DO NOT BUY KEYSTONE OR FROM Vellner. - Water pump failed, - entire floor lifted, - all seals around all windows failed and leaked, - roof failed and leaked, - Slide stopped working and leaks, - microwave stopped working - doors for pantry and bedroom came off the hinges, - electrical panel came detached from wall and almost caused a fire.

Hope I can save someone the trouble of buys a keystone. I bought a 2021 keystone Cougar and have been let down at every turn horrible customer service at the Keystone place horrible product I got a three page list of things wrong with my trailer they refused to fix most of them even though they’re factory defect’s. I’ve had three shops tell me that they’re not gonna work on my crappy trailer and they won’t stand behind their product and give me my money back or give me a new trailer. This thing it leaks everywhere. Literally everything has been broken on it I mean it’s a joke I’ve been in the shop like 45 times and it is ridiculous and I can’t even get the whole thing fixed because no shop wants to work on it and Keystone won’t stand behind their product they denying to fix a whole bunch of stuff even know it is factory defects I would never buy another trailer for this place they are a joke.

Of the several features of the updated 2019 Keystone Cougar 29BHS that appealed to me most was the front windshield. I liked the way it looked and the light shinning in made a non-slide bedroom seem airy and bright. Unfortunately just two days later during the first rainstorm the interior frame around the windshield leaked all over the bed. There are several other features that attracted me to this RV but it is currently unusable in the rain for all the leaks and has been returned to my selling dealer for repair. At this point I have confidence in the dealer doing what they can to effectively repair my RV under Keystone warranty but I am skeptical after reading so many bad reviews about Keystone products. Unfortunately I could not get the Keystone dealer nearby while en route to enact repairs as they stated they only do warranty repairs on Keystone units that they sell. keystone says that it's policy for any of their dealers to do warranty repairs but that they "can't control what the dealers do." Also, on my journey back to my dealer driving trough the usual road construction our highway system is constantly under the medicine cabinet in the rear bathroom fell off the wall!!!

Nice looking trailer, went full time for nearly three years, maybe thats the problem. Under warranty the gears and motor on dinette slide, fan motor, toilet parts, and water leaks, also card for the furnace ( I paid that or wait 2 weeks on the road for warranty to send one). Year two water heater repairs, axle alinement, toilet parts, furniture repairs. Year 3 sink hardware, door hardware, fan card and microwave. Year 4 is starting broken welds in the wall around the dinette slide and the ceiling fan quit. We had a 2010 Cougar and decided to upgrade when I retired, I did not know that Keystone and it's vender decided that quality was not important anymore.

What a nightmare! My husband drove 800 miles each way to get floor plan I wanted. We have full cover, electric hook ups and sewer on our own property where it is stored. We live in our house NOT trailer. Take it out for two days. Leaks so bad mattress soaked. Took 2 months to schedule repair then told sorry we don't show you scheduled. Had email confirmation. Found someone closer to fix immediately. Took out for 3 week trip may 2022, issues, issues and more issues. Hubby fixed many, others repaired upon return. Now June 2023 going on 3 week trip. 2nd day extreme water leak and overwhelming sewer smell. Ok bought brand new, used one time 2 days in 2021 major problems then 3 weeks 2022 major problems now starting June 2023 trip with more major problems. The price of this travel trailer should not have this many problems. Keep in mind on concrete slab covered on our property. This travel trailer is well protected from the elements... I MEAN NO HELP FROM MANUFACTURER I EVEN PAID BIG BUCKS FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY. EVERY ASPECT OF OWNING THIS KEYSTONE COUGAR 25RDS HAS SUCKED! Think many times about buying a keystone which is "supposed " to be higher quality with the quality just buy the cheap other brand travel trailer most likely better quality

We purchased a 2022 Keystone Cougar 355fbs in October 2022. It continues to have issues from beginning of purchase until today. Portion of bedroom ceiling needed to be replaced due to bad leak from air vent. "P" TRAPS in bathroom sinks only connected on one side causing major leaks in bathrooms. Water connections for washer leaked resulting in replacing connectors. Kitchen ceiling fan cover cracked due to bad resistance in motor when closing. Motor for fan finally replaced after initial refusals. Latest issue a day ago was Furrion Refrigerator/Freezer died during the night. Since no longer under first year warranty we were able to get it fixed under Good Sam Warranty. Problem with Furrion unit was two melted capacitors due to lack of air circulation around Refrigerator. Refrigerator is placed in a tight compartment in slideout with no place for heat from Refrigerator motor to be vented. During the replacement of capacitors the remaining capacitors on circuit board appeared to be expending from heat. Repairman is going to try and get a new circuit board from Furrion. Next fix will be getting wiring.for awnings taken off of slideout posts on In-Command System and placing them on the awning posts, so when using In-Command you actually open and close awnings by pushing awning button instead of slideout button...

