Buyer beware!!!! From day one there has been multiple problems with this rv. Floor needed to be torn up to find the bolts that keep everything secure we're all bent and need to be replaced. The front of the camper was torn apart and put back together three times. Leaking kitchen sink, floor that squeaks so bad. And now come to find out support joists are bent and the floor by the slide out is collapsing. Due to the floor collapsing when you bring the slide out in it tears all the linoleum up StarCraft not only puts out poor products but there customer service is just as bad. This is not the first RV we have ever owned but it will be the last StarCraft/Jayco product we will ever purchase. Please save your hard earned money.

Our first RV was a large Starcraft with the porch on the front. We loved it, but the pullout beds were getting tough for me more so when that was the only way to get inside. We thought the Shamrock would be a great upgrade since you can easily get inside without messing with the beds and the beds drop down instead of having to pull them out. It was but the quality just isn't there. We have been fixing problems from day one. Windows don't open easily, curtains are too short, blinds have never stayed up, bed canvas disconnects, door lock issues, and staples holding things together coming out. Overall, we have enjoyed our Shamrock but I really miss having more openness of the Starcraft which gave you the option to have the screens, clear plastic so you can see outside without feeling the weather or the canvas so no one can see inside. We camp in all types of weather and I want to see outside when I am I inside instead of walls and baby windows that don't really work. For me, the best RV would have lots of windows and counter space.

Love the layout of this unit. Several problems with to start off. We only travel on weekends no more than 100 miles round trip. Trim around doors is lifting after one season of use. Water problems; driver side leak at the front of camper. Bedding, pillows and mattress soaked. Still can’t find out why. Everything appears to be sealed and no visible signs of water damage. Leak under bathroom sink. Manufacture problem....a screw hiding hot and cold lines in place has rubbed through the lines. Contacted the service department where RV was bought. Still waiting for a call back. It’s been a month. Contacted Starcraft and was told it’s my problem and not theirs. Recall in the fall of 2019. Waited till spring 2020 to get it looked at. Took over 3 weeks to fix a 30 minute issue.

We bought this 2018 Starcraft Avalon, 26BHS RV new from a local dealer. We've enjoyed this travel trailer so much that after owning it for just 11 months, we are ready to upgrade to a larger fifth wheel RV. We have traveled from Georgia, to St.Louis, to Colorado, then down to the Grand Canyon! WOW! What a sight! If you have never been, put that destination in your bucket list. We stayed there 7 days then drove back to Georgia. On the way back, we hit 106 degree weather but the RV was comfortable on the inside. And no problem what so ever. We pull the RV with our 2016 Ford 150 EcoBoost and had to be careful not to get a ticket going up hill; I was gaining too much speed. In other word, that truck had no problem pulling this RV unit. Just last week, we went to Gatlinburg TN. It was cold outside, but we stayed warm when inside the RV. All works like new. I decide to replace the kitchen sink faucet with a household sprayer faucet; my wife loves it. We added a ROKU TV that will stay with the RV. We installed a better mattress for more comfort 2 months ago. We have had NO problems with tires. LED lights throughout are more efficient and also outside lighting under the awning. We just love it, but are ready for a fifth wheel.
