We bought ours Used...We have taken it to Big Bend...Hill Country several times and South Texas without any problems.... We loved our trips...You do need to check your seals on the exterior every year...but that would be with all RV's. for yearly maintenance. The wood quality for the cabinets and the refrigerator wood front is a plus. There are tons of cabinets and storage. We updated our RV to Flat screens and a Ceramic toilet so it feels more like home. And updated the window treatments. Replaced the glass in all the glass cabinet doors. Updated the door pulls in the kitchen. With 7 in our group...we quickly outgrew our RV and moved up to a 42' Forest River....and Love it!!!

I purchase my Big Country 14 months ago. My wife and I have enjoyed our RV and have found it very comfortable. The issue is I was washing my Big Country and notice a wavy look above both cogo hatches. I took it to the RV dealership we purchase our unit. After careful inspection the service tech said the fiberglass siding has delamination from water damage. The cost for the repairs will be $7,000. I have no choice but pay for the repairs because it's 2 months out of warranty. I will not buy another Heartland product.

We bought our RV in November 2018. My husband was retiring June 2019. This was to be our retirement pleasure to see the country. Big Purchase. We have had many issues, and was in the shop a lot! However, I have to be honest, Thor was awesome, responding quickly with the many issues we experienced. I cried a lot, was just very disappointing. But zthor was their to help, every time. Mike Thompson Santa Fe Spring General Manager, always ready to help. Cares about his customers. Thor head person for customer service, was a wonderful person. He was right there every time. Just a phone call away. Always very pleasant. Made the problems with the RV, a little easier to deal with. Kudos! Mark and Brian 😎

We retired 3 years ago and decided to purchase this RV for a cross country trip we had dreamed about. We are 2nd owners, having purchased it from our daughter and son-in-law who used it minimally. We have taken our RV on short-term weekend trips in the Adirondacks, spent a winter in it in FL and then drove cross-country last year to Yellowstone. All our experiences were very special and totally enjoyable. At 31.7 feet, the RV is easy to drive and navigate, even for my wife. It is big enough to provide comfortable living space for a long period of time, as we discovered on our 50-day cross country trip last year. There is no better way to see our beautiful country than in an RV. It is also styled to accommodate our two grandsons, who love a trip or two with their grandparents during the summer. Our RV has 23,000 memorable miles and looks forward to its next experience with new owners.

Love my RV!!! Have gone across the country and back 3 times with son, wife, and dogs. It’s great! We can city camp (park anywhere and it’s okay) and camp in big national parks. It’s easy to dive without being too big. This is my favorite camper I’ve ever owned. Used to have the big 40’ class As but hated having to tow which made us 60’ long. Being only 25’ total without the need to tow is awesome!

I've owned seven RV's and have over half million miles driving and usually towing race cars to tracks across the country. There is no better RV anywhere near the price of the Southwind 32VS. It looks and feels like the big expensive rigs. I especially like the extra large tank capacities for long weekends without hookups. Ford V-10 is unmatched for a gas motor. Storage is excellent. We have had essentially no problems with this RV. Quality is tops.

I purchased this unit new 2022 Big Country in Nov 2023 "Brand New". We purchased just before moving out of state. Our idea was to live in it while looking for our forever home. Well, we started having quality issues within the first month. Since we're living in it, we're not able to take it in for service. So... I paid a local mobile RV Repair company to fix the issues (awning motor, recliner motor, fridge won't keep temp, leaking hydraulic line, leaking fittings,) the straw that killed us staying in the camper LEAKING ROOF. I mean it two of the slide outs leaked bad, come to find out, my RV guy told me the roof was not installed correctly. We ended up moving into an AirBB and taking the camper to Camping World for service. Come to find out after 90 days, any leaky roof issues are your's. That's right, a 90 day warranty against leaks. I have significant water damage and no warranty coverage. The warranty states you're responsible for maintaining the roof "general maintenance" .
I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THE HEARTLAND BRAND. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, WARRANTY ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER IT'S WRITTEN ON.

They have better fuel economy are much easier to maneuver and are more multipurpose than their bigger brothers. If you are. Weekend camper and only go a few hundred miles a month, get a big RV. But if you want to see the country and be efficient the sprinter is for you. You can park it anywhere and it leaves you more options to live like you want to.
