I purchased a 1999 Aerolite 36 ft. travel trailer. It was sold to me as new. After returning home and prepping my new home for travel I noticed a weak are in the floor. I returned the trailer to Register Rv a 2.5 hour drive.I received a call from Mr. Register the following day telling me there was water damage from the outside shower seal due to rain. After driving back to Register and doing my own investigation I was suspicious. After returning home I called the DMV to find out I had purchased a used trailer. It was sold new in 2018 and sold again as new to me in March 2020.I was scammed. I was to meet with an attorney on Thursday. On Wednesday I made another trip to Register and met with the sales manager. He denied my accusations but I told him I will meet with my attorney tomorrow. I said I want a full refund plus $500.00 for my time and trouble or I will see you in court. I received my check and left. The salesman, snd the sales manager were both a part of this scam. Probably a few others were involved but I cannot say for sure. I learned from this experience to check vin numbers before purchasing a new RV. Call the DMV.
