Purchased a 2021 coachmen Catalina legacy edition by forest river brand new from bluegrass rv of Lexington KY. Was purchased to live in while we search for land and build a house. Currently have been in it for less than 2 weeks and pretty disappointed. Within the first night the water heater fittings started leaking and flooded the floor at the kitchen. Called around to get it fixed under warranty and the only way I could is to bring it to the dealer which is impossible considering we’re living in it. So contacted forest river corporate and left a message and still no response so I had to fix it myself. The bedroom slide on one side sweats terribly and is definitely going to cause problems down the road. Woke up this morning to one of the factory living room blinds laying in the floor. It had just pulled the screws right out of the wall so had to fix that best I could. Other than that it’s just a lot of small details that are cheaply done compared to a bigger name like keystone or jayco. But obviously your going to pay for it. For the price it’s a nice camper as far as the layout, room, and storage but for over 30,000 I shouldn’t have these problems within the first 2 weeks. So personally wouldn’t recommend buying a coachmen and definitely wouldn’t recommend buying from bluegrass RV Show less

We bought our 2019 Coachmen Catalina 243 RBS new. I have to tell you, it's been nothing but problems. First the air conditioner on the roof wasn't tightened down and when it rained, we had to put a bucket under it. The repair shop said they could almost turn it sideways, that's how loose it was. Second issue was rain dripping on us while we were sleeping. The seal in the front where the roof meets the metal needed to be caulked all over. I did that myself. This happened twice. Third, the switch on the power jack went out and I had to replace that. Fourth, the factory didn't caulk one side of the travel trailer. The dealership noticed that when we brought it in to have the air-conditioner tightened. Fifth, one day we noticed they didn't even bother to put trim where the floor and wall meet. They did it in some areas and not others. I would have to say that I am disappointed in the workmanship of this travel trailer. I would tell anyone that is considering buying any travel trailer or RV, to buy one that is a couple of years old. Otherwise it'll sit in the shop half the time getting repairs done. Show less
