We have owned two different Fleetwood RVs - one Bounder and one Pace Arrow. The Winnebago Adventurer is tighter, doesn't rattle, more features, better quality, and overall just a better RV than either one of the Fleetwood products. I would recommend the Winnebago RV over a Fleetwood RV hands down. We have had very few mechanical problems, and the ones we had were minor. We are very happy with our Winnebago motor home. Great product, and reliablity.

We have enjoyed using our Discovery 39G. We haven't ran into any big problems and we have had it for two years now. I would definitely recommend purchasing the extra five year warranty and the clear coat and seating protection just in case. With any rv you have a chance of something breaking which can be costly. We like Fleetwood as the rv's are great quality and look for the price. We would but Fleetwood again in the future.

I am having problems with the coolant overflow tank crumbling causing coolant to leak out. I first noticed this in the middle of a long western US vacation during the heat of the summer. After researching the issue, it is a know problem within the plastic in which the tanks are made. They decompose under UV sunlight. a small portion of my tank is exposed to the sunlight, right where the issue has occurred. I promptly contacted Fleetwood RV and asked for some kind of help, being it is a know issue and there have been thousands of complaints. They offered no support whatsoever. Not even an apology, even though they acknowledge there is a defect with the plastic compound they utilize. I further discovered that they changed the plastic compound to prevent decomposition in UV sunlight. They told me if they replaced mine, they'd have to replace everyone's. Well, that's kinda what they should do seeing is a manufacturer's defect AND how much a Fleetwood Class A motorhome cost. So, now I'm at the mercy of whatever repair facility I choose will charge me. I have estimates of $1, 000 . Although the tank is only $100, the labor to replace the tank is extensive. I am disgusted at Fleetwood. I've owned several Fleetwood products in my life and have have very good luck with them and generally very support from Fleetwood, until now. I WILL NEVER, EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER FLEETWOOD RV PRODUCT AGAIN! NOR WILL I RECOMMEND A FLEETWOOD RV PROECT TOANYONE WHO ASKS.

This machine has been my AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, not the American Dream. On the outside, quality looks good, but I don't believe that they have a QC team. Too many problems with Hydraulics, cameras, awnings, and slides. Warranty service stinks. Mine is still in the shop after 2 1/2 months to fix the initial shakeout problems. It appears that Fleetwood takes the stance that your RV is a luxury item, and that you can wait to get warranty work and parts. new production and sales 1st and screw the warranty claims

Willis RV service sucks, they’re service sucks and it is my opinion that they are a buncha crooks. Enough said!

We bought this RV brand new when we retired have been loving it...we are snowbirds and have spent acouple years on the road. Livability is very excellent the electronics are all tied together work great. Fleetwood for the first two years took care of all the problems yes it's a pain driving over to there but they were willing to fix everything.... just like buying a car there's lemons in everything mechanical... It's not a Prevost but then again it's only a hundred thousand not five hundred thousand. Most of the people that have problems with their motorhomes aren't handy at fixing anything, and that really helps. The maintenance has to be fun to do. Hope this helps good luck...

We LOVE our 31UL even though we had several PDI items to correct. I was skeptical to purchase because of the negative reviews I was finding. We have not had a minutes worth of problems. I am still waiting for parts from the PDI since we are 5 hrs from dealer. I would buy another JAYCO if need be.

We recently returned from an 87 day, 13 states, 7,200 mile trip including a drive over the highest paved road in the country. The Fleetwood Storm performed remarkably well and we absolutely had no mechanical problems. We dinghy towed the whole way. The outside amenities that include a 50 inch TV, Weber grill and a built-in cooler are the highlights of this unit. We also were able to sleep our three grandkids comfortably while they were with us. It has been a remarkable RV...but health concerns have made it necessary for someone else to enjoy this great unit. Superb for athletic events and hunting trips. The new owner is in for quite a surprise.

Bought my RV "new". Previous owner had it 1 month. Returned it with nearly a dozen factory issues. Dealer put it right back on the lot. I found out about the previous owner's problems when I found all their personal paperwork in the coach. Returned the RV for repairs. It took the dealer 8 months to fix everything and they still weren't done. Now for the coach. Dash bounces nearly 2 inches in the vertical. Found out through other forums the bolts holding the chassis to the body were actually broken inside the engine compartment, not the dash. Nearly every water line leaked. Exterior shower head was broken. Interior dash fans are so loud you can hardly hold a conversation. Refrigerator doors wouldn't stay closed. Had to add locks. House batteries were not interconnected properly. These were all factory issues that Fleetwood, nor, REVGroup would fix. Many issues were covered under warranty, but still could not find fixes.
