We recently bought this forest river salem fsx 181rt from a major dealer in ohio Jeff couch's RV. When it was shipped to us I found many problems right away. Apparently they don't have quality control. My refrigerator was dented in 3 places, toilet was scratched severely, poor craftsmanship throughout. My blackwater tank wasn't secured properly, there was blood in the shower and bathroom door! It looks like they threw it together overnight. Everyone is "so sorry" but don't seem to want to do much about it. We will never buy another one. Show less

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Forest River Salem FSX 170SS. The floor plan is very well thought out. I lived in it for the first three months while starting a new job. The air conditioning worked too well, and we noticed leaking from the a/c by the refrigerator. We took it in and they fixed everything. We love the design, easy to pull and space. It has held up since 2019 without any further issues. The only complaint would be to have the a/c operate in a more in between mode than super cold. Other than that, we have made many good memories with this camper. Show less
