Bought this TT 03/19. 06/12/2019 climbed a ladder to get measurements and found numerous bubbles on the roof (>70). I photographed and sent to Demontrond RV in Houston Texas. 10 days later Demontrond RV stated they sent my pictures to Forest River Salem Warranty division. Salem says all of these bubbles are just cosmetic. I pay this much for something I feel that the roof glue should not be coming off. These bubbles are every where not just on a seam. I did have to repair the water leak under the sink, I had to tie up the cable crossing underneath the camper because it was 2 inches off of the ground. I had to repair the plastic pieces inside the trailer that were improperly installed. This was my first travel trailer and definitely my last if it cannot last more than 3 months without falling apart. I have driven the trailer 326 miles total. I have stayed in it 3 days total.

We purchased our 2021 Salem Hemisphere 25RBHL in early 2025, and it was absolutely immaculate—like a brand-new couple’s coach. It even still had that new RV smell inside. We camped almost every month throughout 2025, including Christmas, and we truly can’t put into words how perfectly this model has met our needs.
The 25RBHL is the ideal size—not too big and not too small. The interior feels like home without needing to add a single thing. The rear bathroom is incredibly spacious! The theater seating features underlighting and illuminated cup holders, creating the perfect ambiance for watching an action-packed movie. The kitchen offers plenty of cabinet space along with a pantry, which is a huge plus.
For a five-year-old trailer, the exterior still looks fantastic—clean and free of stains. Most people assume our Salem Hemisphere 25RBHL is much newer at first glance. The only item we needed to replace was the “H” hot water cap on the bathroom sink, which I found on Amazon for $5. My husband also performed routine annual maintenance on the water heater and replaced the anode rod, purchasing a two-pack for under $20. Other than that, we haven’t had to do a thing.

We recently bought this forest river salem fsx 181rt from a major dealer in ohio Jeff couch's RV. When it was shipped to us I found many problems right away. Apparently they don't have quality control. My refrigerator was dented in 3 places, toilet was scratched severely, poor craftsmanship throughout. My blackwater tank wasn't secured properly, there was blood in the shower and bathroom door! It looks like they threw it together overnight. Everyone is "so sorry" but don't seem to want to do much about it. We will never buy another one.

We purchased this Forest River Salem Hemisphere in December 2020. It took a while to get it due to economic situation, that was understandable, and we received it in January 2021. When delivered to us a fender skirt had cracks around the fasteners due to no support pieces installed. The trim pieces are coming loose, a valance come off the wall and the shower is busting up making it unusable, crushed heating duct in the island, a hole in a slide out material causing roof to require replacing, and a window busted out presumably in transit.
For the above reasons, we are very unhappy with this RV and extremely disappointed in the craftsmanship or lack thereof. Forest River should be ashamed of this RV and their craftsmanship.

First time RV owners purchased this RV in 2015. First trip out the slides ripped out our drawers in the bunkhouse as they did not stay closed during travel - that was the beginning of our journey. I have to think this unit was the training unit for staff. Since we have had it in the shop 10 weeks in 2 years. Siding has come off twice, microwave fell out of the wall, drawer fronts fall off when we open them, speakers don't work, LED outside lights broke, water pouring in the bunkhouse during a storm, stabilizer jacks broke, antenna for TV reception doesn't work if the air/heat is on. The service shop doing the repairs have found all the wiring in the unit was not properly installed. I have tried calling Salem, no one answers or responds to my messages. My local dealer is trying to take care of me but they are at a lost - and are tired of seeing me. I just want to go camping one time with no issues!

We bought 2 forest river products since 2017 one was the Sun seeker 32 ft. RV with full custom paint almost 90,000 we first had electric issues burnt out outside tv and microwave on second camping trip . On forth camping trip went to hook up water and it started pouring out the side . Lines busted and had to be taken back to dealer again. Only put 1400 miles on which 600 was taking it back to dealer for issues. Finally had dealer sell and dummy me bought a Salem 33 ft 3 slide model well so far the converter box has burnt up and the air went out we had gas leaks the outside speakers are junk brittle have broke already the latest issue is the floor started discoloring a yellow/ orange call the dealer the knew what it was cheap glue coming up through the floor . Won’t fix cause past one year mark??
The first RV I bought a extended warranty this one I didn’t .. my bad forest river doesn’t stand behind their product nor do dealers care. I spent 130,000 in about two years . I won’t buy another forest river product ever!

We purchased our Salem 26DBUD (first travel trailer we have ever purchased) in the spring of 2019. The service and support we have received from the dealership (Hilltop RV, Escanaba, MI.) has been outstanding. The actual trailer is junk. We have had it in for warranty work at lease three times now. Issues have included but not limited to big bulge in the siding, the face of the slide out is separating from the sides, bent stabilizer jack, several pieces of trim pulled away from the walls, broken screen, broken cabinet face, bottom of kitchen cabinet is pulling up, interior of storage area pulled away from the wall and the insulation falling down from the outside of the trailer. Needless to say these are the things I actually found. It seems like every time we go camping I find more and more issues. We are now contemplating trading this one in for a different brand. I would highly recommend you steer clear of Forest River products unless you like your camper spending more time in the shop then actually camping.
