I wanted to love my Jayco Swift Li, but unfortunately, it's not met my expectations. The Li model with the 48-volt lithium battery and inverter cannot sustain or operate onboard systems as intended. The system loses connection whenever I unplug from shore power and drive, meaning I must do a soft reset every time I return to the campground. It's inconvenient and problematic, especially since I use the van as my primary vehicle while on trips. In addition, the Renogy system, while innovative, is not user-friendly. The rooftop solar won't bring in enough power to register a charge, let alone charge anything inside the RV. I can only get enough solar when I attach a portable solar panel to the external solar port. I've tested the system in full sun in Arches National Park and Phoenix, AZ, from multiple angles to no avail. Troubleshooting takes hours with the Renogy techs, and if and when the system works correctly, it resets, forcing me to do a hard reset of the entire solar and battery system. The Renogy battery is so complicated that even the RV techs where I purchased my RV have trouble operating the system (even while on the phone with tech support). I believe the Rengogy system is a good product, but it's just not ready to be placed on a consumer product. Since the van has no propane or generator, everything operates off electricity. The air conditioner isn't strong enough to cool the van's interior, even while on shore power and in temperatures under 80 degrees. Likewise, the 30-amp electrical isn't strong enough to handle the Timberline heater. On more than one occasion, my Power Watchdog trips my electrical connection from 30-amp shore power. This happens when my AC is on a high setting or when I have the heat on and anything else inside the van (like the max fan). I never operate the induction stove, AC, or anything requiring more power when the AC or heat is on. I understand how RV electrical systems work, and I don't have these issues with my Airstream trailer (also powered by lithium and solar). Aside from the major electrical issue, the van is poorly insulated, and the sliding windows fall off, rendering them useless. I've had my windows repaired, and several fell off again within a day of bringing my RV home from the shop. I've had other warranty issues with the van, but some are common problems found in most RVs and are not worth mentioning because it's the nature of the RV industry. I have owned eight RVs, and I've never believed that a product wasn't consumer-ready as I believe this RV to be. I love the Dodge Promaster Chassis, and I am happy with the interior finishes, the floorplan, and some of the extras on the van. If the electrical system worked even part of the time, I'd not worry, but that's not the case. I hope Jayco and Entegra work to find a better lithium system because these campervans would be so popular if the system worked as intended.

A great awd off pavement RV as long as you never leave your driveway. This is the 4th RV I have owned and I really want to love it, but I don't. It is the first year for this model so it is not surprising to have issues. There are so many design flaws and components that just don't allow this unit to be driven off pavement or for boondocking. Ford did their part, Jayco did not. No ceiling vent, water tank siphons water almost immediately after filling, no Jayco manual ( and they have no intention of creating one ), window bug screens don't fit snuggly in their frames so insects of all sizes easily again access to the interior, drawer latches are in the wrong position so drawers continuely slide open, floor is buckling as the glue they used doesn't appear to hold the floor down, cupboards arrived without the struts, the wet bath is a terrible design and bathroom floor is not solid, dining area sitting is extremely uncomfortable, dining table is permanently fixed to the floor and is awkward to sit at., has a useless skylight where a vent fan should be, the bedroom closet doors swing the wrong direction which makes using them extremely difficult. The Granite Ridge handles really well in all driving conditions. The power train, suspension and all the chassis customizing is phenomenal. I like all the storage, I deleted the outdoor kitchen option and removed the propane tank. The gear garage is huge and easily accessible. Beds are comfy, lots of light and good air circulation in the bedroom. The bedroom is not designed for tall or overweight individuals. In fact the coach would not suit large people at all. The solar panel, battery, inverter and generator supply lots of power. We have had no energy issues yet. The portable stovetop and microwave/convection oven do their job efficiently and don't suck much power. Good lighting, heating and air conditioning. TV works well with good imaging. The outdoor awning is great and the wind sensor on it works well. We just did a 6000 mile journey with it through Oregon and Utah and gave it a good testing. We are now dealing with all the warranty issues and will write another review later. We want to Love it.

