We purchased the 2019 23KTS this year, the unit is built rock solid, with hardwood cabinetry, and higher end finishes. My wife and I and our two large dogs primarily dry camp in the PNW. We’ve increased the battery bank, added a 2k watt inverter, & will be adding additional solar panels. With those additions we can easily dry camp for 5 + days with no problem. The construction is second to none, & will have no problems camping year round. The price is a little more than other brands, but you truly get what you pay for. If you’re serious about camping or just want an RV that will last for YEARS, Outdoors RV is the brand to buy. We have zero complaints. Thank you Outdoors RV for such a quality RV.

We purchased a brand new 2016 Creekside camp trailer that was manufactured at
Outdoors RV in La Grande Oregon to find many internal problems like windows that didn't open to cabinets moving away from walls to a rotted bedroom floor caused by neglect and oversight on the assembly line because an awning arm was not sealed.
Now over $3000 in damage and the manufacturer will not even help us to repair this. We are retired and on a limited income and the trailer is not even paid off. The Service Manager, Rick Ewing agreed to help then he refused to honor his commitment.
We will never purchase another RV from Outdoors RV Manufacturing nor refer our friends to them. Very dissatisfied with this company.

We bought this RV new in Utah on a Saturday while on a well planned family vacation. Unfortunately, before leaving the dealer, the underbelly was flooded by a break in the water tank fill hose. My daughter had a college visit appointment to get to in Arizona on Monday, so we took deliver damaged, knowing that the dealer could not fix until Monday at best. We spent the evening and following Sunday trying to access the broken water line from below per the dealer’s technician recommendation. This was unfortunately not possible. All the while water drained out of the saturated insulation, reminding me of the permanent damage this caused. After 12 hours of that nonsense, trying to access from below, I removed the fireplace and cut a hole in the floor to replace the broken water fill hose, which was a good approach to the repair. We continued on our trip Saturday night. On Monday we lost all trailer braking power coming down a mountain pass. After a life threatening roller coaster ride and overheated truck brakes we made it to the bottom. We stressfully drove on through the valley floors without trailer brakes to get to the college appointment on time. After quite some time troubleshooting, I determined that the brakes had failed due to over greasing of the wheel bearings from the factory. The brake drum assemblies and brake pads were saturated with shiny-new red bearing grease from blown out axle seals from the over greasing hydraulic pressure. All 4 of them were ruined. I replaced all 4 brakes on my unit that day. Sigh. As the trip continued I spent another 9.5 hours thereafter working on various broken parts such as leaking shower caulking, failed pop out seals, a broken propane tank replacement, a broken toilet seat, a hole in the pop out roof from construction debris, holes in the “sealed” underbelly you could put a hand through, broken stabilizer jacks, a broken cook stove part, fallen shades (stripped screw holes), loose fridge cabinet panels, broken cabinet doors, and the list goes on and on.
I presented my issues to Outdoors RV service manager at their factory, in a comprehensive report with photographs snd receipts. They got Dexter Axle to cover the brake parts cost (around $450), and they agreed to pay for the toilet seat, propane tank, and waterline parts (around $200). The labor reimbursement was left as a “possibility” of reimbursement (would be an exception to their policy). When I received the check there was no labor reimbursement and the propane tank reimbursement was also omitted. I contacted Outdoors RV and they apologized for missing the propane tank reimbursement and said they would send it (not received as of yet, a couple months after the new purchase issues. Hopefully they will send it soon). They also informed me that they would not be able to reimburse me for fair shop labor rates for the waterline issue, or the brake replacement, as I had requested, as they would not make an exception to their policy.
I dealt with a lot of problems on a brand new and very expensive camper trailer. All I asked for labor reimbursement on was the 2 biggest and most unacceptable problems: the water line flood repair, and the brake failure. Instead, Outdoors RV only provided under $200 for all these issues… for the waterline parts and a toilet seat, as Dexter Axle paid for the brake parts, not Outdoors RV.
In the first few days of ownership I spent thousands of dollars to repair this new RV (including the tools needed to do it).
In the first few days of ownership this new RV nearly killed my entire family when the brakes gave out on a winding mountain pass.
In the first few days of ownership this new RV took up around 40 hours of my precious, rare, vacation time. And that cannot be replaced.
I owned a Keystone Springdale of similar size for 9 years prior to this, and even lived in it for an Alaska winter. I paid about 300% more for this Outdoors RV than I did for that Keystone, and yet I had more problems with the Outdoors RV in the first few days of ownership than I did in all the years of ownership with the Keystone.
Though the Outdoors RV service manager was kind and professional, I am sorely disappointed with the Outdoors RV quality control, and the “resolution” to my warranty claim. I will not likely buy another Outdoors RV in the future. I’ll buy another Keystone instead.

