If I want to sit on a couch, I put the dining room table down and put pillows on the back. There is also a good amount of underneath storage space.

Wish I had read all the reviews first! Quality is the worst ever! Bought from White Horse RV in south Jersey. Delivered with rusty hub caps and very dirty inside. And they were in a rush throughout the delivery. Over the past couple of months, the more we look at, the more disappointed we are! They used crap quality products, but even worse it is very clear that Forest River does not care at all about how crappy these are put together! I could have done better myself and I don't know the first thing about putting one together. Nice layout and if the quality was any better I would probably love it. But in reality, its just a very expensive lesson learned.

My Montana High Country has heating/cooling issues.I have owned this Rv since new and recently has become my only residence. This RV is advertised as being artic packaged, but in reality it isn't. Keystone placed tank heaters on the water, sewage tanks, but did not add additional insulation in this rv. Therefore if you are going to use it in the cold months you are going to freeze! This RV is 41ft long and has 5 slide outs, which has alot of open space to heat/cool! Keystone only placed one furnace and it's in the front part of rv,therefore by the time heat tries to reach rear den it's cold. The same holds true for air conditioning. 2 acs one on each end and nothing in the middle. The livingroom is like a sauna in the summer! Too much heat for them to cool this rv with the amount of open space.

So, they just hard wired it. After ten times in three years, they just hard wired it and bypassed all the KZ switches. NO, I am not kidding. Run, and I mean run fast. Yes, we thought we got a good deal. Reality, we paid too much because it is a piece of junk. Don't ever buy anything from this manufacturer. Our retailer is going to take this thing off our hands and we are going to replace it with an Outdoors RV. Lesson learned and it is going to cost me. YOU don't have to make the same mistake. Learn from me. Don't be me.

Let me just say if I didn’t enjoy camping so much I would be giving this adventure up....DO NOT EVER BUY A CAMPER FROM Stoltzfus Rv or manufactured by KZ/Venture Rv....they do not stand by their product...esp when it has been a lemon from day 1....this camper picked upon January 2018 has been nothing but problems...it now needs a completely new slide out...which the manufacturer says is too out of warranty to pay for...excuse me this has been an ongoing problem since it was returned to Stoltzfus RV in Westchester not even realizing this was a much bigger problem than some caulking they put on the area at the time. Like I have said before when we picked up camper after they “supposedly” fixed the problems...when in reality THEY created additional problems....they parked it out front and NEVER went over the repairs...the person in charge that day was rude and acted like we were nothing but a bother to him that day even though they knew we were coming. They had nothing ready to travel with this camper..thank heavens we at least checked inside but at that point could not even verify that all the problems were completed. For the manufacturer to say these issues were out of the warranty period is just wrong! This trailer was covered by a manufacturers warranty, a Forever Warranty which costs me over $300 a year to get the inspections needed for this warranty to continue “forever” plus an extended warranty I paid an additional amount for and NONE of this really covers anything. To say I’m beyond fed up is an understatement

BEWARE HOW FOREST RIVER TREATS CUSTOMERS!!!! Once you sign they are done helping the customer. Purchased a new 5th wheel this season and had a few issues. Now it sits in the dealership lot for over 2 weeks. Contacted service at Forest River and they said the parts on back order when it comes in we will ship it and thats it. A common part on all RV'S is on back order hmmm how is it they keep popping out new RV'S daily. If the parts are on back order ??? Of course the dealership I used is just as at fault as Forest River for not following up and requesting the parts sooner. They had the trailer now two weeks and only requested the parts 8 days ago. But then again they are so crooked in this business you never know the truth. I have been reading a lot about how generally Forest River denies warranty work to prolong the repairs. So it is very possible they denied the original request and finally after 8 days in the dealership they approved it after of course me complaining about the issue. All I can say is look some where else when purchasing especially a new RV. Do your research. My recommendation is to stay away from Forest River !!! These big companies need a reality check!!! We are the consumer paying there salary helping to keep the company going. So why are you treating US this way ? BEWARE LOOK AROUND AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE BUYING ANY FOREST RIVER PRODUCTS !!!!!

