Finance Department ( handles All paperwork when purchasing a new RV) is not forthcoming on how the end result actually works on the Add On goodies they try to SELL you when writing up the Final Sales Contract. They will add various programs/extras to the Contract upfront( they make bonus money), then quickly run through them during signing, saying they can be deleted later! Comes later they will not follow through on deleting these extras. Or tell you there is nothing they can do. Be easy of what signing First! Show less

We purchased used 2021 Grand Design TT in Spartanburg, SC back in the fall of 2024. Used it in Myrtle Beach for a week with no problems. Left Georgia to spend Jan and Feb in Florida. By Jan 2nd we started having problems. Called General RV in Ocala and made appt. The serviceman who was supposed to work with us was sick, so we were assigned a young trainee, Sayal Kakar. He did an excellent job! He worked with us, explaining what he could. We left the camper there for 2days. During that time he made special efforts to educate himself on GD rvs and how to help us know what to do on several issues. He also discovered why our tires were shredding. It was an axle problem, and he discovered we were one month within warranty and quickly ordered a new axle for us. We cannot say how helpful and caring this young man has been. Show less

Don't buy here. They will overprice the camper. And if something is wrong with it they want you to pay to get it fixed. On a camper your buying from them. I think they bumped their head. Parts dept. Is way overpriced. Go somewhere else. I would look near tampa. Show less

I bought new to ensure less problems but was sadly disappointed. I had a camper held for me with deposit and was sold the next day to someone else. I found another camper and paid cash for it to dealer, brought it home and discovered things broke with leaking window. I contacted general rv and they said they had to order windows and would notify me when in came in. I never got the call. A few months later, during rainy season, my floor began to be weak. I’m still within a year and have warranty. No one called back or notified me in any way through all my attempts. I had to contact corporate to get it moving. By that time the entire floor was soft. They came and got it, kept it almost 7 months of my warranty time, brought it back and now the ac isn’t working. They dropped it off to me the day before a hurricane. And now will not respond back in efforts to repair something that was good when they took it. Show less

Bought Sanabel 3802 from GeneralRV in Tampa on way back to PA discovered serious water leak went to General RV in Elizabethtown Pa expected to have to leave it for a month or two. This was experience with other tv dealers Service was waiting for me Never had to unhook they found leak fixed same and I went home 2 hours max I was was happy and surprised Show less

I Wish I could leave a “0” rating! We drove 8+ hours to deal with this location and put a deposit on a motorhome before we left. Although our sales consultant was great, the motorhome was “sold” by another salesperson due to a cash offer on our sales consultants day off. We were never contacted until after the fact by the sales manager (Tom P.), who was rude and covering his tail since the fact that there was a contract on the unit already. No chance we would ever buy from General RV, or recommend them to anyone else. We have called the General RV corporate office and also, since we have followed Matt from Matt’s RV Reviews for quite some time and took the trek to General RV in Ocala because of his videos, we tried to contact Matt back, as we spoke to him by phone on the day of contract signing. We have not heard back from anyone. Funny thing is, when the cash deal fell through, they had the nerve to call to see if we were still interested. Find a local family RV dealership to deal with and stay away from the likes of General, and other dealership chains, they are all the same, promises, promises, promises, with no true ethics in the sales realm. I had a leek in my brand new camper they said they fixed it one month after purchase 1 year and 3 months later the front of my camper literally rotted away. My insurance company Said it was a manufacturing defect and would not cover the repair so I went to the manufacturer and they said it was 3 months outside of the warranty and would not repair it so I took it to a repair facility to find out how much it would cost to repair which was $7,000 the least expensive I could find I went back to the dealer to see if they would help with the repair costs they originally told me that they would give me $3,500 which was half and then I went ahead and got it repaired and they refused to pay me half. We do not buy the adventure ATI brand by primetime RV they will rip you off Show less
