Yes, Jayco is priced cheaper than other RVs and there’s a reason for it. POOR QUALITY! Two years ago I bought a new 2021 Jayco Alante 29F. Problems fro day one! And repeat problems that even the dealer had troubles fixing. The quality of construction and materials is terrible. I recommend if you’re considering a Jayco product, spend a bit more money and get out of the bottom class of RVs, which definitely includes Jayco. Show less

The roof has loose decking boards and protruding fasteners and Jayco refuses to fix the problems. Their 2/3 year warranty is worthless unless they will honor it. I can not recommend Jayco. The Jayco dealer in Tulsa Oklahoma has been trying to get Jayco to honor their warranty to no success. Show less

Overall, we really like this coach. The dealership where we bought it has been Zero help getting things fixed. I found out the number for the warranty department for Jayco & they have been fantastic. They sent us to an independent shop in northern Indiana & another time to an independent shop in SW Florida. Both of these shops were excellent & both fixed the problems under warranty. The last time we were at the the dealership, they said, "we can't figure it out...you'll have to call Jayco, yourself". Really?? We have had nothing major, just a bunch of minor things like the side door leaking air, the backup camera aimed wrong, the jacks stopped working, slideout mis-alignment and some minor trim problems. The independent shops took care of all those problems. We LOVE the 2 year factory warranty & Jayco has been a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this coach & we give 5 stars to the Jayco warranty department. Approx. 6000 miles so far. Show less

Jayco is great in standing by there product. We had a few minor issues but all were resolved via the warranty. The only hang up is that Jayco is in bed with Atwood and the furnace is a joke. Always fixed but the boards are garbage. Constant problems. Jayco should sun contract a different furnace company. Show less

my Jayco fifth wheel is just over a year old, and the problems started the day we drove off the lot. Poor Products and even worse craftsmanship. They just crank these campers out as fast as they can with no care for quality. If you cannot afford an airstream plan on having problems. Jayco used to be a decent camper, now they just suck!!! Jayco has very poor support and customer service, this NorthPoint has been nothing but problems, poor workmanship and quality, awning is a year old and had small cuts next to where it close to the 5th wheel, we’re advised it wasn’t under warranty because it wasn’t a defect they called it damage if it had been damaged in that location the 5th wheel would have been damaged as well. The biggest mistake we made was buying a Jayco product, we should have stayed with the grand design. Don’t buy a Jayco if you want poor quality and problems. Show less

Traded our jayco x17z haybrid for this 28bhs. Overall it was cheaply built. Screws gets loose, cabinets wont hold weight, roof started to bubbles after their 2 year warranty expired, fridge have issues running propane, queen mattress uncomfortable, sofas cushions already gone, they use staples on walls instead of screws, and the fresh water tank holder broke just this summer. Was so disappointed with jayco product, the dealer we bought it from dont carry jayco anymore because of units coming with issues and problems and issues with warranty. Will never buy nor recommend jayco anymore Show less

I would never buy anything from jayco again. First trip out closet collapsed queen bed came apart awning is coming apart bathroom sink leeks. The quality is just poor and then trying to get service ha ha. I called jayco and they laughed at my problems. You are better off buying another brand Show less

OK, I read all these negative comments and had to supply my own. Everything positive with the Jayco quality. 2020, 6 months of use, and 7,000 miles and no Jayco issues at all. Everthing worked as it should when it should. I am sorry for the problems others have had but we are good. Show less
