My family purchased this 2 months ago and its been in the shop for 3 weeks to fix dinette table not aligning, refridgerator not working and other issues. While its under warranty that is rediculous for a brand new rv. I am returning from a trip and Im boiling b c there is no junction box so we cant watch tvs...also on this trip I learned that the power outlet is UNDER the dinette table....no outlet in the kitchen, what genius designed that? The quality all the way around seems to be shoddy for a large purchase. The vehicle shake rattles and rolls when driving the speed limit...we call it chitty chitty bang bang now.

Beauty is only skin deep. The trailer is beautiful and awesome to camp in, but we have had continuous problems since we bought ours. Defective refrigerator, window that shattered due to poor installation, have had to replace the kitchen faucet twice, outlet failures, counters separating from walls, outside cabinet issues, continuous issues with leveling system, slide out seal issues, broken entry door, and a broken weld on the wall frame resulting in a cracked wall and damage to the roof of a slide out. KZ represents their products as having superb quality but they are far from that. The worst RV we have ever had. KZ is awful to deal with and do not stand behind their products or care about their customers. We will never buy a KZ product again and would not recommend a KZ product to anyone.

I bought my RV new in Gulfport Mississippi at Foley RV and was real happy. Then the first time i used it I found the shower drain was not hooked up and water flooded the floor, then the TV quit, the micro wave outlet has no power so I have to run an extension cord to another outlet. The people at Foley couldn't care less. They made the sale. I installed the pipe for the shower, I had to call the manufacturer of the TV for replacement. Now the front cap LEDs quit. I have it parked on a lake in Louisiana and its really not an option to tow it 250 miles to a service center.

Can't give it a better rating, because I wouldn't know. We bought our 2021 camper on May 22nd, picked it up on June 6th, took it camping on June 10th and the refrigerator stopped working on June 11th. Brought the brand new camper back to the dealer on June 19th and they say the warrantee claim was finally approved by forest river by July 17t and now I still sit - 39 days later - without my brand new camper, with no idea when Forest River will get the new refrigerator to RV Outlet. The entire summer will be gone before I know it. Is anyone going to extend the warrantee on this thing or give me back my summer or even let me know what to expect???? RV Outlet blames Forest River... Who you going to blame Forest River?

Purchased January 2021. Have made 4 trips and total of 1000 miles. Had a few small issues - wires pulled loose on an outlet and water pump - easy fixes. Found a few loose screws. All found before first trip. Seems like typical stuff talking to other RV owners. Added a 2” foam topper to the mattress right away. Made a huge difference in comfort. Like the simplicity of the R-Pod 171. Black and Grey dump tubes have double hangers - don’t expect problems like older models. Love the built-in vacuum and deep kitchen sink. Lots of storage under the bed and dinette seats. Added an exterior gas grill that connects to the provided LP quick disconnect. Tows great behind my front wheel drive Mazda CX-9 with a weight distribution hitch. Lots of great tips , accessories and modifications posted on internet by R-pod owners.

On my first drive with my Class A I felt overwhelmed with the steering so I immediately had a Safe-T-Plus system installed. Still not totally comfortable. At the dealership, I noticed the trim on the ceiling separating and the outlet on the front dash wouldn't stay on. They repaired the outlet, but due to closing told me I would have to bring it back to fix the trim. Driving home the outlet fell back out. I took it back to the dealer to repair the trim and it came back loose driving home. I drove 2 hours to take it back to the dealer and it came loose a second time. I decided to wait until I got all the warranty work done at another location. My first time driving in the rain it leaked at the bottom of two slides. Also, my brother realized there was a separation along the complete passenger side of the RV in the compartments. I put it in the shop for the warranty work and it took them over 6 months to do the repairs. When I picked it up and was checking over the work, the compartment separation was never touched. I contacted Thor at that point about taking it somewhere else for the repairs. I now notice the ceiling trim came loose again for the 4th time. After getting g it home from the dealer, I noticed the rear headlight was hanging out. Now the dash air condition is not blowing cold air, and I see the vent hose for the passenger side is laying on the floor. That is not it... One of the kitchen drawers would not stay close. I had to replace the lock as the installer put the screw in sideways and the lock wasn't engaging. The backup camera stopped working (No fault of Thor I found out), being told a squirrel must have chewed the wire. The new service location found this as the first told me it was a bad camera and needed to be replaced. They said that Thor rejected replacing it under warranty, Thor never got a request for the camera. Now I am having issues with Thor because the factory warranty has ended even though these items were discovered prior to the end date. This RV is trash.. I have had 2 travel trailers and a fifth-wheel toyhauler with no issues. I have had each for 2-4 years and traded up. This was a trade down.

