Bought a new 2022 Forest River Heritage Glen Hyper-Lyte 23BHHL for $43,000 in March 2022. Since then, we have had nothing but issues with the trailer. Some parts took a year to come in and inspection on the trailer was never done prior to the sale. Every time we brought it to Longview RV Superstore, East Windsor, CT to make the numerous repairs, we were dealt with rudeness and hostility. This trailer had been in their shop more than we have had the opportunity to use it. In November, when we had it winterized and seal tested (as required under the Forever Warranty) as well as repairs to the awning lights, we told them we wouldn't need it until March. When we called the service department to tell them we would be picking it up, the serviceman was extremely rude and said the trailer wasn't ready. They advised us we needed a new awning, but they never ordered it. I had to call Forest River and was told they ok'd the awning under warranty in January, but Longview never ordered it. It wasn't until after my phone calls that it was finally ordered. We asked to trade it in (due to it being a lemon) and "Todd" offered us $25,000 for it. When I disputed the fact, he told me to take the trailer elsewhere for service from now on. We spoke to the owner, who said it was "all water under the bridge" but made sure all issues were addressed. "Steve" and "Mike" were great to deal with, but the others need training in customer service.

Longview RV is AMAZING!!! Our sales guys: Jake and Brian, they listened to what we were looking for in an RV and didn't stop until they found EXACTLY what we were looking for. They took the time and energy to totally satisfy us. The day we picked up our new travel trailer, Brian came in (on his DAY OFF) to ensure that the deal was closed with complete satisfaction! Our walk-thru with Ryan . . all I can say is FABULOUS! He also took the time and energy to answer all of our questions and ensure we totally understood. He stayed right to the end, to seal the deal, an ensure 100% satisfaction. Ryan stayed while the parts/service department installed our stabilization hitch. All of these gentlemen took the time to show us specifically how to do everything that we will need to get our travel trailer on the road when we head out on our adventures. A great big thanks to Longview RV!!

I reside in Texas and bought a travel trailer from Longview RV Superstores while working jn Connecticut on September 10,2017. The dealership gave me the paperwork to register it with the Texas DMV but gave me the wrong title. They contacted me about the mix up and I attempted to fix the VIN myself at the Texas DMV. However, the Texas tax assessor stated it was the duty of the dealership to fix the issue. My lien holder was notified and sent back the incorrect title to Long View RV Superstore. Since then, they still have not addressed the wrong VIN with the Texas DMV. I have been in contact with both the lien holder and the dealership but no progress has been made for almost four years. I guess once they have your money, they don't care. I'm taking the steps I can to resolve this but this is literally their job and they jacked it up royally.

Beware of the dishonesty that now seems to be prevalent throughout the Long View RV dealership in Windsor Locks CT. We agreed to purchase a new travel trailer. After providing a credit card as a deposit, and while running our credit (which is exceptional), they sold the camper to a different buyer a few days later. Their solution? Wait two weeks for a different unit to come in and they would provide free delivery. A $250 credit. Wow. Thanks but no thanks. This is how they treat a return customer as this would have been our second unit from them.