We purchased this RV 3 months ago (May 2021) and so far it has been outstanding. We researched for 5 years, narrowing it down to three manufacturers until we were between the Alta and the Grand Design Imagine 2670MK, which is basically the same floorplan. Besides being $10K less, we appreciated the following difference compared to Grand Design: Azdel walls, the 12V fridge, a king-size mattress, the included standard solar panel, the solid 5-inch insulation roof, and the full aluminum frame. We were concerned about the R-values as Grand Design claims very good numbers, but to be honest, so far the Alta has survived the Texas heat; with 98F outside we had 76F in the living area and 64F in the room around 3 PM, which is really impressive. So far the support of East to West has been second to none. We had two minors issues, one of the slides needed a slide adjustment, and a dining table chair required to be replaced. Both issues were addressed to my satisfaction in a very short period of time. The construction quality is excellent but like any RV at this price range, few things are recommended to be upgraded. Things such as mattresses, tires, and perhaps the suspension are things to consider. For the mattress we bought a topper with good results. We have used the RV for 1000 miles with no issues with the tires but everybody recommends going with Goodyear Endurance. The amount of storage of this model is ridiculous. The drop frame gives you a huge amount of storage in the front, not to mention the drawers under the bed, the room closet. In the kitchen, there is plenty of storage. Maybe an area to improve is to have additional shelve inside the large cabinets, I built my own extra two shelves. Towing it has been very easy but I highly recommend a 3/4 ton truck, we use a RAM 2500 and do the job without any issues. The RV cargo capacity (CCC) is 2369 pounds compared with 1650 of the Grand Design, this was also another important factor, The interior decoration and colors are bright and elegant. The countertop of the kitchen and the desk is made of durable and good quality material, better than GD, however, the cabinetry of the GD looks more modern. In my opinion, one of the factors that made me consider Grand Design is their reputation for outstanding customer service, and because that is the market perception (and probably the reality) their price point is 8 to 10K higher, however, I can say without hesitation that East to West customer service experience has been superb, exceeding my expectation. I am a very satisfied East To West, Alta customer.

My wife and I bought our Highlander May of 2019 brand new. We have been full timing in it since that date. We are at a stationary location at the moment but we also still do our traveling camp trips with it. We have taken it out at least a dozen times including a trek to the Oregon coast. So I'd estimate we have at least 5k miles on it so far. All of the other reviews for this coach are quite negative. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this coach. In the last year and a half I've had typical issues such as the heated seats quit working (Thomas Payne theater seats), not a Highland Ridge craftsmanship. Our blend valve (LCI component) for the water heater bypass failed last October in a freeze, yet again not craftsmanship. Spring of 2020 our furnace (Dometic/Atwood) quit working and being that it was during our winter thaw I didn't bother with it till this week. Wait, once again not craftsmanship. Turns out it was the sail switch. With that being said about the furnace We had single digit temperatures the week prior to changing my sail switch. Yes, it was chilly in the mornings but with electric heaters in the living room and garage it wasn't as bad as people would think. But to my point with no skirting at the time of the single digit temps and no heater to heat the underbelly, we still did not freeze within our coach. We do have heated hoses but that was it at the time. So with all of that being said, we absolutely love our coach and have had no craftsmanship issues what-so-ever. Oh last summer we also had issues with the fans for our fridge (Norcold) oh guess what another none craftsmanship issue. People complain about not being able to get around the bed, that is how almost all king bed models are designed regardless of who made the coach. We originally bought a king model because the queen we looked at sold the same day we came to put a deposit on it. Ours is now a queen model though. My biggest complaint is the same as any other full time coach owner and that is that the craftsmanship when it comes to the wiring and water lines behind the pass through (basement) it is an absolute rats nest. So in reality please people don't just consider a toy hauler such as Momentum, Voltage, or Seismic. Yes, I just listed what society considers to be three of the nicest toy haulers. Remember who owns Highland Ridge is the same company that builds Seismic. What you all have to realize and come to terms with is do you want a $65k or $85k toy hauler that have the same internals just different craftsmanship. Remember my Highlander has the exact same components as the higher dollar value toy haulers. No, I may not have the fancy above cabinet accent lighting, the lighted stove knobs, or tv's included in the garage or bedroom but in reality we haven't missed any of those superficial things. I have installed smart tv's throughout our coach and besides that the Furrion tv that comes with these coaches is a POS anyways. Yes, GD has supposedly exceptional customer service at the factory, but unless you have a serious structural issue how often are you going to deal with them? I hope that this review shines some light for some new comers to the RV market. It is a hard decision with so many choices. I can be found on social media or possibly contact through here for additional questions. Also regarding another review I just remembered about stickers cracking and peeling ours has been in the Utah heat and we have no sticker issues. In closing neither me nor my wife are in any way shape or form associated with Highland Ridge or any of its subsidiary's, such as Open Range, Jayco, or Thor by any means. We are just a family that want to enjoy life and travel at the start of 2021!
