We bought a used rv, needed a brake controller...they charged me over 300.dollars..found out the next day that we did not need it...they refused to take it back because it is electronic.also found out that you can buy one at wallmart for 237.00...we are not happy...we are brand new to rv's...buyer beware dont buy here...there was no warning that we could not not return it.??? Do not give them your money. They have yet to respond or refund me $500 for a deposit, that is refundable. I drove 120 miles to visit this location in Seguine, TX. I read the reviews and they seemed to have a decent reputation. The salesman that was with me in my search was RON SULTEMEIER. Ron was nice and presented himself as an honest person, worked many years in the service department for SA RVs before transitioning into sales for the past year. After looking around for 2 1/2 hours, I selected an RV for purchase. I was told by Ron that I just needed to place a $500 (refundable) deposit for the RV and pay the rest with check on my next visit. I planned on buying the trailer outright and was not financing with them. A couple days later, I emailed Ron thanking him for showing me around and being a great host, but I decided the RV was not in my best interest due to my current situation and asked for the $500 refund. I wrote Ron this email on Sunday, January 24th 2021. As of today Friday, January 29th I have had no response or communication from Ron or SA RVs and still don’t have a refund of $500. I was very honest with Ron through this whole process, and I’m ashamed I nearly bought an RV from this dealer. I guess when I don’t purchase from them or request a refund, I’m met with silence and denial of my refund. I have patiently waited Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday for a response from Ron or a refund to my debit card. But I guess if I don’t spend money at their establishment, I’m immediately ghosted and my $500 taken. I’m very disappointed in this company and Ron, who presented himself as a hardworking, honest man that has lived in RVs for many years. Ultimately, this has been a blessing in disguise, to know how San Antonio RVs operates and treats potential customers. Since I have had no response via email from Ron or San Antonio RVs and have yet to be refunded the $500, I’ll proceed with a formal complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals Office and BBB, if needed. I hope SA RVs Management reads this message and honors the refund of my $500. Show less
