Slides inop! Only way to control you need to take the control box off the wall and do a series of tasks to get it in and out. Jacks work on occasion! Slide out is ruining the floor with black streaks. LP hose kinked to 180 degrees. The radio goes in and off at will. Wiper reservoir motor was not installed. Jack pump electrical cable not affixed to a ground. Can’t believe they would let this off the assembly line. Deal said they did a PDI. Allegedly! I’ve owned 6 new coaches. By far the worst. Absolutely no quality. Would never ever buy one again. I understand all coaches have issues. It’s how you correct them is what Fleetwood lacks!

This is our 2nd fifth wheel and we were amazed from the day we took it home how well it tows. It doesn't chuck at all...our previous did...and that was with a standard pin box. We ordered ours and it only had some cosmetic issues examples are one of the dinette chairs had a short leg and we felt the sofa cushions weren't wearing well...Heartland customer service is excellent...they replaced both with no questions asked. What's great about Heartland is you can work with them directly rather than just through a dealer. This model is very residential-like...lots of kitchen cabinets, a large center island, large entertainment center, sofa and recliners and lots of walking space in the living area. The bath is great as well because it has a lot of storage and a Mega bath shower. We also like that the kitchen and bath are fully accessible when the slide-outs are in making travel so much better.

Purchased end of March, 2019. Had it back to dealer in 3 days due to poorly done caulking in front corners of roof, as well as noticing an inch long hole in roof exterior lining at the base of the rear bathroom exhaust cover. (Dealer rep would not allow me to crawl on top during dealer orientation to check out the roof.) After 3 weeks at dealer took out for first camp out. But alas, could not fill fresh tank due to water spitting back out as tried filling. After an hour and half of looking discovered that the vent air tube above the tank was kinked in two spots. I eventually cut off 10 inches of tubing so that it was smooth and air could escape during fills. We also began hearing a major squeak when I got into the bed. We discovered that the main support board was curved upward & needed to be tacked down better. Then during our entire 3 week May trip to NC coast - I constantly struggled to maintain air pressure in the rear duals. Finally was told we were missing a valve stem nut for inner tire valve, which allowed the stem to be pushed away from air gauge and air chuck. And the valve stems on the outside tires were curved swung away from air gauge & chuck. Besides the normal drawers that would not stay latched a piece of the wall, inside the media outlets cupboard, had come un-attacked and hung out. Then, after three months and another camp out we discovered that the roof rubber was bubbling much more than the "normal" 20%, and, the rear closet wall as also now bulging out. Also: the ceiling exhaust fan near the oven stopped working and we were told it was wired wrong - and, underneath the entry step the exterior protective material began hanging down - quite noticeably. In all, the unit was back at the dealership 2 of the 6 months we owned it.
I'm also going to add that, in my opinion, the driver and passenger seats are not the best for folk close to 6 ft, or over, as we. Sitting long term became extremely uncomfortable and was most challenging to get in and out of. Also, the engine noise was quite loud and the engine housing became overly hot to the touch, particularly in shorts. Thankfully our dealership fought for all repairs, via warranty. So after six months we tired of continually needing repairs, et.al, and had become sceptical of the units manufactured process, considered it a lemon and were greatly concerned about future issues. Thus we "bit the bullet" ...took a loss and traded it in for a Jayco Class C. So far, the difference in quality is quite noticeable.

Traded our 2012 Winnabego View Profile in because of maintenance costs. We loved our View but was just to expensive to maintain so we decided to downgrade to a travel trailer. We looked at a lot of product and finally decided to go with the Kodak Express.
Big mistake. Several issues have come up since we made the purchase. There were several cosmetic issues with it before we brought it home. The dealer took care of all of those issues and we brought it home. After bringing it home we decided we would christen it by taking out for its first road trip. Everything went well on the first night out but then on the second day the nightmare started. On the second day we set up at our camp site then went inside to get things set up in there. At that point all hell broke loose. The slide out made a loud squealing sound as it was extended and it vibrated like it was on a road full of chuck holes. We did get it out but we should have realized that was a sign of things to come. After that we were setting up in the bedroom only to find out that it was leaking like crazy above the bed. We eventually had to buy a tarp to cover the whole front end of the trailer. That was a fiasco and a whole nuther story. So we got it covered and after an hour or so the leaking stopped and we were able to dry things up and change bedding so we could use the bed to sleep. And it just kept coming. When my wife opened the closet door in the bathroom and the whole door fell off. Then I went to put something in the drawer in the same area the drawer came off the drawer guides and I was unable to get it to stay. So we had to pack everything up and head home early. I did call the dealer and of course there was nothing they could do for us. So on the way home we dropped it off at the dealer to get all the issues taken care of.
After all the problems were addressed we brought it home and parked it until we were getting to take it out again. Reservations made we started loading it up and testing everything. I rolled out the awning and it made a funny noise as it was going out so I had my wife start to roll the awning back in while I watched to see where the noise was coming from. Well as soon as she hit the in switch the motor side of the awning came completely apart and came down a hit me smack in the head. Still waiting for parts to repair it.
Needless to say we are not happy with the manufacturer. We will see where this goes from here.

Brand new Feb 17, 2016 ... we selected all extras ... put 3200 miles on it in 3 weeks ... fabulous performance ... the Mercedes 3500 Chassis is outstanding & diesel engine purrrrrrs along at all speeds including 70s on Interstates across Nebr/Colo/New Mexico/Ariz/Nev/Utah ... 13-14 mpg ... Mercedes handles mountains nicely ... runs smoothly & quietly. The rear & side-view video systems are VERY helpful! The handling & maneuverability is really special! Love everything about the interior ... great features ... over cab bunk is spacious ... two TVs are well placed ... terrific windows throughout ... including 2 on each side of the over-cab bunk ... we like the ability to close off queen bed sleeping area as well as bathroom when desired from front area. Get the upgraded memory foam bed--it is really comfortable! Kitchen is well designed with great functionality & appliances. The sink is large/deep/attractive/functional with an extra pop-up counter to its left for added counter space. The electric systems are outstanding ... whether plugged in at RV park or camping without external electricity supply the seamless interaction with the 12 volt batteries & generator is very efficient. The refrigerator provides a comfortable amount of storage & operates by simply pushing the "on" button & "auto" button ... no need to select temperatures or to deal with which power supply is used. The sliding glass door in the shower is a really nice touch for looks/entry/exit & space. The outside storage is the best you can find in a Class C ... 75 cubic feet with easy access ... the storage compartment all the way across the back of the RV with 3 access doors is really GREAT! The cab seats are very stylish/comfortable & they both swivel around with ease--provides expanded seating which is important! We love the outside shower--mostly for cleaning off as needed after outdoor activities before entering the RV. The 2 slides operate with push-button ease & provide good space for a 25 foot Class C RV--very pleased with this. The numerous electric outlets are well placed throughout & lighting is really good--both inside & outside! The USB outlets for charging electronics is a very functional feature! The Propane Aussie Grill is a nice size compromise for use & storage--buy an extended hose so it can be placed away from the RV & awning (the supplied one is only 3 feet long!). The awning is another great feature & is just a push button away ... terrific lighting on both sides of RV. Because of the rear slide out for the queen bed there cannot be a ladder attached to the back of the RV ... (we purchased a Telescoping 14' ladder (very compact for storage in back) to access the roof which has worked fine for us). The electronics/TVs/Sound system/inside & outside speakers/navigation/radio/etc. cover it all! We love our Mercedes Diesel Forrest River MBS RV & Eric Hodes & other employees at RVOne in Florida for their great assistance throughout our purchasing process & after! Thank You, Chuck & Mary
