We have visited this location many times. We have never known a dealership to demand payment before you can even test drive one of their RVs. Most of the salesmen will talk with you in the indoor sales showroom but are not willing to take you for a test drive without an offer and down payment. They claim test driving puts too many miles on the vehicle. Like driving them from Indiana doesn't do the same or worse. Very shady business practices. Haven't met a reasonable salesperson there yet. We have thought about buying from them in the past but always come to the same conclusion, NO WAY!!

I bought a Thor Tranquility 19P from LA MESA in Sacramento, CA, that was the first big mistake. I inspected the unit at the dealership and pointed out multiple items needing to be fixed before I would take delivery. I paid an additional $2,500 for an out-of-state delivery. When the unit arrived the items appeared to be repaired, so I naively accepted the unit, that was the second mistake. Within 2 days the “repaired items” failed which included a window and interior moldings and window shades. I contacted the dealer they said contact Thor directly indicating it was not their problem. After multiple calls to LA MESA and Thor the Tranquility 19P still has these issues as no one will take responsibility for the failed parts. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE LA MESA in Sacramento your business. In my experience, they are crooks. The moment you hand over your money, they wash their hands of you. And DO NOT INVEST in a THOR Tranquility it has been one issue after another with this unit. Learn from my $151K mistake and save yourself the money and tremendous frustration.

I bought a brand new RV from them and drive back home. Found tons of cosmetic problems. There are even a chip from windshield and dirty clothes from cabinet. passenger seat is repaired 3 places. One 7 or 8 feet long scratch outside of the body. Their delivery room is inside so it's dark and only give you two hours window so most issues you won't found. that's the tricky part. when you drive the RV back to home then you are on you own. They don't care about the customer experience and also don't care about those brand new RV. I paid more than 130k for this and I have to spend additional 3k or 5k to fix those issues. It's really difficult to reach them, I got service manager called but nothing they can do, only wanna send me that missing LED cover which they should do a inspection first. That manager just keep silence and he didn't send anything for sure. I don't wanna deal with them any more and maybe hire a layer against with them. let's see. If they take care of those new RVs as their babies, it won't happen, if they make me happy , I will buy from them next time and my friends or more people will buy. it's simple way to do the business which you pleasure your customers you would have a good business. Save money and time Tips: #1 Don't buy RV from them because they don't have a good care to their RVs. My Rv is new but it's used condition from inside and outside with no care from them. #2 if you really wanna buy from them, please hire a professional RV inspector to do the job and also ask them move the RV to the outside under the sun , you will find all the issues. Planning whole day to do the inspection and don't sign any people until second day you cool down. #3 if you wanna do finance with them, please talk to your bank and you may get better rate. #3 Hope everybody don't make mistake I made and don't trust them and judge by yourself. Carefully read all reviews from others and mine.

We purchased a 2018 Fleetwood Bounder 35P with only 3600 miles on it on 2/28/2022. We thought we were getting a new coach for the price of a used one. Our problems began the day we took it home, and they still haven't fixed it right. Each time we have tried to use it the main slider for the kitchen has failed. I just found out that it also has a major recall that they did not repair prior to selling it to us. Carbon monoxide can leak into the living space and they ignored the recall. I just dropped it off at the Davis facility and was told it won't be ready until January. This is totally unacceptable, we have been making monthly payments for seven months on something we have not been able to use, and now it's in their shop for another 3 months. I even asked them to buy it back or trade for another RV, and they ignored my request. Where's the customer service they brag about? We can only hope they will reach out and do the right thing. We put it into God's hands.

There were issues with our Fleetwood Bounder and we gave a list to the sales rep. They kept the RV for along time and then said everything was fixed. We went on 2 short weekend trips found a broken speaker, broker window, weather striping- was to be fixed. We could deal with everything we found and my husband got a service appointment. So we took a trip cross country since everything wrong was minor. By the first day front room slide would not go in all the way and by the second day the 2nd key hole got stuck. We are currently sitting in Wyoming waiting for good Sam. I called Le Mesa and of course cannot get ahold of anyone. Be careful buying a RV here. Well Chris from La Mesa called back- so surprised. He gave us some info to hopefully fix the slide. Really no help with the lock so remember the broken window my husband got it open and is now crawling in the window. So as of yesterday from bad to worse- RV would not start at all!!!! La Mesa was no help. We had to call our own mobile mechanic, pay $200 to get the RV going two doors down to a Ford Dealer, get a hotel room for the night, and rented a Uhaul to get everything out of the RV since it will be a few days until Ford can even look at it. I called the dealer, spoke to the guy, Brandon, who sold us the RV and he said he can do nothing-so if they say they are there for you do not believe them. If you call for any reason they just send you to service .Finally got ahold of the service manager and basically was told call the warranty company. I would caution anyone from buying at Le Mesa RV and do not believe anything they tell you .Agree with most of these posts- they just want to sell you the RV and after that fend for yourself. I would give the minus stars if this review would let me. Oh and there were poor ratings on here the other day which seemed to have disappeared since- very interesting. To add to the story it is now 6/5/22- the warranty company was fantastic and paid for some of the finances we were out, but very minimal. I have talked to David at Sacramento La Mesa- who guaranteed me he would talk to the VP and get back to me. It has been over a week and never heard a thing. So I went onto the La Mesa website and chatted with a customer service rep who assures me that someone will get in touch with me- I will believe it when I see it. So still out $1915.62 and our RV is still in Nevada. As I said before do not buy a RV from La Mesa -they just want to sell you the RV and after that fend for yourself. I have decided to warn everyone I can against La Mesa RV so will be posting this on several sites until it gets settled and I am contacting the better business bureau. Will keep you all posted. Updating me last review: Now 6/13: So never heard from any one at La Mesa- called David, manager at dealership-had to remind him who I was and when he remembered he said he talked to his VP and was told basically too bad, you bought a used RV and it was fine when it left the showroom- that is just part of RVing. Told him he sold me a lemon, he said it is not a lemon and I can talk to their legal team. I asked how I can get ahold of their legal team and he said they will call and hung up on me obviously not holding my breath. So I am out about $2,000 thanks to Le Mesa RV.

Purchased my Tranquility 19L from this dealership in February 2022. I live five hours from their location. Settled on a price and rented a car and made the trip. When I arrived the van had nine items missing or inoperative. Declined the purchase. Ended up purchasing a different van , same model from them. Throughout the entire process it was almost comical the lack of professionalism on their part. I really wanted the van , so I went through with the purchase. Don’t expect anything in the way of service or knowledge from the staff at this place. They don’t return phone calls , or provide any solution to issues that arise. If you can find another source to purchase your RV, I suggest you do so. You hit the curb on your way out and your on your own. Definitely don’t recommend.
