This is my 4th camper in 24 years and the absolute WORST PIECE OF CRAP of all 4. I WILL NEVER, EVER BUY ANOTHER Forest River product for the rest of my LIFE.

We have been living in this rv for almost 2 years, we have ran into so many problems jus 6 months of having it we have had water pump issues, sensor issues, electrical issues, underbelly tanks have fallen out,and now we run into problems with water heater due to them not winterizing it when we had to take it in for repairs which has been 5 times so far so we had to stay in hotels or relatives. We have had the worst experience so far. Cheaply made 2018 forest river sandpiper!!

Never buy a Wildcat Maxx RV. They have the worst craftsman ship, lousiest warranty. Things started to go bad within the first year. Electrical problems which occured in hot weather. Refrigerator stopped working and air conditioning was non existent. After one year plumbing connectors started to loosen and plumbing leaked water. Front top faded and the manufacture knew it would. Got extended warranty which covered nothing. Don't buy Wildcat Maxx b forest river at all. I cannot emphasize enough how bad their Wildcat Maxx units are.

The RV itself is good. However I can't recommend them because of very poor customer service. I have an electrical problem. I went through a dealer to get a wiring schematic. The dealer forwarded the email in which Forest River refused to give me one. A subsequent phone call to the dealer revealed that Forest River will not supply the mechanics with one. This makes it more time consuming for them to find and correct problems which means more expense for the consumer. This is a far cry from having any concern for their consumers. They talk a mean ball game and have a beautiful website that leads you to believe they care about you. When the rubber meets the road they could care less. A wiring schematic can not be of a proprietary concern. Thus it is a clear indication of their lack of concern for consumers. The dealer in this case tried their best to accomodate me.

Purchased this unit NEW! Brand new look for the 23DBH. Camper seems very nice. Have had no problems as of yet. No electrical or water problems. No trim moldings coming off. Seems to be what you would expect from a new camper. Excellent value for the normal American family. We have used camper only once at very end of season and had 0 issues. Everything worked as it should. We are keeping it in our driveway covered with an all-climate winter cover. We have now properly winterized this unit according to Forest River instruction. We look forward to and expect many years of enjoyment from this unit with the proper expected care that is involved with camper ownership.

We've had nothing but problems since we bought it. Wheel skirts are cheaply made and break off in transit. The water pump continually has issues. Our electrical panel and the primary plug in cord has issues and although electrical, it is not considered electrical under the warranty. The slider had issues as well as the switch to operate it. The black and grey water outlets/pumps have had issues. The awning and awning arms have had issues and have been repaired twice. The hitch jack had to be replaced. The stabilizer jacks, all of them, had to be replaced. Interior issues, staples popping out, things falling off, breaking off in transit. Lighting issues on the inside. I could go on an on, the never ends. Now we're stuck with financing on something not worth ten cents on the dollar. We're on the road now and had to stop and spend an hour on the side of the interstate to tie down an awning arm that broke in the wind and had our awning flapping. Thanks to a trucker who noticed and honked to get our attention. Primetime/Forest River makes good looking products but they ABSOLUTELY SUCK in the execution of those products in regards to quality, value and longevity. We had problems the first time we used the trailer and keep spending money to continually fix issues that both the manufacturer, the warranty company and the Retailer always seem to find a way NOT to cover it. We most likely after this last incident will be suing ALL of them...and no, we don't make that statement lightly, we fully intend to sue them at this point. DO NOT, NOT, NEVER, BUY A Primetime/Forest River product. That's our two cents.

My husband and I had to purchase a unit because of a leased home that was filled with toxic mold that started shutting my organs down. My husband is a Veteran and is now working in Iraq for the Embassy. We purchased in Dec. 2018 and have had nothing but problems. We have never owned or even been in a 5th wheel and it was a hurry up and find a place within 48 hours. It was bad enough what we were going thru but to sell us a lemon unit that they did not stand by is horrific. It had a propane leak inside the unit and was pushing propane directly into the bedroom. The lights outside didn't work and the belly of the unit was leaking water. I sent a video to the dealer and Forest River and while I was in the hospital for treatments I pd 500.00 to have the unit returned and fixed. They jerryrigged the belly and they didn't even fix what was wrong. Now the unit has an electrical short and so Forest river sent one of their techs out and he said "take this unit back to the dealer, it dangerous". They didnt like that so wanted to send another. NO FOREST RIVER!!!! you don't get to play with my life. I'm disgusted by Chaparral, Coachman and Forest River. How can they sleep at night with how they treat customers. DO NOT BY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They sell a cheap product and dont stand behind it. Shame on you!!!!!!!

I did a lot of research before settling on forest river; and I knew that this was their bottom of the line model, but I was given no choice. The first time I hooked up to water was also the last time any water ever worked in this trailer. In mine, which named itself Titanic, you can’t leave anything plugged in anywhere, whether the item is on or not, because the outlets ALL overheat. It’s not JUST the electrical outlets- you can’t trust the USB ports, either. And if you have the extra bad luck of needing USB ports that actually DO anything, I have to say, buy a Thor motor coach. I can watch my iPad battery drain while it’s plugged into ANY of the myriad, utterly useless USB ports in this Tin Can O’ Death. Those are not, unfortunately, the only problems. The roof actually leaks, the screen doors don’t stay closed, the door locks can’t be trusted, because the doors will still pop open when they’re “locked”, even though the trailer is level. As far as I’ve been able to discern, there is no actual support from forest river to the consumer. No phone #, no website support, and well, just no support. So, to recap: it sucks, it’s DEFINITELY a safety hazard, and once forest river gets your money, you’re on your own, no matter if you’re still within the first SIX MONTHS, or what level of their “protection” you bought. Not buying forest river EVER again, and I plan on upgrading frequently.

“Lemon”, I had several problems with my 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2509S within four months of ownership. The rv dealership I had made my purchase sold to another company. It was and still is extremely difficult to get Forest River Customer Service’s help to get anything repaired and or replaced. The reason behind all of the numerous problems I have with my Rockwood mini lite I was told is because of the Covid and the dealership didn’t do their duty of inspections neither because of the Covid. No one wants to admit the truth for the shoddy workmanship of installation, and using cheap low quality materials that continually fall apart. I have screws back out, the metal that was used is all rusting. I have malfunctioning electrical connections and outlets. I have a malfunctioning power awning, gaping and sagging slide out, faulty water system, and the list goes on and on. My 2022 Rockwood mini lite is a safety and health hazard and I can’t use it in this condition neither sell it in this conditions . I was told the repairs for the labor and replacement of many parts is going to cost in the thousands of dollars. Please spread the word and don’t make my mistake by purchasing a rv by Forest River-Rockwood.
