We purchased a new Keystone Montana and the dealer sold us on several additional items (slide toppers, washer/dryer, etc.). They kept selling the one year warranty. On purchase day the FI guy added thousands of dollars in extras to the sale and we had to fight to remove those. At one year, we went in for service because the slide toppers were improperly installed and tearing apart. After many days of calls and emails to the Service Manager, he blames the dealer installation on the manufacturer and says the “dealer installed parts” only have a 90 day warranty, not the manufacturer’s one year warranty. These are not honorable business people and we are currently upgrading to a Class A and I would never buy it from Holiday World. The Service Department should be avoided.

From the start we had problems., the closing and receiving walk through was late. The service department had not even started on the punchlist of additions needed, not to mention the cleanliness of the trailer on the walk through. We were there well past dark in February working and finishing the items that were paid for to be added. Ask to see the DOT date of the tires, if you are picking up a used unit. I learned this after the fact when I went for my yearly inspection. The state inspector showed me the DOT date on the tires and they were 6 years older than the trailer. At some point the tires had been swapped for older ones, not original to the trailer. Also pay attention to the extended warranty...you have to bring your trailer back to the selling dealer or your repairs are not covered. I personally had this happen to me while on a trip with my family. While traveling down the road, a front jack failed and dropped the skid to the ground. I stopped at the closest RV repair shop, which happened to be just hundreds of feet in front of me. After trying to get the service contract to repair the defect for 3 months it is still not covered and I will have to pay out of pocket, because I am within 50 miles of a Holiday World. I will not ever do business with a Holiday World establishment ever again, they have been unreasonable and not at all accommodating.

10/19/2021: UPDATE This is a long read but well worth it if you are looking to buy a camper. I am revising my 4 star review to a one star review. If I could make it a zero I would. I bought my camper new in November of 2020. Buying experience was ok for the most part. Fast forward to now: I put my camper in the shop for some siding issues. It seemed that some of the panels were not secured correctly causing air to get into the wall while driving. No big deal, while it was in there I had them go ahead and check some other minor issues. I dropped the trailer off in the first part of August. I just picked it up yesterday in WORSE shape then when it was dropped off. Between August and now it was a completed nightmare. Went through 2 customer services reps that couldn't take proper notes and pass on the information correctly to address the issues. I finally said I wanted to speak to a Manager and got put on the phone with Bandy the servicing manager for Holiday World League City Office. This guy is a real peach. When I finally had enough of no communication WHAT SO EVER, I became a real thorn. It took over 2 months to get 1 piece of sidiing that needed to be replaced. When I kept inquiring about why it was taking so long I was ultimatley given the tracking number to my own shipment because these jackwagons don't have time to keep their customers informed. Finally, the part comes in last Thursday and they schedule my camper for pickup on Monday 10/18. The Saturday before I am to pick it up, they call me and tell me my trailer has been damaged on their lot and they need to replace more siding. I said enough and that I am coming to get my trailler. THE DAY OF PICKUP: I show up to pick up my trailer and I am not greeted by any manager. Instead they have a clerk thats been on the job for a week try and get me to sign off on the release of my trailer. Of course this doesn't go over well and I request someone to walk me to my camper and show me the damage they are responsible. In comes BANDY, he shows me the damage and says the panels have been order but again gives no time frame. I go further inspect my trailer and find standing water in the front storage compartment that cannot be explained, wire clippings/screws/splicing parts from them not cleaning up after their work, standing water in the living area with wet carpet, and the inside wall pushed up in where the forks of a forklift went through my siding. NONE AND I MEAN NONE of this was told to me and by BANDY'S reaction he didn't know either or did and was trying to hide it. EITHER WAY, this is piss poor management with a crew that doesn't give a crap what you spent on the trailer you bought from their facility. At no point in time was a sincere apology given by anyone. As a matter of fact Bandy did everything he could to avoid me. This shouldn't be the attitude of someone in a management position. If I wouldn't have walked my trailer down, I would have left with all this damage un-noted. It's really sad that a customers has to do the things I did only to get a brand new trailer back needing more repairs than when I left it. We are now needing new siding, interior bedroom wall replaced and the carpet replaced. These guys looked at me like I was an idiot and the one wrong about this situation. Holiday Worlds Policy of providing outstanding customer service is an absolute joke. DO NOT BUY A CAMPER FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT DOWN THE ROAD. READ OTHER NEGATIVE COMMENTS. ALL THE SAME.

