After four years of ownership and 50,000 miles of travel, I cannot say enough positive things about this van. The Mercedes platform and engine is just wonderful. It is super comfortable to drive for long distances and has very predictable handling, even in high cross wind situations. The 6-cylinder turbo diesel has ample power for highway speeds and hill climbing. The interior build quality is top grade as Leisure Travel Vans uses excellent components and thoughtfully and skillfully installs the cabinetry, plumbing and wiring.
Some of the many design features that I really appreciate is there are no overhead cabinets above the driver and passenger seats, making it much easier to move from the driver’s area to the back of the van. I also appreciate how the integrated gray/black water dump tubing that tucks away hidden behind the driver’s side ground effects body skirt. When it is time to dump the tanks, the tubing just pulls out of the integrated container tube and stretches to the RV dump facility fitting. What may be a messy process with other RVs could not be cleaner or easier with the Free Spirit.

We purchased this FreeSolo, which proved to be adequate for us. Shortly after our first trip in it (about 1900 miles round-trip)' my wife injured her back, thus the crawl over style bed was no longer an option. We modified the trailer dinette/bed area, converting it to dual north/south beds with walk space. The modification took about 3 hours and cost maybe $40 . It works perfectly.
We have had zero leaks, All fixtures and appliances work perfectly. This us our 5th rv or camperand it has not disappointed us in any way.
As far as towing our 2023 Nissan Titan 4x4 does not "even know that the FreeSolo in behind it.

The concept for this unit is great. The execution is lacking. The A/C unit does not cool the cabin off and blows luke warm/hot air. The warranty process takes forever from the manufacturer. They really drag their feet. I put in a claim and it took almost 6 months to get responses and action. The A/C unit has a terrible design that does not allow for air flow to the unit.
The Free Solo does handle well off-roading and drives particularly well for being as light as it is. The overall functionality and comfort is lacking overall. I purchased this unit primarily because it was small and had an A/C and have regretted it ever since. If you don't ever need the A/C then this unit works fine.

You will not be able to use this travel trailer in heat over 85° because there is no insulation whatsoever. I am in the Texas heat and even after cooling it off for over 24 hours it is still 90° + in here. I am so disappointed in this purchase. I would not recommend this travel trailer to anyone. It sucks!

To my complete disappointment, my brand new Braxton Creek Free Solo pours water into the kitchen if it is raining outside. It's camping and it does rain. We had to use a bowl to catch the water while we were using the kitchen. I would expect to be able to use the kitchen while it's raining but oh no, that is not the intended design per the manufacturer. This was their response to my inquire. "...it is not mean to be used in the rain. It is not something that we are intending to change."

I purchased a Braxton Creek Free Solo from Cousins RV in Loveland CO. The total cost came out to be $18,000 to drive it out of the lot. After my first outing experience with the trailer I realized what an over priced POS it is. This camper is made from hand selected cheap, unreliable and underperforming components and appliances, put together by the lousy workmanship of the over exploited American middle class with all of it's mediocrity. Braxton Creek is working hard to keep consumer expectations low. As a proud American I am really ashamed of this product... I wish it came with a "Made in China" label.

We have 3.5 years in the bus, and I very much enjoy it!
Things that I wish I could change:
* I wish the air conditioner were more quiet.
* I wish it gave up on some storage for living space. (it has lots and lots of storage!)
* I wish the bed were more comfortable without a special topper.
