMPANIES BEFORE PURCHASING. ALL THIS IS HAPPENING WITH HIS RV AND HE LIVES IN IT IN A CAMPGROUND, NOT EVEN PULLING ACROSS THE STATES. I had a momentum. First the dealersold the unit I contracted to get by taking it to Arizona in an RV show. So I got a different one than I actually contracted for- they just crossed out the information and put in new stuff acting lie this was ok. Unit came defective in the gutter system. The only slam door not slam latch sealed is where the controls for the hydrolics are. The gutter is pieced right above this door and water leaks down the wall. I had this addressed twice and each time they put silicone caullking vs replacing the gutter. So it bubbled up in the gutter while I was in San Marcos Texas. A huge rain storm came and the water poured down the wall, leaking into the door in the storage area running through the controls. When the emergency call to leave came at 3 am the unit had shorted out it was not possible to move the hydrolic feet. The unit had to be left and was hit with 40 ft wall of water, filing it up over te bed in the upper level. With insurance depreciation I lost $30K. I will NEVER buy a product from them again! The didnt care when I called and they never recalled any of the other units I have seen with exactly the same problem. I have purchased a keystone product that has better creature comforts and is also made well- and with it being last years model I have gotten a SCREAMING deal on a 100K trailer. the momentum design is horrible The TV is on the wall and you have to look over the kitchen counter to see it from the sofa. Best place to see the TV is the single bed area over the garage powder room! To see the fireplace one must lie down on one's side and peek around the kitchen island. There is no table and if you put the one up by the sofa you can't walk around it! The sofa is horrible- designed to sit straight up only and has little red pull things that poke you if you aren't careful HOW you sit on the sofa- only place to sit. theTV is horrible and cheap. The sound system is wired stupidly so it is not easy to use the surround sound. The kitchen is limited as well. My faucet leaked and I had to fix it. Did I mention that my trailer came with a family of mice residing in the kitchen cabinets? I do not recommend this trailer. I do not recommend the central Grand Design company who knows all about this and has made no effort to correct their mistakes in this trailer. Beware if you purchase one of these.
