We bought this rv brand new. It traveled through two dealerships to get to us in NC. In April just my husband and I took it on its maiden voyage. We realized the solar panels somewhere in its traveling between dealerships disappeared. The stove top glass piece broke the first time using the stove. The plumbing was built backwards. The seals for the slides came off. And while bringing it back to the dealership the bunkhouse window, that we never used since it was just the two of us, popped open. It has now been at the dealership for 7 weeks. Wildwood keeps sending the wrong parts not once, not twice, but THREE times! Now we have missed out on two trips we can’t get our money back for and paid 60k for a camper we can’t get parts on. Now we are picking it up anyway with a boarded up window. And when people ask us what happened we tell them to stay far away from Forest River. They clearly do NOT care about their customers. I even contacted them myself. They no longer return my calls.

Bought brand new from the dealership.. We Used it for a total of one week... and it already needs a whole new floor due to plumbing in the shower never being connected to the drain by mfg. The front door won't close or lock. The outdoor kitchen door is jacked up and won't latch due to installation errors not square. We get electric shocks when you plug it in and touch anything. Of course the slide out is tearing the floor. Nothing but problems happening since we bought it. We literally had used it for 1 week! The Dealership has had it in their possession since February 26 of 2021 and still waiting on authorization to repair the floor! (It is now June 4)I already need a new travel trailer and this was Brand new when it was purchased! I'm beyond angry. And extremely disappointed that this company allows these errors to leave their facility. Never buying another. Tell all of your friends to avoid them, I know I am. 🍋 anyone.

We bought 2 forest river products since 2017 one was the Sun seeker 32 ft. RV with full custom paint almost 90,000 we first had electric issues burnt out outside tv and microwave on second camping trip . On forth camping trip went to hook up water and it started pouring out the side . Lines busted and had to be taken back to dealer again. Only put 1400 miles on which 600 was taking it back to dealer for issues. Finally had dealer sell and dummy me bought a Salem 33 ft 3 slide model well so far the converter box has burnt up and the air went out we had gas leaks the outside speakers are junk brittle have broke already the latest issue is the floor started discoloring a yellow/ orange call the dealer the knew what it was cheap glue coming up through the floor . Won’t fix cause past one year mark??
The first RV I bought a extended warranty this one I didn’t .. my bad forest river doesn’t stand behind their product nor do dealers care. I spent 130,000 in about two years . I won’t buy another forest river product ever!

Going into an travel trailer purchase, I knew we couldn't expect home quality, but wow what junk, and failure to rectify problems. Can't get warranty department to call me back, can't get a dealer to work on it as they (multiple) claim they wont get paid. Cross threaded lug nuts, loose wires, smashed wires, not properly balanced, door wont latch, much less dead bolt. No underbelly heating as sold. Hot and cold water lines reversed, leaking roof due to staples from inside the RV and the list goes on and on. Looks like we will be heading to court to get any warranty service done.

Just finished my first trip in our new camper. Before we left had to get outside kitchen plumbing fixed. Hot, cold and drain all leaked. Bunk room door will not latch, curtains have pin holes in several of them, black water rinse leaking somewhere in the belly, the galley holding tank is only for a clothes washer that we will never use leaving all gray water going into one tank. Why wasn’t it plumbed for galley since it’s clearly labeled galley? Simple things like coax labels were put on backwards. We had to order the camper and wait for it to be built certainly thought they’d have done a much better job with all the time it took. Not happy with our camper or the factory that produced it. I’ll have to see how company backs its product.

You will be fixing water leaks you will be fixing everything else in this camper as life goes on. Don’t bother calling the dealer because if you did not buy it there you’re at the end of the line you have to pay upfront and you will have to fight for the company to get your money back. Good luck👍

Other than a camper this is the 1st RV my husband and I have owned. We are in our 70's and for the most part it is no trouble on most highways. I would not recommend driving it around in Southern California as the roads are too crowded and fast for our reflexes and it doesn't feel like you are on vacation. Once you have arrived at your destination its just like having your own apartment. The u-shaped rear kitchen gives you lots of space for making meals. There is an amazing amount of storage. The king size bed is as comfortable as home. Hooking and unhooking was a learning curve but not rocket science. We love our home on the road.
