Purchased a new 2022 Thor A.C.E. 27.2. at a fair price. Prior to signing on the dotted line were treated like V.I.P.'s by the sales staff.
Drove the unit home using chassis a/c, parked it under our RV awning, hooked up shore power the next day and found the main unit a/c would not operate. Contacted General and informed them of the problem expecting I could bring the unit in to correct the problem. Left numerous messages by phone and e-mail over the next several days requesting assistance and was told someone would call me back..When I requested to speak to the sales manager and service manager I was told that they were unavailable ( at a meeting, not at their desk etc) and if I left a message they would get back with me.
Needless to say no one did. After several days and advising them of the numerous actions that I would be taking to get the problem taken care they agreed to have a service tech check out the problem. It turned out to be a faulty wire connection which he found and corrected with 15 minutes. This problem should have been discovered and taken care of prior to the purchase.
A check of online reviews of this dealerships customer repair service is less than stellar and I advise anyone who is contemplating buying a new motor home from them consider how they will be treated after signing on that dotted line. In the future I will locate another Factory Authorized Service Center to do any needed warranty repair work. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the service...not the product.