BEWARE OF WONDERFUL WARRANTY AND GRAND DESIGN COMPLIANCE.REVIEWS ON BRAND NEW GD.UPDATE MAY 31 2022..NOW THE ELECTRIC MOTOR ON ONE OF MY AWNINS HAS QUIT AND NEEDS REPLACED..I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH SARA H ON ALL THESE ISSUES.. MY MOBILE TECH IS COMING JUNE 2 AND I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ...MY I SIDE DOOR REPLACEMENT. MY SCREEN FOR THE OUTSIDE, MY RECLINER MOTOR. MTY REPLACEMENTWINDOW : MY CUSHION FOR DINETTE. THERE ARE VARIOUS OTHER THINGS THE TECH WILL FIX LIKE THE REF SSFETY RECALL. I GOT THE REFRIGERATOR PART FROM MY DEALER AND REPLACED IT MYSELF WITHOUT THE TECH . I HAD TO HAVE A FRIDGE AND OBVIOUSLY COULD NOT WAIT IN GRAND DESIGN. THEY DID SE D ME A 32. CHECK FOR THAT PART.I have my Reflection less than a year. I am a full timer it is my home. Its a beautiful rv and enjoying it. I have turned in the following issues to Grand Design.for the under 1 year warranty: and waiting for results...We need a thermister.for the fridge.  Which is a Norcold and i am surprised that Grand Design would put Norcolds in their RV s . It is litterally a cheap , nonworking, piece of junk. Could you have a Thermister sent or send info for me to get one from my dealer A&L and explain under warranty to the . He said the reason i have always had to keep it on the max setting since i bought it and had to continually defrost since the months ive owned it was because the thermister was bad from origin and finally quit working. I also need to turn in claims for the following: 1..heat on one of my recliners does not work.. 2. One of the living room windows has not gone up because the track is bent. 3. Bedroom electrical outlet will not stay in the wall. 4.front door will not close without slamming and pushing very hard and making scraping places on the door jam. 5.. the bed frame siding has come loose and the nails stick out and stick my hands when changing sheets. 6.terrible condensation in the bedroom walls and drips on carpet. 7. Gfi outlet in storage bay at water controls only works on 1 plug need new gfi outlet. 8. The paint on the bunkhouse room door has peeled off.9. One of the ladder bolt covers has never been on it. 10.screen has come loose and torn on the entrance screen door. 11. The cushion on the di ette had no button and the buttons can't be replaced it has a sealed backing.I  would also like to check on the status of a recall  22V-038 about a fire hazard on wiring on the fridge.  there is a clamp on but the tech said the wires have to be moved and away from the cooling and not just a clamp  and the wires need to be moved is what the recall is calling for .

The Kitchen sink fell. No clips to hold it, only a "bead of glue". Seriously? We just got trailer out of storage to ready it for camping 2021. We were opening drawers to check for mice... no sign of them until we attempted to open drawer under kitchen sink and it stopped. The reason? The entire sink had fallen; further inspection showed the under-mount sink had only been glued. No clips to support it. I seriously don't understand how RV manufacturers get away with such poor-to-unsafe workmanship. There can't possibly be an educated engineer working for them. If there was, the city water outlet would be moved 2" so the hose didn't interfere with the storage door; the outside shower wouldn't be inches away from the electrical outlet, the cabinet doors over the bed would be on hydraulic hinges or open so I didn't to climb onto the bed. I'm seriously concerned about the shower stall...what's holding it up?!