Purchased a cougar 26RKS after owning a Bullet Premier 22RBS. We settled on the Cougar after reviewing several models, quality reviews, features and floor plans. We have now owned our trailer for about 1 year and have camped some 30-40 days, on about 10 trips. What we most like about it is the floor plan: for a 26ft RV we find the floor plan spacious, seating in front of the TV is great, we like the fireplace, good size bathroom and king size bed. Rear kitchen for us works best and we like having two doors to access bedroom and kitchen. Outside fridge did not come with a turn-off switch, which makes it difficult to disconnect, and the capital grill is not as useful as a stove would have been, but we can still get some use out of it. Unlike some owners, we have not had any major structural or furnace issues. So far we have also not experienced failures with air conditioner, stabilizers or appliances. Cabinets are holding up well although we do need to secure doors with brackets before we travel. No leaks or wall paper issues reported with exception of a strip that peeled off during travel but we were able to glue it back easily. Like with any trailer, husband proactively greases bearings, check stabilizers, inspect roof and checks tire pressure before we travel, and so far we have not had any issues with towing or with tires. I would consider a Cougar again and do recommend this model. That being said, where you buy it matters, and there are a few areas where Keystone could improve greatly. TV cable disconnected from antena somewhere inside the walls a few weeks after purchase. We considered taking to a local dealer but given the service reviews of the closet choice - Camping World, and the likelihood that would take several weeks to repair, we decided to attempt repair ourselves before we would bring it in. We fished the wire out of the wall and secured correctly after a few tries. We blame this one on quality control during assembly. In comparison with the Bullet Premier, my husband complains about towability of the trailer - it is not as smooth due to poor air dynamics, so it drags significantly more. Toilet water seal was not aligned to hold water. After a couple calls to the dealer and watching a few videos, we were able to make adjustments to the shutting mechanism; it has since been working well. We blame this one on quality inspection at both Keystone and Dealer. Back kitchen window crank is too large for the window and is actually useless. We have to remove it and open the window manually if needed - a design flaw. The manual of trailers is usually not adequate for the model or appliances that come with it. It serves mostly as a guide, not a manual - a poor consideration to customer service and likely a result of cost cutting. We referred to the manual a few times and could not find specific information on troubleshooting or maintenance for the equipment we had in our trailer. Air conditioner works well, but is loud! For a $30,000+ unit, I wish keystone would upgrade to an A/C unit less noisy. We sometimes have to turn-off the AC to watch TV. We boon-docked in the fall and while attempting to refill the fresh water tank, we realized that we can’t just poor water in it, It actually requires pressure to be refilled - ridiculous concept when you may not have power to generate the pressure, nor the tools to do it. We had to pull the trailer out of the campsite to the nearest water station. Inconvenient design flaw; we will need to bring a battery pump next time. In-Command system is not as useful and helpful as intended and advertised. It does not measure tank levels accurately, requires a PIN nuumber EVERYTIME we need to access the panel and does not allow to remove this requirement in settings. Does not allow for more than one device to sync at the same time, which makes difficult to manage. It disconnects frequently, does not read battery life correctly, touch screen is not very responsive - need to press on slowly and firmly for it to work. The app does not allow for fingerprint of Face ID unlock - PIN required everytime as well. I am not impressed with the InCommand system, Keystone has long ways to go with this product. The mattress as in many trailers had to be replaced - not comfortable to most people I must say. The tension blinds across all windows are terrible! Tension changes during travel and need to be adjusted all the time. There are 5 across the trailer and all have issues. The screws holding the tension are not on studs and can’t support the tension. When you are able to raise the blinds, they look crooked. Terrible design - wish Keystone would use roller or built-in gliding blinds. We are currently considering replacing all blinds. Manual advises to lower the dinner table during travel. I wish keystone would start installing adjustable tables to make lowering/raising easier. It is a job to get the rods off the table and assemble again. Overall, good trailer but not without flaws.
