Lazy Days Chief Executive Officer is named John North, Jeff Dillard the general manager suggested we write a story about a pubic hair named John that went on adventures and ended up in customers coaches, so we did and it’s going viral on social media. Please do not let these people ruin your dreams and steal your hard earned money like they did to us.

We bought a new 2023 Dynamax from this dealer and it has had nothing but problems from the start. We have had multiple engine light issues (one prior to delivery and again after taking delivery) and the tire pressure monitoring does not work. A Dodge dealer up in Minnesota they couldn't replicate and it still does not work. They do not provide warranty service on the chassis and it is nearly impossible to find a Dodge dealer that will work on it given its length and size (we have called several dealers in the Tampa area and none of them will work on it). Lazy Days has only provided names of dealers that have told us they cannot work on it. We have had to bring it back in as the rear slide out is not working (we were told this was repaired twice before, once prior to delivery and then when it didn't work when we went to pick it up, they said they repaired it again). The dealer has been less than accommodating in resolving this matter and will not let me speak to their management. My recommendation is to stay away!

You can expect the incorrect part will be ordered and not uncommon to wait weeks or months for a part to arrive and be installed. I would suggest doing anything you can to avoid Lazy Days and Thor products in general, horrific is not a strong enough word for these two companies.

We had a very trying aka terrible experience will Lazydays Tampa. Poor communications, RV not ready, parts not available etc. We get there on Thursday and get out of town on following Tuesday with issues still not fixed but ordered. We told We could get it fixed at their expense like it was no big deal. Now we will be making 2 hour trip to get it 2023 fixed at Tiffin. Coach is used w 6000 miles. They think this is good service? I asked for higher up manager. Was told he was too busy! I walked to his office and he is sitting they staring at computer. He was zero help. Tiffin would be appalled w conditions they were going to send this coach out to us. We would have walked away but were 600 miles from home w no car. We like our unit and do feel like we got a good deal but will not recommend this dealership.

The absolute worst experience ever. I traded in a 2013 Class A Coachman Encounter for a 2022 Tiffin Open Road. The salesman was good. Everything after that has been horrible. The epitome of getting getting your money and that’s it. The “after the sale “ service is non existent . Impossible to get service dates scheduled , warranty issues that have not been addressed and are now outside the warranty and tons of things that have gone wrong including , the front grill has fallen off, both out windshield wipers literally just fell off while driving ( what are the chances of that ), rubber seal around the slide out has come loose and a we recently found a leak in the basement.. I also have a broken facade on the slide that was broken when I bought it. Still not corrected .I am not a first time buyer so I get things happen however, not to being to get support is not how I expected the relationship with Lazy Days to play out. I would highly recommend staying away and work with a smaller dealership. If your purchase doesn’t fall into the club range you also get deprioritized… lastly, RV’s produced during Covid lacking quality workmanship is a real thing . Disappointed RVer

After selling our RV to the dealership Lazy Days went back on their word and did not honor a signed contract. On inspecting our RV an issue was found with a slide and Lazy Days took a $1000 off of the agreed price. We agreed after some back and forth negotiations with Shane (the sales person) shared they would have to fix or in his words (eat it) if other issues were found upon further inspection. Since the check was already made out for the agreed amount, we had to agree in the contract on a check to be overnighted for a $1000 less. Contract was amended and then signed and the RV was then taken away. The following day we contacted Shane to ask about purchasing our unit back as an RV we were looking at to buy did not work out. Shane was very frustrated and said this just opened up a can of worms and he would have to speak with Lazy Days on Monday when he returned to work. Less than a 1/2 hour after this conversation we decided because of the hassle for Shane and how frustrated he was with this issue… we decided to send a text to Shane and to leave the signed contract the way it was. We would then proceed in finding another RV. Monday morning Shane calls and shares to come and get the unit as they found other issues and that he never received the text. Buyers or sellers beware that Lazy Days will not stand behind their word nor a signed contract.

Terrible service!!! We were told several things would be repaired/replaced, to come back the next time we were in town and everything would get taken care of at one time. They knew the date we would be back, which was about 6 weeks after the purchase. I texted our person we dealt with to touch base about a week before we were due to be there. She all of a sudden doesn't know what I'm talking about and says the repairs have to be approved and they were denied. I was livid!! I have tons of texts and emails saying otherwise. She told us it was a 3 yr old RV and we were to expect issues. It boils down to, we signed the paperwork and they were done with us!! We paid extra to have the ceramic coating done. TERRIBLE job!!! Terrible!! There are runs all around it and you can tell where they dried. About a month after the purchase, one of the jacks quit working. My husband crawls under there and notices there is a lot of writing and are stickers by this jack. This tells us this jack has been a problem numerous times! Then the latest incident was this past weekend. We were about 4 hrs from home, and around midnight. While going pretty fast down the incline on the interstate, we get a big BAM BAM BAM, over and over and over!! We thought we blew tires, then we thought we lost the enclosed trailer we were pulling. We finally manage to get on the side of the road and checked everything. The tires were fine. The trailer was fine. The problem?? The driveshaft completely broke into!! Half of it was gone and the other half had broken into. We could've flipped and been killed!! You cannot tell me this just happened on a whim. Obviously, the shop did not inspect this motorhome before putting it back on the lot to sell!! I will never EVER do business with them again!!

My RV was at Lazydays for 17 months for them to fix the rotting slide out. About 6 or 7 times they told me it was fixed and ready to go, so I drive a little over and hour to get there just to find out its not fixed. The roof was cut crooked, the floor was cut crooked, the shop manager told me they he cut the floor and it was straight. However, you could see that it was bulging out near the front, so I made the fix that. It has been hassle after hassle and several trips down there for it not to be fixed. Then some of the issue they just decided to either put tape on it or use incorrect bolts, which I made them fix it properly. Finally, after a little over 17 months my final trip there it was fixed, but they damaged the screen door which they said they would replace and now almost 2 months later they aren't returning my emails or calls. Also, while it was there for 17 months the siding was damaged and they don't want to take responsibility for that. I would recommend going elsewhere and stay away from Lazydays RV in Seffner. I was only asking to fix what they damaged and what was damaged while in their possession.

Two words come to mind when I think about Lazydays Tampa dealership... disturbing and unprofessional. I have to say the sales rep (Dewey) & financial manager (Andy) were extremely helpful and professional. I was all set to buy a beautiful DRV 5th wheel and out of nowhere the sales manager (Demond) called me and told me in a very belligerent tone that I was not interested in really purchasing the RV because I was delaying the close. Even though I gave a deposit and had arranged for financing. He let me know that if I didn't close within 24 hours the deal was off! His request just wasn't feasible since I live in Michigan and I would have had to drive my truck all night just to meet his demand and as a customer you don't like to be bullied into doing something that just doesn't make sense. My gut is that the management culture at Lazydays doesn't care about the customer. I did get my deposit back but it was the first time I had situation where the sales manager did not want my business.
