I would give it a Zero if it would let me. We purchased a Montana 3761FL in April of 2023. We have had nothing but trouble with the gas furnace in cold weather. We live in it and you can freeze to death when the temp is 22 or below. Keystone doesn't seem to care that we are having furnace problems and the dealership, Bankston Motor Homes in Huntsville, Alabama isn't any better. We are disgusted with it and now can't sell it for what we owe on the piece of garbage Keystone Montana. Call me before you buy one.

As with all new RV's, there will be problems and issues and our Montana 305 RL was no exception. Many annoyance quality problems (from day one) that I was able to fix and a few major issues that the dealer had to fix. Overall, we love the floor plan and livability, but not happy campers with Keystone quality! A Montana is supposed to be one of the upper lines of Keystone, yet you'd never know it based on the issues. To be fair to Keystone and especially my awesome dealer, they've been great so far in fixing all the issues, but it is the shear number of issues and inconvenience that is deeply concerning. Now that we've worked through most of the common factory quality issues (most were well-known by Keystone, yet they don't address them at the factory), we're finally able to enjoy the trailers after 2 years of defect discovery and repairs. I often Joke, you want to be 2nd owner of a newer RV. The first owner has to deal with all the factory bugs and warranty repairs.

My husband and needed to have a lifestyle change and Decided to buy a 2020 keystone Montana High Country. It was very pretty. When it was time to get it they said that something in the air conditioner was recalled. Then I was bringing belongings into the camper and noticed the panels in the closet were Very damaged. Days later we found out there was structural damage. We were offered an upgrade at no extra cost which was nice to a Montana 3780rd. We put in a direct tv satellite $3500. We were told that it was completely wired for this. After we left and had direct tv come out, they said that the wiring was not correct and there were too many duplexes In the wiring. Also the dish wasn’t installed properly. This had to be completely rewired. The built in usb chargers were wired backwards, then the batteries wouldn’t charge. We found out that the cable from the power center to the battery was bad. They have to cut the underbelly out to replace this. I really don’t think that the manufacturer has qualified people building these rigs. I would not recommend the Montana to anyone. For 3 months now the problems haven’t stopped. I have made my complaints known to the dealership and Keystone. Keystone has no interest in compensation for all the time and trouble I have gone through. Do not buy a new keystone product

WARNING-Keystone is NOT the company of quality and service as in the past. Late September 2016 we purchased a 2017 Montana High Country 310RE. We uncovered it a few weeks ago (March 2017), discovering roof issues. Trying to keep this short as possible, my review consists of their actual response to not honor the warranty and our response, which they have completely ignored. Our dealer is shocked by their response, and is also stuck, trying to help us. KEYSTONE RESPONSE-As discussed and relayed via phone, we have fully reviewed your case file, and photos provided. Keystone does respectfully decline participation in the request of replacing your roof. This will be our final determination regarding your case. This is a warranty exclusion outlined in your Owner's Manual which I have attached to this e-mail and summarized below. "Keystone will not be responsible or liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind or nature that result from any defect in the recreational vehicle. The disclaimer of consequential damages is not dependent upon the warranty fulfilling its essential purpose." Please note, Keystone does not recommend aftermarket products for their units. Any failures or issues that may arise or are related to or from an aftermarket product will not be warranted. We do appreciate the opportunity to review your request. OUR RESPONSE - Wow. That's all I can say, is wow. The warranty doesn't cover defects of a trailer that left the factory with waves, uneven plywood, and areas of the plywood lifting off of the frame?? There are also areas of staples coming up and no flashing to protect the rubber roof from the plywood. We have read and found information from those who didn't find these defects until they discovered leaks in their travel trailer. I guess we should just be happy we found this mess before any leaks occurred. But, according to the statement below, Keystone also states it will not cover any aftermarket product. So, if we repair on our own, in order to keep the trailer from leaking, this will void the entire warranty??? This is all very confusing... We thought warranties were made to cover defects??? We never would have dreamed to look for 'fine print' such as this in an owner's warranty manual. We thought maybe some of the minor issues we had with our previously owned 2013 Outback (we purchased brand new, because we found more time to start camping again) were because it was smaller and considered more of a mid-line quality travel trailer. About 12 years ago, we purchased brand new and were the proud owners of a Montana Mountaineer. We really enjoyed that trailer, but time didn't allow us to use it much and we regretfully sold it. So, we thought by spending our hard earned money (quite a bit, I might add) to again purchase a 'better quality', top of the line, Montana High Country, we would not have many problems. This purchase of the Montana High Country, in addition to our previous purchases, shows how much faith we had in Keystone. Our plans were even to purchase the ultimate top of the line, Montana, in a few years, as our retirement 'home'. I guess, since we never encountered any major issues before, we have been disillusioned in thinking that Keystone cares anything about their customers. Mr. Jackson, we are just sick over this. We purchased this trailer at the end of September 2016 and have only been out in it twice before putting it away for the winter. We are not trying to 'pull one over' on your company or get something we don't deserve, we just want to be treated as a respected customer. We are very confused. So, if the warranty doesn't cover DEFECTS, do we sue Keystone for selling us a lemon? Respectfully,

