When I first bought it, I had some issues with fit and finish, I wasn't used to the quality level of an RV verses a Yacht. After realizing that these are made to be super lite, I came to grips with the things I had to do to make the RV great. Forest River uses 3/4' staples to put all of the drawers and cabinets together along with the trim pieces. The drawer bottoms are quite thin. The over all look is very nice and appealing however with some miner tweeks these units can be made to be super nice. So I used glue and thin wooden support strips along with more staples to reinforce the areas that were coming apart because of vibration. That solved all my interior quality issues. Forest River has a really good warranty system and they do take care of their customers. For the money they are a good quality unit over all.

Custom ordered unit in 2020, picked up in 2021. From the get-go we had issues. Items added to order were not added when it arrived the dealer had to add them on site, the fit and finish was horrible, door and cabinets did not open and or close correctly, main entrance door didn't lock (the holes didn't line up). after 3 months the slide out started making noises like it was going to fall out of the camper, the front lower facia started coming off on the bottom, the propane tanks were leaking. there were Mutiple water line leaks. took it into the dealer didn't have it for almost 4 months, had to reseal multiple windows. 3 years in we opened it up after winter. did our inspection and there were multiple cracks in the roof seals. resealed them took to dealer reached out to Forest River. Should not have to completely reseal a roof on a 3 year old unit. Forest River kindly told me pound salt that the roof is my issue. FFW sitting in camper notice an odd looking spot on master bedroom wall, poke it finger goes through. open wall up entire master bedroom ceiling and walls are covered in back mold. unit had been leaking for a long time. Took back to dealer opened case with Forest River, again forest river states that I didn't do inspections on it in the time I owned it and it's my fault. Inspections we performed 3 times a year or else I wouldn't have found the need to start resealing windows. Unit is not a giant lawn ornament. I DO NOT RECCOMEND PURCHASING ON!

I recently purchased an aluminum 6x10 enclosed cargo trailer from a dealer in Ontario Canada near Toronto called Action Trailers and it was great. From the customization of the trailer to the day we picked it up the Action trailers team was great very helpful answered all of our questions and got back to us right away through emails. The trailer itself was just as we ordered a sort of enclosed cargo with some windows and a heater so we can do some ATVing and camping at the same time sort of a mini toy hauler on a budget. The quality was excellent fit and finish was great they manufacture a product that you can be happy about your purchase. Thanks Action Trailers and Forest River for a great product built in North America nice to see.

2021 Forest River Grey Wolf 18MT. Basic sticks and staples RV. First trip revealed a lot of fit and finish details that are actually terrible. First, the build dust/remnants left in cupboards/storage was unbelievable. There was no sealant around the tub faucet. If left, water damage would occur. Power awning wiring not properly secured an was pinched on first use. Outdoor kitchen refrigerator only secured with sheet metal screws. Had to buy proper screws and lock nuts and RE secure refrigerator at first overnight stop. Had a couple of bicycles strapped to carry basket at rear of trailer. Basket mounting brackets only secured with self tapping screws which sheared off. Good thing I had a drill and bits along as I had to drill 3/8” holes straight through the frame and install through bolts. Again, more time and money spent for something that should have been done at the factory. On the way home, the basket broke in half with just two bicycles on it. Meanwhile, the basket is rated for 150lbs. The two bicycles weigh in at 77lbs. Tire size is 14” which is too small. Tires are another problem. The tires are such poor quality, that I bought 5 new tires. While the trailer comes with indoor and outdoor speakers, the speakers are such poor quality, it was embarrassing to even try to listen to voice radio, let alone music. Overall, would not recommend a Forest River product.

After much shopping and weekend trips to dealers my wife and I decided on the artic wolf. The floor plan and weight/size where perfect for our needs. The overall value for the money was good and our dealer Browns RV in macbee SC was great. Every thing worked as required fit and finish was ok, I found on top of one slide not sealed at all. The major problem and a big one is how on a sunny day the heat is transferred through the aluminum frame. As measured with an ir sensor the interior walls at the frames was as much as 25 degrees hotter than other walls. They use a trade mark term to describe the amount of insulation that is deceiving in my option. Also the duel ac system is very loud and tv watching is a challenge. But for the money and options forest river has done a great job overall. We met the FR artic wolf rep at the Tampa RV show and he was very helpfull.

