Very, low maintenance, extremely well-made, quality, fabrics, and interior ,easy to use appliances. The generator starts up really easy. The RV is small enough that it’s easy to drive in the lanes on the highway and freeway , turn signals are easy to use and cameras. It’s extremely easy to park in parking lots and even to parallel park on streets. It is easy to unplug it and Drive away to Go shopping or dinner. And come back and hook up if you don’t tow a car. It is just a delightful motorhome to own.

After four years of ownership and 50,000 miles of travel, I cannot say enough positive things about this van. The Mercedes platform and engine is just wonderful. It is super comfortable to drive for long distances and has very predictable handling, even in high cross wind situations. The 6-cylinder turbo diesel has ample power for highway speeds and hill climbing. The interior build quality is top grade as Leisure Travel Vans uses excellent components and thoughtfully and skillfully installs the cabinetry, plumbing and wiring. Some of the many design features that I really appreciate is there are no overhead cabinets above the driver and passenger seats, making it much easier to move from the driver’s area to the back of the van. I also appreciate how the integrated gray/black water dump tubing that tucks away hidden behind the driver’s side ground effects body skirt. When it is time to dump the tanks, the tubing just pulls out of the integrated container tube and stretches to the RV dump facility fitting. What may be a messy process with other RVs could not be cleaner or easier with the Free Spirit.

We purchased this FreeSolo, which proved to be adequate for us. Shortly after our first trip in it (about 1900 miles round-trip)' my wife injured her back, thus the crawl over style bed was no longer an option. We modified the trailer dinette/bed area, converting it to dual north/south beds with walk space. The modification took about 3 hours and cost maybe $40 . It works perfectly. We have had zero leaks, All fixtures and appliances work perfectly. This us our 5th rv or camperand it has not disappointed us in any way. As far as towing our 2023 Nissan Titan 4x4 does not "even know that the FreeSolo in behind it.

We wanted to upgrade from tent camping and after looking at all of the available options, we decided that a fiberglass shell camper would give us lightweight towing options and hold long term value. This is where Casita stands out, it's a design that's stood the test of time and we could get everything we wanted for a reasonable price. The Spirit Deluxe 17' has turned out to be the perfect size for the two of us on our cross-country travels for weeks at a time. It has a wet bath, sleeping for 2 in the large dining area at the rear, a dinette that seats two on the side, a workable kitchen with a sink, 2 burner stove, microwave & fridge. A Maxx fan, an A/C with heat strip & a gas furnace.

This RV was so poorly built without Quality Control measures. It should have never left the Factory. It was a proto type and many were built and sold by dealers. At 1st. set up we discovered that the drain systems for both sinks, Kitchen and Bathroom were there in place but had never been tightened up at the connections. Also there were many leaks in the water lines from loose connections and loose basin nuts on the faucets. The roof drain along the front of the coach above the Awning had been assembled from 2 pieces of Chanel instead of one long piece which resulted in a constant drip above the left side of the entrance which resulted in water running down inside the outer skin and into the floor at the entrance which traveled the entire width of the floor from front to back of coach about 2 feet wide causing a spongy floor. Many other things like bad seal on storage doors, leaky windows, open areas underneath that were not filled with foam and so on. My complaint to the Factory resulted in a referral to the Dealer who had already told us on delivery that we should contact another Dealer with issues as they were so far away from our RV Park. I would not recommend any Forest River Product2

We purchased our 1998 spirit a couple years ago after downsizing from a 28’ pull-behind trailer. I love the quality and charm of this unit, the color scheme and fabric choice is tasteful, modern, and much more durable & better quality than newer fabrics. The interior shows almost no wear, nothing noticeable, but as expected there are small things of normal use. We love the floorplan with back entry directly to the kitchen & full bathroom. A fold out couch, dinette, and over cab bed will sleep 6-8 or more depending on your size & age. I can attest a couple of chubby retired Baby Boomers can be very comfortable. As a 5’4”, 70 yr old female, I like that the vehicle drives like a charm and handles beautifully. It has the Chevy chassis and motor so goes anywhere. I installed a back/up camera and can maneuver into any lot now. The exterior is in good shape too. Parked next to a new model it still looks new, however there is some de-lamination that is periodically visible with extreme heat. I think the previous owners had some water damage repairs done. But we have had the roof redone just in case, and have our “RV Guy” check it every year and caulk it if needed. Due to my husband’s health issues we may have to give up the RV life soon, but until then we are loving it!!! Overall it’s an awesome RV.

The concept for this unit is great. The execution is lacking. The A/C unit does not cool the cabin off and blows luke warm/hot air. The warranty process takes forever from the manufacturer. They really drag their feet. I put in a claim and it took almost 6 months to get responses and action. The A/C unit has a terrible design that does not allow for air flow to the unit. The Free Solo does handle well off-roading and drives particularly well for being as light as it is. The overall functionality and comfort is lacking overall. I purchased this unit primarily because it was small and had an A/C and have regretted it ever since. If you don't ever need the A/C then this unit works fine.
