This RV is built poorly and has had to be in for service on warranty several times. The selling dealer McClains provides horrible service and keeps unit at least 3 months for any warranty repair. KZ had allowed another RV dealer service the unit (RV Guys Valley View) and they were excellent in providing the service needed in a 1-2 week time frame. But now KZ will not allow them to do service warranty and said it has to go back to original dealer. So KZ is not customer oriented after explaining the headaches with MCClains. Overall camper was fair and towed well. Floor plan is good, but customer service from KZ has turned us off from this brand of trailer.

KZ RV has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any Company ever. I have reached out to KZ RV customer service twice now. Once for a part ,was told it was discontinued ( my RV is a 2016 )and once to find out info on manufacture of my slide. Nobody knows what they are doing and when its time to Upgrade to 5th wheel , I can guarantee it will not be a KZ brand. There is no excuse for poor training and bad CS with all the resources available to corporations today !

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I purchased a new travel trailer in 2018 from KZ. I bought it to live in while traveling for work. Ac unit crapped out in under 30 days. Took another 30 days to get the dealership to replace. Didn't realize the dealership replaced it with a smaller unit until 3 months later. Just knew it wasn't cooling like it should. Called a mobile rv mechanic to check it out and he said it was too small for the square footage. Black water tank started leaking at 5 months. KZ customer service is a joke. Payed out of pocket to fix it. 1 side of fridge started having issues at 6 months. No help from KZ. Tank guages crapped out during same time period.
Lots of little things I fixed or payed to have fixed.
Fast forward to 3 years. While on the roof putting on a rv cover I bought, I noticed the roof bladder had several tears in it. Called KZ about it. They wanted pictures which I took and emailed to them. They asked when the last time I had the roof bladder serviced was. The minute I told them I had no clue that was a thing, no one ever told me that was something that needed done they said it voided any warranty due to lack of proper maintenance. Took my rv to a repair shop to get an estimate to fix the bladder. They said the tears were due to over stretching the rubber bladder from the factory. Apparently that's pretty common anymore. The factories cut them short to scrimp on material and have to overstretch to fit. Called KZ back and told them. They said it didn't matter, warranty was void due lack of maintenance. It cost me 8k out of pocket to replace the roof bladder. I now have a top of the line bladder with a 15 year warranty. No maintenance required. Long story short, DON'T BUY ANYTHING KZ OR MADE BY THOR.

I will buy a KZ in the future as long as quality does not suffer over profits so far I have never seen any complaints about KZ issues other than very minor issues about KZ RV’s

Beauty is only skin deep. The trailer is beautiful and awesome to camp in, but we have had continuous problems since we bought ours. Defective refrigerator, window that shattered due to poor installation, have had to replace the kitchen faucet twice, outlet failures, counters separating from walls, outside cabinet issues, continuous issues with leveling system, slide out seal issues, broken entry door, and a broken weld on the wall frame resulting in a cracked wall and damage to the roof of a slide out. KZ represents their products as having superb quality but they are far from that. The worst RV we have ever had. KZ is awful to deal with and do not stand behind their products or care about their customers. We will never buy a KZ product again and would not recommend a KZ product to anyone.

We purchased a 2020 Sportsmen 344BH 5th wheel in August of 2019 and the original dealership has been “less than useless”. KZ customer service and ESPECIALLY Crystal Toma has been more than amazing in getting everything resolved. You know going in when you purchase a brand new RV from any manufacturer that you will have some start up problems, your goal is to keep things to a minimum and not miss any camping time. Crystal and KZ have stood behind their product and have been able to keep me camping during this process, I would not hesitate to purchase another KZ 5th wheel in the future.

We bought this unit new in 2016. It is a 2015-so the warranty went into effect in 2016. This past summer I noticed bulges on one side of the camper, contacted KZ, our insurance company and another RV dealer here in town. The other dealer and the insurance agent both concluded that it was caused by poor workmanship. The roof fabric was tearing on one side caused by the manufacturer cutting the roof plywood to short and the screws holding the plywood down coming loose. The tears in the fabric allowed water to seep in between the side walls causing delamination on the fiberglass exterior wall. KZ said the warranty was 14 months out of their normal warranty and we are SOL! I posted some comments ontheir Facebook page, which they took down and now they have blocked me from their page. Bottom line-don't buy any thing from KZ. When 2 outside parties both say it's a manufacturing defect and they won't do anything to help off set the cost- I'll never buy another KZ product again.

We purchased our 2016 G380FLF in June of 2016 and have had nothing but problems with it since we purchased this fifth wheel. First thing is the self leaving doesnt work unless you camper is already level, even when you are only 2% off level it will not work properly, but we over looked that and went on, we had several other problems also but still moved on. Our first major problem that we couldn't move on from was the frame around the front passenger side slide, when we had it in a RV shop for warranty work the guy showed us that the frame was broke and told us we would need to take it back to the dealer we purchased it from to be fixed, so we did and then got the run around that it would not be fixed under warranty and we would need to pay for it, Well that didn't work for us so after several months and emails and phone calls KZ decided they would fix the frame and they did.
Now 1 year later and only 4 camping trips the same frame is broken again and KZ wanted us to bring the camper to them (16 hours away, 1069 miles) and the would inspect the camper and our tow vehicle (which is a 2003 dodge 1 ton with air ride and has been 200000 miles hauling nothing but fifth wheel campers) and if they deemed it was the same break from the last repair they might fix it for free but would defiantly fix it at a discount to us and we would need to sign a waiver that if it broke again that KZ would not be responsible. So of course we didn't or haven't taken this to KZ since we have no guaranty that it would be fixed at their cost and they wouldn't pay me to haul it to them (1069 miles one way)
The first time this happend we did alot of research on the KZ front Living fifth wheel and found that KZ has had this issue in the past and had to replace or buy back some other fifth wheels, but in our case It seems we are just out of luck in getting our camper repaired unless we want to pay for it our-self (and that is just not fair for anyone) So here we are with a $68,000.00 POS that we cant get KZ to stand behind.
So hopefully you get my point? DO NOT purchase a KZ product because even if you purchase the extended warranty like wed did they will not stand behind their product.
I almost forgot, KZ doesn't build there frame's, another company does which is LCI, so that make's my problem even worse, dealing with 2 company's.