I bought an Outdoors RV brand RV because I heard good reviews about their quality. Most of the interior is well made but exterior and structure are of a very poor quality. First thing I noticed was one of the aluminum trim pieces hanging down on the edge. When I checked some of the screws were not actually hitting anything other than the wrap on the bottom of the RV. Outdoors RV manufacturers don't even bother screwing into structure. Then after 4 years of ownership the front curved Fiberglas panel just pulled out from under the aluminum strip that is at the transition between the rubber roof and front curved panel. I checked all sealed edges before storing the RV for the winter and there was still a good seal on the joint. But over winter under the cover the panel separated and ripped the sealant since sealant was the only thing keeping the roof and front panel connected. Then some water got inside limited only by the cover I put on for the winter. Dealer wants many thousands of dollars to fix the issue and ORV don't cover their defects past first year. Outdoors RV is not worth the premium price they charge for their RVs as they leak more than much cheaper RVs.
I liked the large water tanks and drain valves located inside heated space. However the water pipes for draining they system hang down outside the floor and can freeze. It is strange that after going through the trouble of making sure the drain valves are inside the heated space ORV would put water pipes exposed and uninsulated outside.
Another unexpected problem is the insulated shower door. It sounded good to protect the shower with insulated door but it has been a recurring problem. The door has a water tight seal on the door but compartment is opened to the inside. If shower leaks even slowly the outdoor shower box gets filled up with water and water pours inside the RV without you knowing it. So if your family members left a slow drip in the outdoor shower you wake up to a flooded interior of the RV on ORV models while any other outdoor shower would just drain to the outside where no damage is done and you can see the drip.
Another problem was with poorly supported water heater. The water heater broke off from the wall mountings due to weight of the water and leaned back inside the RV. All water from the water heater exterior was channeled inside the RV.
Several of our extended family bought RVs so we could go camping together so I got to see what other people had problems with. My Outdoors RV had more problems than cheaper RV brands from the big RV manufacturers. With ORV I paid a premium for a product of lower quality.

We purchased this RV after many months of research on forums etc. Everyone said that the support from Outdoors RV manufacturing was excellent and we found that to be true! Each and every time we called someone answered the phone and directed us to the proper person to take care of our problem. This was in the beginning when we first purchased the RV and had a few little things that needed to be fixed or replaced. They graciously sent us the parts and if I had any questions about installation they were patient and helped me make the proper repair.! These TTs’ are manufactured in the Pacific Northwest and we live in Connecticut so obviously we could not take the RV back for repairs. During our first month of ownership all of the minor problems had been addressed and we have had no problems with our Blackstone since. Also it tows beautifully with or without sway control but on longer trips we use our Blue Ox pro hitch. All in all very pleased with this RV and the Company that makes them!

so far, no leaks but i'll be looking out after have read some of the reviews.
the main reason we chose this model is the towability...we did the 34' fifth wheel experience in alaska and that was NOT our scene whatsoever! besides, the camping for us is about being outdoors...no need for all that space....
we did not buy new....we bought a used one and i imagine they may have dealt with any such problems....but i don't know...
overall, we love our little 'hippiePODamus'! i might order an rv queen mattress though.....back to google for the improvements!
4 star for the factory support because i haven't had to test them and i'd hate to give a low rating without cause.

