After purchasing a 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor, we decided to upgrade and downsize to the Jayco Jayfeather 19MRK, which is odd because the Jayco cost about the same as the Grand Design. The GD was built during the middle of the Covid pandemic, so it’s clearly a Covid Coach and it shows.
The Jayfeather was purchased November 2024 and we’ve taken a few trips and have had (knock on wood) NO issues with it. It’s a small trailer with a Murphy bed but perfect for weekend/short trips, even with one large and one small dog. I upgraded the suspension with the Morryde 3000 CRE with greasable shackles and it makes a nice improvement towing with my 2024 Ford F150 Powerboost.
The floor plan is smaller when the bed is down but once it’s up, there’s seating for 2-3 more people and we’ve had up to 8 people in it with no issues. An all around decent weekender once you upgrade the mattress (make sure to get a hinged bed).
Factory Warranty/Support receives a five star rating only because it’s 2 years. I think ALL manufacturers should offer 2 years.
