Purchased in September 2016 and immediately found that the refrigerator did not work on AC, water leak at the shower, the JBL radio put at static anytime DC power was available to the radio, and the chassis AC was overcharged. Got the refrigerator, water leak, and the chassis AC fixed first time in the shop under warranty. I'm still waiting on Jayco to get the JBL replaced with another brand radio to solve the static issue. Now that I listed the bad stuff, I can't say enough good stuff about the Seneca! Air ride makes the coach a sweet drive - very stable, even in a crosswind. Interior fit and finish is very nice with only a few minor adjustments needed to make everything work well. The Cummins ISB engine has outstanding fuel mileage (10+ mpg at 65-70 w/toad), but at the cost of quick power and acceleration. Even so, cruising at 65-70 is no problem on level highways, but it will slow when you hit the hilly roads. Overall, the Seneca is a great coach. This is my second Seneca. I had a 2006 35GS (similar interior layout on a Chevy C5500 chassis).

Very poor customer support. Leave messages and never get returned calls. I purchased this Isata with 7,000 miles, 2013. Dynamax will tell you they will no longer support the warranty, which is fine since I purchased extended warranty. Just don't expect any returned calls on any questions on needed parts.
Within 2 months of ownership, I had the steps stop functioning (2nd time, the first was covered under warranty), Awning motor went out, Radio/Navigation system broke. I was glad I purchased the extended warranty. Would have been over $4,000.
Totally turned off on the brand due to this experience, now looking at Jayco Seneca.

We purchased this RV new after bad luck with our last Jayco Seneca (2018). We thought it was just a bad unit and we had bad luck. We were wrong. The floor plan is pretty nice. Beyond that, there is nothing good to say. Jayco Warranty takes weeks to approve any repairs. This is how they are able to offer 2 years, because if you get anything fixed it will sit at your dealer waiting for Jayco's response. Ours has been sitting for 9 of the last 11 months to have fiberglass cracking issues repaired around all three slide outs. Jayco delays every step of the process. The dealership has to send photos of the problem...wait a few weeks for approval to see where the problem started. Then they show the findings, and another few weeks of delay to approve them to look further. After the problem is found, then it is another 4-6 weeks for them to approve the repair. Lastly, they delay shipping the parts needed to make the repair for another 4-6 weeks. This was the case with our old one, and now our newer one. The overall build quality is what you should expect from the shottiest contractor you have every seen. Jayco has the game figured out to make their coin, and move you out of warranty without fixing the problems. Every trip something else falls apart. My wife keeps a container in the kitchen for all the screws she finds when she is cleaning so that I can go get them when I find what fell apart. Everything is held together with self tapping screws. The majority of them are stripped out, or loose. Junk is the best word for Jayco.
