Great floor plan, optimum size and layout for hauling and hosting a young family. Generous fresh, grey and black water storage. Great patio conversion, kitchen and decent seating area. Probably the worst assembly quality out there. Customer service turnover rediculous bordering on morons. Leaks because of incorrect sizing of fittings, thrown together hoses. Fuel station problems, NO STORAGE. Additionally bad wiring in control panel. The componentry is excellent but assembly the worst! It's a shame since it could be the best RV out there. Another Berkshire Hathaway company gone wrong!

We purchased a brand new Voltage 3850 and took it out the very first weekend. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, especially for an $80,000 unit that was supposedly ready to use. Right out of the gate, we discovered the black and gray tanks were labeled backwards. While boondocking, what we thought was draining shower water turned into a much bigger and unpleasant issue. That’s a basic quality control miss that should never happen. Next, the A/C units wouldn’t keep the camper below 80°F—even though it was only 82°F outside. After digging into it, we found the thermostats were wired incorrectly from the factory, causing the compressors not to kick on—only the fans would run. Again, another major oversight that should have been caught before delivery. Then the first night, just as we were trying to fall asleep, the light above the bed started strobing on and off. It would stop just long enough to think it was fixed, then start again. Extremely frustrating and unacceptable for a brand new unit. To top it off, the “14 ft garage” is actually closer to 13 ft 5 in. That’s not a small discrepancy when you’re planning around space for equipment or toys. Overall, this experience has made it clear that quality control is seriously lacking. For the price point, there’s no excuse for this many issues right out of the box. Buyers should be prepared to thoroughly inspect everything themselves before relying on it.

We are full timers and our Valor 44v14 is our fourth trailer, and by far the worst so far. We bought this trailer because we fell in love with the floor plan and loved the large garage since we have two small children. The day we brought it home it has been problem after problem and it hasn't even been two weeks. We already have had to file a warranty claim for a list of problems that need to be fixed. It seems this trailer was just thrown together cheaply. Paint is already coming off, trim is detaching, the backsplash in the kitchen isn't secured, none of the blinds are installed correctly, the bed came broken, the roof had bubbles in it, slides aren't working. We realized the bathroom doors don't have magnets to close or locks; the doors aren't installed straight so you have a huge gap, it looks awful and can't be fixed unless we get all new doors. Not to mention the barn doors are awful, I have no idea why they moved away from pocket doors. If you're considering buying an Alliance, you need to do your research, be handy at fixing problems all the time or don't buy one.

We purchased this unit used last year. The toilet in the back dumps into the grey tank that is the same rear tank for the bath sink, the washer hookup and the kitchen sink. That is so nasty. We contacted Forest river and they said they didn't know about it as it was a long time ago. We did several flushes with colored water to confirm this was correct. What a health hazard. Needless to say we will not be using the rear toilet. We flushed it out till it was clear. If you purchase a camper with rear bath, make sure it has a rear black tank.

We decided to buy another Grand Design RV after our first GD was so well built. Man, a lot has changed! From the day we bought the RV there has been nothing but issues. The dealership has had it more than 7 months of the last 14 months. 3 of the 4 four brakes didn't;t work the day we bought it, but the dealership told me to go buy a fuse for my truck and sent me on my way. From the beginning our list of issues included; Front door not closing correctly garage entry door not closing correctly marker lights not working rear brake light intermittent working gas fill station won't take gas tears in roof bubbled out wall panels electrical outlet not mounted propoerly trim falling off trim not cut to correct length seem tape coming off on various walls shower rail not caulked at all and leaking water caulk hardened in sink Front door let light pass through the door because they're was no foam in part of the door. Under rear of garage metal is already rusting stair rail was loose on inside stair rail on outside rusted Those were just some of the issue, but we had to have them repaired multiple times. The fuel station still doesn't fill correctly, and we have had to bring it back many times for repairs to be redone. While the repairs are a problem with the dealership, GD has done little to nothing to make things right. Where as we used to be big fans of GD, we will be looking at other brands now for our next RV.

Bought this unit brand new in 2022 for a way to keep my wife going on motorcycle trips. The first trip i went on one of the benches that was never used ripped the whole inner wall off. Getting the dealer to cover it was an absolute nightmare, but they finally did. The second year I noticed some bowing in the siding, being new to RV'ing I shrugged it off as just normal. This is the year I noticed how cheap everything inside is. Poor placement of everything, worthless bench seats that have both been removed because they fell off the walls again. Theres no storage space and even less tie down options for a toy hauler. Now here we are beginning of the camping season 2026, that siding has now completely failed. Jayco's response with a $4000 extended warranty, "f**k you! outta warranty!" $6000 repair, the camper is hardly worth that. Thankfully im able to do this repair myself using screws instead of swingline staples. DONT BUY JAYCO!!!!!!

Pro's Nice layout, easy loading, decent kitchen for a toy hauler and exceptional bathroom. Euro chairs are comfy and nice window coverage. Patio option is a nice extra. Another big pro is the large 90 gal fresh water tank. Cons: cheap door latch/lock handle(plastic) broke on first trip, couldn't latch door from inside. black tank flush did not work due to kink in the flex pipe which was obviously done on purpose during install because the flex pipe used was too short to connect without kinking it. Despite going to Goodyear Endurance on other models years ago, this toy hauler has Westlake tires. So GD decided to cut corners in safety(Tires) and security(Door latch) IMO. Water pump and winterization bypass switch are not easily accessible. One arm blind access, not under sink like most. Murphy bed with metal benches is too heavy and should have hydraulic assist, the concept of the fold down benches sounds good in theory but not practical in practice so I removed them entirely.

We purchased this RV spring 2024 new , never sold til we bought it. We received a email.from Keystone stating the first year warranty was about to expire. So we did a complete inspection and found the rubber roof was bubbling bad . We took photos of this as well photos of other defects and sent them to Keystone. . We had experienced finding water puddles inside the RV in a couple locations. Below where the air conditioner is and between the washer and the pantry opposite the washroom. We took photos of the roof and we'll the interior trim pieces coming off and a few other things and reported it to Keystone. After we took it to the dealer for inspection, the dealer sent in photos the Keystone. Keystone Denise the claim evern though the RV was within its first year of warranty. We had to authorize the dealer to complete all the repairs and asked the dealer to send photos and reports to us and Keystone. The dealers techs found the rubber roof was not installed or sealed properly. Interior panels rotting and mold covered when removed in several areas. Since the repairs are currently ongoing as I write this, Keystone now has offered to cover 10 hrs labour and all the materials. But the original quote was 40 hrs labour and these findings have increased the labour time. If I could post photos of all this on here I would. Wee are going to sue Keystone ass well register complains with consumer affairs. Keystones.warrenty isn't worth the paper it's written on. This is our second Keystone toy hauler RV. Our first qaaa a 2015 Keystone Carbon. It was a really good RV and I wish now we had kept it. Jim and Karen . Very disappointed!

This 5th wheel makes me feel like Tom Hanks in The Money Pit. Everyday it is something else. I wonder if Keystone has considered a quality control program. The furnace is out, the water pump pushes the water back out the same way it was put in, the paint is flaking off of the unprimed metal framing around the ramp door, the trim inside the camper has already had to be reinstalled, the locks for the access panels come out when operated, etc. What makes this so sad is the camper was purchased in December 2025, brand new off the lot, and has only been towed for one trip at 600 miles(+/-). And don’t even get me started on the most useless document ever published, the Owners Manual. Most definitely the worst money I have ever spent.