We purchased this camper in July 2019, we have owned several Keystone Sprinters and they were great. Since buying this Montana we have had the front hydrolic jack replaced, the closed door came off henge, the table, ceiling fan, cabnets have had to have screws put back in, the refrigerator door need repaired, the hot water heater stopped working on electric, and our back window that doesn't even open just fell out on the interstate in Colorado. We have only put around 2,000 miles on this camper and still have 1,300 to get home if it makes it. Wish we still had our Sprinter, never had any problems without. Maybe we just got a lemon.

We purchased in 2019. Within a couple of months we had a list of sloppy manufacturing finishing items. Such has unfinished carpet in the bedroom, several holes in the wall due to reinstalling of window treatments, door trim problems in bathroom, shade in front kitchen window not fitting into grooves, big spaces in ceiling trim . All these and more were just very sloppy finishing items. Where is the quality control?? After 1 year the flooring in kitchen ha bubbled up. Our side couches are peeling where no one has even sat… it’s just my husband and I and we sit in the recliners. His side has peeled terribly where his head rests. I am so dissatisfied, and disappointed in the cheapness of this model. The trim in the bathroom is peeling … it is not paint. There is so much more and just after two years! We had a 2012 Montana before and it was much better quality all around. Big mistake buying this top of the line, and receiving way less ! Also so disappointed in the customer service at Keystone. Did not get much help trying to solve these problems. I sent pictures, asked to talk to someone in management and was refused. 2 years and the problems continue…. FED UP. Will not buy another Keystone product.

Big mistake buying this rv June 2018. We also have had nothing but problems; compartments leaking, slides leaking, doorknobs that keep splitting, decals coming off and now sliding closet doors that don’t open right (it appears that that frame is twisted). Also manufacturing issues that seem be resolved, quality control? We camper about 8 times a year but plans to use as retirement home. We’ve had to return to the dealer almost every time we return from camping. We loved this camper when we saw it but regret buying it ever day. For the price paid, we feel like it will be junk before it’s paid off. If anyone is interested in Montana 3791rd, you should really think twice. I don’t recommend buying one at all. Keystone should be embarrassed by this product.

Bought this brand new from Curtis trailers supply was limited and for what we thought was quality went with a Montana the first day we had it we hooked up the water and they left the water lines in the closet open where the washer goes after doing a 100 point check list and cleaning so day 1 had gallons of water all over closet and front door iv owned this exactly a year and my slide out in living room leaks along with the slide in bedroom light fixtures are not in a straight line sawdust in light fixtures molding is falling off water lines in bathroom not hooked up correctly leaked in cargo hold drawers and slides not secured properly had to redo all the ones in island so they would close the skylight in the shower is fine the mounding around it was jammed in and not properly secured one corner hung down the crisper lids in fridge have broke off the flimsy tabs and a back corner outside is delaminating and the rv has only traveled 75 miles getting someone out to fix stuff from the dealer is a joke had to take it to dealer for 2 days and fixed all the minor things but the water damage from the slide in living room was told they need approval from factory to fix it at a later date and time it was rated for full time living it is nice up front but the quality of Montana has dwindled and they don't care that the quality isn't there anymore it's about quantity when I sell this I will never buy a Montana or keystone product again I'm moving to Montana and have to pull this over several passes and hope I don't find more problems on the way the manufacturer warranty is shit unless you can just drop your rv off at dealer all the time hard to do when u live in it

We are recently retired and go to south Texas for the winter. This year we went out on a limb and spent a lot of money for a fifth wheel large enough to live in comfortably. Our choice was a Montana because of posted reviews...big mistake. Since July we have had nothing but problems. A/C units not working correctly, water lines leaking, back splash falling off, couches not bolted together, closet doors that will not slide, clothes pole that was so cheap it bent and fell off while towing and now a water leak coming from somewhere by one of the slide outs. In short this thing is an over priced piece of junk! When I called Keystone the representative told me "thats why the trailers have a 1 year warrenty". What they don't realize is that this is our home in the winter so we can't just drop it off at a local dealer so they can put it on the lot and tell us parts are ordered. Very disappointed!