Clearly the nicest interior and best layout of any Class B 170 Ext Sprinter chassis. Exterior is exceptional with minimal hatches. Doesn't look like an RV - more like a luxury limo. Very refined looking. Only 100 watts of solar was standard on our coach but there is room for one additional panel which I will add soon. The AGM battery is massive and it is located under the rear of the coach in front of the trailer hitch. There was no macerator on our coach but 2021 models will offer that option. Black tank is small but certainly adequate. We have a portable macerator pump that works great so no big deal. The bathroom is well designed and functional with an exhaust fan and LED ceiling lights. The audio system is powered by a Fusion RA770 head unit with 4 JL Audio speakers (2 front & 2 rear). A blue ray player is flush mounted next to the Fusion head unit in the rear of the coach. It feeds both the front and rear TVs. The system would benefit from the addition of a subwoofer to enhance base, which is needed in such an expansive interior. Both TVs can operate independently or share content. There are USB ports in the second row of Maybach style seating up front. The galley is just right for this coach with an induction cook top and convection microwave oven. There's a small under counter fridge, and a vertical pantry that helps separate the galley from the rear coach lounge area. The large rear lounge is awesome and the power folding couch is the most comfortable of all Class B units available - and we looked at ALL of them. It converts to a king sized bed! Cabinetry throughout is top quality with heavy duty hardware and latches that actually stay shut. All cabinets are fully lined. No squeaks or rattles going down the road. The Firefly multiplex system is easy to learn and use. There are displays at the dashboard, galley, and rear lounge area. It controls interior lighting, the Onan propane generator, water system, ESPAR diesel furnace (which is exceptional), the 13,500 but roof air conditioner, 2000 watt inverter and provides tank monitors for the fresh water, gray, black, and propane tanks. Driving this coach is a breeze. The Mercedes Benz chassis, powered by the new generation 3.0 diesel engine is responsive and incredibly fuel efficient given its size and weight. New for 2020 is a 7 speed transmission which is a perfect match for the 3.0 diesel. Our coach came equipped with all of the latest Mercedes Benz safety features, such as distronic cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance technology. The 10 inch display is fantastic and can be controlled from the steering wheel, which also has transmission paddle shifters! Driver and passenger seating is incredibly luxurious and comfortable. Ride quality is excellent as delivered, but I added Sumosprings to reduce body roll. That simple upgrade perfected the ride quality which is far better than I anticipated for a 3500 170 EXT high top chassis. She is rock solid even in heavy cross winds. Driving visibility forward and on both sides is excellent. Parking is a snap with the multi view rear parking camera. But that 170 EXT chassis is pretty long - so you will take up 1.5 parking spaces front to back. Small price to pay for all that extra interior space and enhanced ride thanks to the extended wheel base. Midwest Automotive Designs is producing the American Coach Patriot MD4 for the REV Group. Its essentially the same vehicle as the Midwest Passage. Their folks are friendly and quite helpful. And this RV fits well with the true upscale design, features, and attributes that people have come to appreciate in the American Coach Class A product line up. I purchased our coach from Sunshine State RVs in Gainsville, FL. They are probably the best Class B dealership in the nation. It's a smaller family owned operation that treats their customers with great care and appreciation. I highly recommend them. In closing, the American Coach Patriot MD4 is a high end Class B coach that truly sets the bar quite high for quality features, fit, function, luxury and style. It's not a Mercedes Benz up front with a cheap RV box behind it. On the contrary, this coach is as luxurious and well constructed as a Benz CLS sedan. If you really want top shelf, this hand built custom coach is the best available.

We bought a 2016 lance TT 2295 after looking at the quality of the constructions of the Lance trailers on line as well as looking at a bunch of other trailers(a bunch). Our dealer went through the whole trailer with us in 1 hour and 40 minutes...Great dealership. I recorded the walk through using my cell phone in case I forgot something later. This trailer cost us a little more but we have had another manufactured trailer in the past and it didn't hold up (many problems). We have had the Lance 2295 trailer since Nov 2016 and have taken it camping 3 times. I tow it with a 2000 GMC 1500 z71 sierra pick up. Tows no problem...definitely get a load distribution hitch. We love the floor plan and cooking breakfast with the outdoor kitchen is an awesome feature for bacon and eggs!( Grease cleans up easy using the outdoor sink and doesn't mess up the interior kitchen) We would not buy another one with out it. The exterior gas connections works great for our portable gas grill. We bought a 10 ft. gas extension hose...works great. We did manage to bake and cook inside (roast dinner) stove and oven and all worked as advertised. Microwave works great and can heat up your coffee really well (30 seconds worked for me). Since new we have had some problems but were fixed by the dealership under warrenty. We had a bad awning led strip light, (bad connector shorted the LED strip light)fixed...now works great. Leaking bathroom ceiling near sky light. Unit was resealed...no more leaks. The door to the bath room binds and was repaired. I was told by a rv salesmen friend that trailers sometimes sit on dealers lot for over a year and the usual maintenance (sealant, calking)gets over looked. After these items were fixed have no other problems. The awning opens with one press of the button and has a built in sensor that senses extreme wind and will automatically close during a windy day to prevent damage to your awning. I tested it and it worked really well. Heating system works well, fantastic fan is a great feature as it brought in more air with it. We added vent covers installed on the roof to allow the vents to remain open all the time. Hot water heats up rather quick in either electric or gas. two people were able to take a 8 to 10 minute shower. The interior fire place is awesome feature as you do not have to use your propane to heat your trailer using your gas heater when connected to RV campground park power. Since your paying for electricity on a campground why use your gas. The slide works well (slide opens in a precise manner) and having it opens up the living room area quite well, its very comfortable with 2 people and 2 dogs. we managed to sit 4 adults around the kitchen table no problem and it felt solid and did not wobble when you moved around. Bed is not the greatest(hard mattress) we bought a 3 inch foam pad and problem solved and sleep is restored. There is allot of storage space in this trailer. There is more then enough storage for us. Plenty of power outlets and USB connections to charge your electronic equipment. The 32in HD LED TV power antenna is awesome and picks up local channels in HD better then the park cable at the campground we just went to. We also bought a Google Chrome cast to stream Netflix via the campground wifi...works great. It basically turned our TV into a smart TV. We also used our cell phone hot spot wifi connection for times when we didn't have the free wifi provided by the campground. The interior cabinets hold all we need and the pantry with the slide (lockable) tray is fantastic as food storage. Most drawers have a locking feature to prevent them from opening and allowing your items to be fall out while driving. The windows let in a lot of light and as a result our camper didn't feel like a dark cave. We have used this camper in the rain ( A lot of rain) and we love being able to open the frameless windows with out the rain coming in. Cleaning the trailer is also easy with no carpet and the flooring material has so far been good. The build quality is exceptional...compared to others we have seen (no trim strips to cover up errors in craftsmanship). One feature I would have loved would have been the to have the trailer pre wired for solar charger. But this shouldn't be too much of a problem to do. So far we are really pleased with the trailer even after the birthing pains with lights and leak and hope to put many miles on 5this trailer for years to come.