We live in this 2017 Fleetwood Jamboree 31u, four months out of the year. It is very roomie and has lots of storage inside and out. I especially like the pullout pantry drawers and the outside swing outdoors. When the bathroom door is fully opened, it provides privacy to the shower and bedroom area. There is a lot of counter space for those who like to cook. We love to make pizza in the convection microwave oven. The 40-inch TV is mounted above the upper bunk and can be seen from the sofa and dining table while someone else is making dinner. The huge refrigerators is a residential unit with an icemaker and can run all day off of the 1200-watt converter if not plugged into shore power. The ducted air conditioner provides heat on cool nights without using propane heat. The outside TV swings out and is hooked to the built-in amplified speaker system for higher sound volume. Both inside TV's have amplified external sound bars. I also like the Auto-leveling RV jacks. the add-on stabilizers and Blue Ox steering unit make it so much easier to drive with less fatique, It has a 7500 lb, hitch and we pull a 2011 Chevy HHR with no problems. The spare tire is mounted under the frame, so it is out of the way. There is an outside 120 Volt outlet and hookups for an external propane tank and grill. The only negative is the wife is making me sell it. If you like to take long trips, this is the ideal RV for you.

We actually have a 310 GK (not GK-R-so we have no residential refer, we have the gas/electric refer). We are happy with the camper, the space, and the quality after one year - partially in Maine, partially in FL. Our Heat-both gas and heat pump-and A/C work fine. Our Refer struggles in the heat to keep the food temperature down. The only small problems we had after delivery included the gas water heater needed a quick fix to work on gas ($50). Using electricity, the water heater heated up the hot water very quickly. Also, a folding D/r chair was broken. Grand Design sent a replacement chair for no cost. The trailer tows beautifully behind a GMC 3500 with the diesel. My words of advice to all new RV owners - get a detailed checklist to go through when you do your walk through, and allow plenty of time. Check that everything works - perfectly. Expect things to go wrong after you have it-and make sure you have a good friend who can help you fix minor issues. Hopefully, you will not encounter any major issues. We are generally impressed with the Grand Design quality. But, then again, we have been camping a long time and we know all campers have their issues. Be patient and enjoy the outdoors. If you expect your RV to be perfect when you take it home or go on your first trip, you should probably not be RV'ing.

We bought new and we thought a higher quality to prevent any kind of problems because we travelled so often. We wanted a reliable travel trailer. Unfortunately we’d have been better off buying used from someone.
We got our new trailer and in the first day the lock to the door broke off in our hand. Then the cupboard door broke and fell off .
As the months went by the number of things that went wrong we so many to list them here would take too long. Probably 30 things, everything from a cupboard falling off, to more serious things like the slide ( which was a super slide) not coming out, we had so many problems with this RV we truly wondered if they pulled people off the street to build it.
Just a few things were the water tanks were never secured causing them to fall down. The heaters were never hooked up so heat didn’t come up from the vents, the sewer pipes never secured so they fell off while driving in Texas. The hot water tank never worked from day one.
But the biggest was the slide, it would stop working so frequently it completely ruined so many trips because our slide would just stop making it so we couldn’t even use our RV. You can’t walk by if it doesn’t open . You can’t get to certain cupboards, can’t pull the bed out .. anyway we had it “fixed” so many times, but no one seemed to be able to and the reason we found out 10 years later was because the slide didn’t have certain important rollers installed from day one . Mandatory for the slide to glide on for proper operation “ in and out” so because they were not installed we had 10 years worth of problems with opening our slide, it’s sounded like it was screeching, it was so slow, at times wouldn’t come out at all, leaving us stranded without a livable trailer.
So it was really hard on me I’m disabled, but I had to fix it by myself, removing the mechanism, having a machinist make 2 rollers because the company would not look into it wouldn’t accommodate me at this point, they felt we weren’t telling them the truth I guess because they just left us to deal with it eventually.
For the first few years we were quite impressed with them, they fixed what they could and really came thru but as time went we became I’m sure quite a troublesome complaint to them as they couldn’t figure out why the slide never worked properly.
So when we finally figured it out, fixed it and asked them to just compensate us for the parts we had to have specially made they declined to help. We have been thru so much with this RV wind river by outdoors rv I think it’s important to let people know .
I bought this rv hoping my wife and I would have many happy trips and 80% of them were spent in rv repair shops and finally fixing it myself.
Brand new is not always the best .. try used with all the kinks already worked out .
Pros - this Company tried in the beginning
Cons- Very disappointed in the end me having to fix and pay for it all.