In Summer 2018, my wife & I enjoyed this RP-180 for a 7 week 8,000 mile trip through the Western USA, then home to Michigan. It really is the fit and finish, attention to retail that makes a Forest River product so enjoyable. Everything works as it should. It is easy to tow, even in the Rocky Mountains. Saw so many National parks and beautiful vistas. R-Dome is easy up and down, doubles the living space. We'd set up a base camp and explore the Grand Canyon, Zion National park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mount Rushmore. The room in theses great trailers is amazing. We love the dry bath being so roomy. The microwave/convection oven and stove means meals of any kind can be prepared. We enjoyed fine dining on the road! It's so easy to get in and out of RV parks and campsites with a nice maneuverable small RV. I'm sure many couple starting out with trailering will find this a great first travel trailer or the seasoned veteran wanting to downsize to a smaller unit will be very pleased that you don't give up quality.

Purchased this Travel Trailer in Anchorage for a relocation to Santa Fe with my wife and dog. I was very glad that I was carrying a full tool kit for the trip. In spite of my preparations, the trailer still ended up in a repair facility twice on the trip. The worst problems seemed to be electrical in nature and affected jack operation, trailer lighting and slide operation. After I got the trailer to Santa Fe, I continued to have continual problems with it. I had the opportunity to do a lot of maintenance/repair work on it. I got first hand experience with the build quality, craftsmanship and material quality. All of which I would rate as poor. There were fit and finish problems with the cabinetry, construction debris left under the cabinets, sloppy wiring, lack of owner documentation, loose plumbing fittings, loose hardware, etc, etc. The most significant problem was with the wiring harness. The main harness was routed through the frame supports in a V-shaped channel, with no sheathing or conduit. All thirteen wires in the harness wore through the insulation and shorted on the frame, including the primary battery feed. The issue was noticed after having the trailer for 13 months. Forest River refused to repair under warranty, even though it was an obvious manufacturing defect because the warranty had expired! On a positive note, we liked the layout of the unit and none of the major systems (refrigerator, air conditioner, heater, etc) failed while we had it. We were actually able to enjoy the unit after spending over a year fixing defects and making some upgrades. Based on my ownership experience, I cannot recommend a Forest River product and will not purchase another one.

If you are not handy and want to worry free "quality built" trailer DO NOT BUY A FOREST RIVER ! The quality is garbage, the fit and finish is horrible, the shelves are flimsy just all around very sloppy build. At first glance I fell in love with my TT I never buy new but said you know what I'm moving off grid I need something for a year I'm just going to buy new so it can be worry free. First off there is SO much wasted space for a fairly good size trailer. The cabinets can't hold any weight of they won't work right, the doors don't stay closed, the exterior looks good from 20 feet. Do your self a favor if you plan to keep it for a while get a case of silicone and go over everything that the dummy skipped from the factory, also check every single fitting, I found the kitchen sink drain was hardly hand tight. Just on the hour back from dealership screws where rolling around on the floor that fell out, light covers missing. If I had the option to return it the next day I would have but it's just not in my cards so I will go over everything and reenforce all the necessary weak links and dig in deeper to make sure the trailer is ACTUALLY SAFE. I thought about writing an email to forest river but after much research from other buyers it's a waste of time. Maybe they need to put out less units and focus on the quality of the ones they do put out! Personal I would recommend a different company I would say spend more but the unit I got was apparently the "best couples travel trailer" you can buy, boy I hope that's not true.

I purchased this 2022 Ibex 19qbs 23ft camper in,last August and I really love the floor plan. It pulls really smoothly and I even camped out in really cold weather in Southern Minnesota (-15) and was warm enough. I really like the slideout as it gives you 4ft of width in the middle of the camper. The real queen bed was immediately replaced,as it was so uncomfortable but being 60x80 was easy to replace. It is really quiet inside as the insulation is real good plus it has azdel so it won't rot under the fiberglass skin. The large fridge and air conditioner are real nice features plus the glass shower doors are nice. Now to the negatives. The quality of construction is pretty solid however parts are put together pretty sloppy. After owning the camper for less than two months two different areas of the front fiberglass skin cracked for no reason. Forest river didn't want to pay for repair, however after talking to them personally a number of times they have agreed to replace the front piece. The only problem is that was like 3 months ago! The dealer hasn't been able to get Forest River to answer their e-mails to start the repair process. The customer service at Ibex is terrible. I also have a water heater which no longer works and rust already on the frame which I will have to fix myself. Also the couch which folds down is tilting toward the floor not level so I will probably fix it myself. Lastly they only put one strut under the bed to hold it up when accessing understorage. With the fit and finish issues make sure to purchase from a good dealer like Bish RV who will stand behind the product.