CROOKS! This company took full payment from my insurance company to replace the wood and the membrane for the roof. They only changed the membrane and it is loose on all sides because they didn't pull it tight before terminating it. Then the shop guys can't even run a caulk gun to save their lives! The shop foreman himself tried to run dicor over dicor that had already practically cured...then they kept trying to tell me that dicor sags and can't be laid pretty. The service guy Mike tried to show me on a cardboard box. I took the caulk gun from him, set the cardboard box on a 6x6 piece of wood someone left behind for their jack, and made a 90 degree joint and laid a PERFECT BEAD WITH IT. So good that the shop manager Bandi offered me a job there. I have gone back 3 times to pick it up now and it still HASN'T BEEN DONE CORRECTLY YET! Then the service manager Bandi said "Let's go look at a NEW UNIT, because I bet it isn't the way you're saying it should be either." So we did and it was EXACTLY HOW I HAD BEEN TELLING THEM IT SHOULD BE! I've tried to reach out to their corporate in Katy to a Mike Apel. When he finally returned my call today around noon, while I was tied up with something else myself, it was to tell me that he was going into meetings today 8/4/2021, and that he would have Bandi call me. I've already talked to Bandi Mike...Why do you think I am trying to call you now? I've tried calling him back and left messages... NOTHING! You can't make follow up calls BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE DAY MIKE??? I've requested to speak to his boss or the owners... NOTHING! THESE PEOPLE CAN'T SPELL CUSTOMER SERVICE LET ALONE SAY IT! Obviously the OWNERS don't care about their customers either. I FULL TIME in my RV and this is just ridiculous. The first time I went to pick it up. The caulk job looked like a 5 year old had done it. The second time looked a little better, but still had holes in the dicor. This time the same where they aren't mating the membrane to the outer most edge of the trim/gutter and leaving holes for water to get into! You guys should UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER DAMAGE AND HOW WATER DAMAGE DESTROYS THESE RV'S. THIS IS THE ROOF FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THESE RV'S. Where is your professionalism and knowledge with this? Why can't a customer get in contact and actually speak to someone directly in your CORPORATE DEPARTMENT OR THE OWNERS? This is just really really SAD! My girlfriend and I was even looking at another smaller RV just for weekend getaways here that is 1/2 ton towable there but after all of this... FORGET THIS PLACE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A BUNCH OF LIES!!

2 dear lady friends of mine bought a 32 ft travel trailer from holiday world i believe the worst experience ever. The salesman Brent tried to offer a $650 starter kit for free then list in the sales receipt then when he removed it didn't offer anything cheaper. Sketchy. The morning the ladies mother and daughter had sent a driver for pickup he noticed the trailer was in service dept because holiday world employee had side swiped another trailer and was fixing it.when approached they had not called the ladies for them to know. I guarantee they wasn't calling and whoever buys that trailer will not either. So daughter went to the store and when she requested a 3rd party to look at damage she was confronted by service manager arguing well enough I had to step in to get him to stop and he was still aggressive. Holiday world offered a gift card to her as well as a choice of a new trailer that would have to be shipped in from another store. They didn't take in account time lost paying for 2 separate pickups and setup of trailer they were out. She did choose a new trailer but no compensation for losses. Just bad service they talked a elderly woman to take the trailer and she has to drive back from nacadoges tx 3 hrs to redo the paperwork. Gas manpower delivery people and time off expenses just blown off. Do whats right holiday world ... to late elderly woman just wanted to help her daughter applauds for worst expierence ever.you knew you were taking advantage of women
